Clean room and friendly staffs”
Staffs are very helpful, they take extra notice on the food preferences you have and offered good suggestions. They take time to engage with their guests and make you feel warm! Room itself is quite basic but that's all we needed by a beach. You won't be able to see sunrise at juara beach but the view is still fantastic!

Great seaview”
Prior to arriving we tried to book a transfer from the ferry to the resort. We were unable to do this unless we organised a bank transfer and paid in advance. This is not very guest friendly for travellers. The chalet was very old and shabby inside. No space to put anything and bathroom had no shelves and was a wet room. You had to take tissue in and out otherwise everything got soaked. Bedding was clean. Last night was eventful where I was woken by a cockroach walking across my pillow. First day at breakfast we requested tea. It came with no milk. When I asked for milk I was charged RM 3 and had to purchase a carton of milk. I complained. When I went to pay later they waived the charge. This just made me eat and drink elsewhere during my break as I did not wish to support a business who tries to charge for every small thing. The breakfast was chosen from a small selection on the menu and was ok. We stayed in chalet A8. Beautiful seaview from the balcony. Just a patio chair on balcony.

Basic needs were met. Only thing that we could have done with is a fridge in the room. ”
Was pleasantly happy the room was clean and in good condition compared to most of the other island chalets I've stayed at. In addition, the restaurant food was very decent.

Clean”
Although it’s a basic cabin hut but it’s air-con works well. Spacious enough to fit couple and a young child.

Above average”
We enjoyed our stay. Only thing is they don't sweep under the bed. It is thick with dust and trash that previous visitors had left including old food.

BED BUGSSS”
No one will enjoy to sleep with bed bugs. 3 of us also bite by the bed bugs during the stay. The resort is away from crowded beach, and it locates at a peaceful quiet beach at the east side. No activity except diving. The food at the restaurant is quite tasty.

Overpriced with awful service”
The ceilings leaked when it rained. The walls were wet. There were ants in the bathroom. The lights didn't work. For dinner we were told the chef was only prepared to provide fried rice. Breakfast was always fried noodles accompanied with what I suppose was an egg (arrive early as supplies are strictly limited) The bread and toaster disappeared on day 2. We tried to rent a canoe, but they were "broken, sorry". Unless you were a regular, the manager hid from you. The "reception staff" were ineffective to say the least. On the plus side, we did have clean towels on the third day.

Not a great experience”
I wouldn’t recommend this location if you want to embark on activities with children. From the resort itself they charge 50 rm more for activities and to get to anywhere else requires 4x4 vehicle transportation (a return journey costing £36.00 for a 20 minute ride to the ferry port where you can go on excursions for much cheaper. Agoda also did not make it clear that payment at the resort was cash only so no cards to be used. The only staff that was polite was William the manager of Juara Beach Resort who tries his best to help a single mum with two children resolve her nightmare on arrival. The rest of the restaurant staff were unfriendly.

Resort but just a place to sleep”
For the money given, breakfast was just ok. Not resort standard. The room lack basic facilities like a tv & fridge. The water pressure from the shower wasn't even great enough. The reception wasn't even helpful throughout the stay. Facilities for beach and water sports is lacking. Guidance for the island facilities are also lacking. Not worth the buck

Acceptable”
Stunning location. overpriced and sadly unfriendly apart from the Manager, William, whom tried hard to cope without much support from his staff.

Solo Traveller To Tioman For The First Time”
Being a budget traveler I must say this that the hotel is worth for the money and very pleasant clean room. This is first time I travel alone to Tioman and I was not alone there because the villagers and the hotel staffs were very friendly. Since I went to Kampung Juara during the mansoon season, most of the restaurant was closed and not many activities i can do it on that period. However still enjoy simple food that was sold in the village. The hotel staff has offered me help to bring me around the Kampung Juara Up to Tekek. I had good time travelling around the Kampung Juara. what a pleasent green view!! And also I have went hiking at Kampung Juara and enjoyed the beauty of jungle as well the small waterfall which found near the Kampung Juara. I would say that 2days might not enough to enjoy the beauty of the place. This is very special trip ever had in my life as solo traveller I have made new friends, had chit chat and travelled with strangers. I might come back to Tioman again after some time. Its my promise to myself.

Welcome to Paradise”
This resort is the most well run, well maintained, and best place to stay in Juara on Tioman Island, especially if you're travelling in a group. The rooms are amazing, they have great water pressure in the showers, cool & quiet air conditioning, comfy beds and you even have a kettle if you feel inclined to make tea. The food is impeccable. Delicious, tasty AND! really cheap. Not only that the staff here are really friendly. I spent a week here and I was treated like a king. Everyone was very kind and compassionate and I will miss them dearly. Not only that but the resort balcony faces the water. I mean what a view! Wake up and hope straight into the water for a swim then, your up at restaurant for breakfast. (I recommend the pancakes & watermelon juice) Thank again Juara Beach Resort for the amazing time :)

All you need in paradise”
Stayed in the Deluxe Chalet. It had AC, but we barely used it since it cooled off a lot at night and there weren't many bugs so we just left the windows open. Otherwise, it wasn't especially luxe, but if you are spending your time on Tioman in your room, you're doing it wrong. The beach was powder white, gorgeous, perfect. You can't see it from the room, but you can hear it, and the setting is amazing. Very, very quiet and peaceful. We were there in low season, so maybe a different vibe when full, but I'd go back there in a heartbeat. My only suggestions for improvement: the restaurant was not that good, so we ate next door at Paradise Point, and they could use some hammocks or beach chairs (though the place next door seemed ok with me using their hammock all day, too--not sure if that was part of the restaurant or the hotel). But overall lovely experience, unwound a lot of stress.

Not bad ”
I expected worst and didnt really put any expectations. So with that in mind, i'm overall satisfied. To get to this resort, you'd have to get down at Tekek. Then take a 30min ride on 4x4 over a mountain(my ears popped) to the east side of Tioman. Slope was at 45deg at certain areas. RM25/person. 4 person/room with 2 double bed Garden view. Toilet is clean, beds & room are clean too. Has a working water heater and air-con. Staffs are friendly. One of my room light is not working and the staff immediately replaced it. The next day, water heater didnt fire up and the staff also rectify it immediately. Thumbs up. Booked a snorkel trip with them, went to Pulau Tulai. About 35 people in the boat. Supposed to have 3 stops but only did 2 because of strong winds. Choppy waters. About 6 people vomitted in the same bucket. LOL Rented kayak and a scooter too. Beach was empty. Probably because of low season and the resort location. Food is available at the resort or shops ahead(5min walk). I'm a budget traveler so i'm totally fine with this resort.

Just OK”
We only stayed a few nights before moving on other (better) accommodation. Juara Beach is on the far side of the island so it's a bit remote but worth it if you're looking for something peaceful. The rooms at the resort are basic, but that's ok as they're also pretty inexpensive. The restaurant is right on the beach so that was nice. We were really underwhelmed by the hospitality of the staff. They graciously allowed me to reschedule my booking, however interacting with them in person was pretty unpleasant. No smiles, everything seemed like a bother. Also, the internet was completely useless. It seemed like Juara Beach Resort caters to large tour groups. This meant that there were so many people on the wifi at the restaurant that we couldn't use it at any point during our stay. I personally didn't enjoy sharing the restaurant with the extremely loud tour groups every day. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

Good location and very new”
Had a fantastic overnight stay on our stopover to tioman. located near the bus terminal, easy to walk over midnight once we reached by bus. There is a pasar raya nearby and many eateries. We stayed at the quadruple room. Is big enough with clean beds, cool and quiet aircon. The hotel is less than a year old. They have shuttle service to the ferry terminal which is a bonus. I

Great for a short beach escape ”
Loved the seafood at restaurant overlooking the beach. It would have been perfect if the chalet was on the beachfront. Well managed but staff could have been friendlier and more accommodating. I would come back here if heading to Tioman again but would most probably try the other end of the Juara beach first where Tamara and Coconut Grove are located.

Fantastic beach. Great people running the property ”
The only con is Tioman ferry services and nothing to do with this highly recommended resort
