We were sad we had to leave”

As we got bored with Bali we wanted to see what Lombok is about. We decided to stay on the main island which for us turned out to be a good choice as staying at the Gilli’s would mean staying on a tiny spot and paying quite a lot. We found the Jeeva Klui Hotel after doing our research and we got a got deal with a room with a private pool. The airport pickup was good: the driver even brought drinks and a towel for refreshment. Check-in went well as well and we noticed the high level of professionalism among the staff straight away. The hotel is there to serve you and treat you as their guest. They are willing to make the extra step to give you the best possible holiday experience. The hotel serves high tea free of charge every day together with some delicious treats. There is also a happy hour with some snacks. The a la carte breakfast was excellent every day again. Again as they are here to serve you if you are still hungry after a round of breakfast just order more. The hotel itself is too far to walk to Senggigi but then again for about IDR a Bluebird taxi brings you anywhere. As we had a private pool we did not use the general pool. It seems good though: just in front of the sea. The beach seems private so no unwanted people trying to sell you all kinds of stuff. The hotel is nicely designed and looking at the different rooms it does not really matter which one you book: they are all good and each has its own extra. Just pick what you like (and fits your budget). We did two tours with the hotel and both were good and reasonably priced. The room was cleaned multiple times a day. There was turn down service, tea making facilities and a French press coffee maker. Our room had an outdoor shower and an outdoor bathtub. Both were appreciated. All in all we had a most excellent stay

Best Kept Secret of Sengigi Lombok”

When we finally booked this hotel, we have gone through an extensive research for accommodation in Sengigi. This is because we want a perfect place for our honeymoon. And Jeeva Klui did not disappointed us at all. From the airport transfer, the hotel service, the room, and the view, all have made our trip memorable. The food that the hotel provide was also very good, therefore the guests do not really need to go to the center of Sengigi to fine a good food. The Wallace room is very comfortable, and the cabana near the beach is the perfect place to enjoy the sunset. The other plus side of this hotel is the use of local and home made products. Almost all the furniture in this hotel is using Lombok style furniture. It gives us a very Indonesian atmosphere. Moreover, the condiments for breakfast is also using local fruits that is not less tasteful or even more tasteful compare to imported fruits. Overall, we have a really wonderful and pleasant time staying in this hotel. We surely will stay in Jeeva Klui in our next trip to Lombok.

Lovely and relaxing stay”

We stayed at Lombok at the beginning of March 2013. We had 2 weeks holiday and divided it between 2 hotels: first week we spend in Jeeva klui, second week in Puri mas hotel. It was just two of us, but we choose to stay at Amra villa because wanted to have some privacy during our stay and the thought to have our own pool in the courtyard was cool itself! The villa was spectacular, very beautiful and comfy. We loved our bedroom and our big balcony with comfy sofa. We felt a little smell of straw in the house. But it didn’t spoil anything and even felt like integral part of image of traditional old sasak house. All sanitary worked properly. Housekeepers visited our villa twice a day, about 4-5 people at once every time! But it turned out that during our stay we didn’t use first floor at all, even our private pool! Partly because the water inside it was quite cool and partly because of the fact that big pool was almost every time empty and we were only guests swam there. So it felt like our own (thanks to low season)! Wi-Fi was quite good everywhere what let us serf internet any time we wanted and make video call from Skype with good picture.Sea floor near hotel area was mostly sandy but sometimes with pieces of stones and dead corals, so using special shoes would be wise. Staff in the hotel was really nice, friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were very tasty. We choose everything we like in breakfast menu in every quantity and never heard a single word or saw a single look of disapproval from waiters. Every request was satisfied fast and with constant smile. Some days we had lunch (about $25 for two) and dinner (about $50 without alcohol for two) in hotel restaurant. Another time we went out for dinner in Senggigi. We used taxi (about $2 one way). Our favorite places were Yessy café and The Square. Must try both! We would definitely recommend this hotel for everyone. It was almost perfect in every aspect, but next time I think we will chose one storey beach front villa.

Jeeva Klui is simply amazing. Stunning location (right on the beach with breathtaking sunsets), incredibly relaxing (though very close to Senggigi if you want additional dining options, shopping, etc) and once you unwind you will wonder why you've not come sooner (we didn't want to leave). We appreciate the property is relatively new so everything is looking very spic 'n' span. Providing they keep up the maintenance, it should continue to look this way always. During our stay, the garden staff in particular, worked tirelessly to ensure presentation was immaculate (fallen leaves were continually picked up to ensure nothing looked messy). We loved the use of natural products (stone, bamboo, thatching and woven mats) in the architectural design of the property. Restaurant staff were extremely attentive and friendly. If I had to be critical about anything, it would be the food. Breakfast is the same eeevery day (served to your table, not buffet) - (tea/coffee, juice (choice of 2), pastry basket (5 pieces (same every day) for 2 people - I was very excited about the chocolate croissant on day 1, but not after day 10!), main meal (choice of 5 options - these never change from day to day so for extended stays it does become very monotonous!), fresh fruit (3 different types; 2-3 (small) pieces of each). We only ate at the restaurant once for dinner (we like to explore) and were very satisfied with our meals, though we did talk to various other guests who felt the food was hit 'n' miss overall. Perhaps some fine tuning is required? Overall we loved our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jeeva Klui.

Fabulous design and excellent service”

this is probably the best hotel i've ever stayed in. service was impeccable, staff addressed me by name and couldn't do enough to make sure that my stay was comfortable. efficient pick up service from airport (1.5 hours away from hotel), i even ordered my lunch from the car so it was ready when i arrived at the hotel. i forgot to pre-warn the hotel of my lactose intolerance, however, chef jayadi came up with an ingenious recipe to make lactose free milk. no other hotel i've ever stayed in has gone to these lengths, it was much appreciated. beautifully designed and furnished rooms, nice partial sea view, great infinity pool and an excellent location for a relaxing getaway. jeeva klui have thought of everything even free wi-fi in your room plus a library with a computer if you don't want to take your laptop. this hotel is simply the best, thanks to marino and all of the staff at jeeva klui i had a fantastic time and hope to return soon. i don't usually rave about much but jeeva klui was truly exceptional. i urge you to check it out for yourself before its fame spreads too far!

Beautiful Peaceful Smiling Jeeva Klui”

We (2 adults and 11 year old child) stayed in a beachfront single story villa right next to the restaurant and pool. The entire resort is fantastic. The rooms are plush and beautiful with a very tropical feel. The outdoor bathroom was beautiful too and had gorgeous smelling shampoo and soap. We ordered breakfast in the restaurant every morning and even had the staff bring it to our room one morning. Breakfast was great with pancakes, eggs, toast, bacon, juice, espresso coffee and cappuccino cost a little extra. We also had complimentary afternoon tea each day as there was construction work at the rear of the resort (didnt even hear it). The pool is nice but chilly! Was good to be able to take a dip and then relax in the restaurant/bar lounge chairs until our daughter was ready to get out of the pool. The only downside was not with Jeeva Klui but with a selfish French family "reserving" the only pool chairs near the pool even when they were not there for hours. This meant that if you had children in the pool there were no available chairs nearby to sit on to keep an eye on your children swimming. As well as the pool lounges they also "reserved" a beach cabana when they were not using it. This seems to be a common problem with Europeans on holidays. Please Jeeva Klui, remove towels, shoes, books etc left on unused chairs/cabanas/lounges for more than an hour so that all guests can use the resort facilities as they were intended. I can't wait to come back to Jeeva Klui. Three days was not enough.

Wonderful Hotel with INcredible view”

Jeeva klui came recommended to us by some of our co-workers as a great place to stay, and we were not disappointed! The rooms are large, airy, comfortable and well-appointed. The bathrooms are nice. The downstairs rooms even have outdoor showers. The location is amazing, as you are literally lulled to sleep each night by the sound of breaking waves on the shore. The fresh, warm pastries every morning were delicious. The service at the hotel was fantastic. Although the hotel is about 10 minutes for Senggigi, the hotel will drop you off in town if you are heading in for dinner, shopping, etc. Other services in the area, such as diving, will come right to the hotel and pick you up to take you to boats for the Gilis, etc. We are already planning our next trip back to Jeeva klui!

Romantic Getaway ”

I had booked a 4D3N stay at the Akasha Pool Villa. Upon reaching Lombok airport, my husband and I were quite annoyed because we could not find the hotel representative at the door. Had to call the hotel and finally the rep went forward amongst the crowd. The rep was friendly and he offered to bring us around Lombok as it was still early. We went to the weaving village but that was it because we were exhausted from the flight and wanted to head straight to the hotel. He even stopped by the supermarket and let us bought some snacks. Upon reaching the hotel reception, we were greeted by the front desk staff. An unfortunate event happened when a staff spilled a drink on me. It was not intentional and they apologized profusely. Eka, Hariani and Widya were efficient and check in was a breeze. The pool villa was really beautiful. In fact it was more pretty in real life than in photos. The restaurant staff, Jan, was the best server for breakfast. The other staff rendered good service too. We took the spa package and had a relaxing time doing the treatment. Beri and Wira made sure we were fine throughout the entire time. Despite the power trips in the morning and the flies (!!!), my husband and I had a wonderful time at Jeeva Klui. We will definitely be back to stay at the other villas. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay a memorable one..

excellent hotel with private beach”

We visit jeeva klui for our honeymoon just a week ago. We made our reservation via agoda and stayed on the beachfront room. The excellent review we read eaerlier from agoda and tripadvisor is accurate to define our stay experience. The hotel itself is located in klui beach, not far from the popular senggigi, but it is very private. It sits on its own beautiful private beach. The room rate itself is quite reasonable with what we get. The hotel also provide free pickup service from and to airport. Plus a free transport to a very excellent seafood restaurant called menega. We rate the hotel a 9.5 at least, even near a perfect ten. Truely a hidden paradise

Gem of The Senggigi Beach”

We were having such an excellent experience with Jeeva Klui. The interior, the landscape, layout and the scenery was amazing and give pleasant and peaceful feeling. We were staying at Akasha villa and fascinated by the beautiful private pool and terrace and we were crazy for cinnamon scents that fulfill the room. The internet connection in the room is good and we have an outdoor bathroom that was very clean and comfortable. Our room was very private, quiet and suited well as a room for honeymoon couple but unfortunatey our room doesnt have a direct view to the beach. The beach itself was very clean and we can do snorkeling there. Right before the beach, there is a pool so we can swim in the pool while watching the sunset. The hotel has a library that was called "the wallace", the interior is so cozy and i could easily spend hour reading book or playing oard games or just internet browisng. The breakfast was okay, and the dinner a little bit pricey. However, when we decided to bike, there is only one bike available considered the frontline promise that they provide two bicycles. Overall the hotel was very good and nevertheless, Jeevaklui is Senggigi gem, indeed.

from the pick up at jetty to early check in, nothing was a hassle at this resort! fabulous service from front desk to kitchen staff and not forgetting the groundsman keeping it beautiful and clean. as a family of 5 with 2 teens and a 5 yr old we absolutely loved our stay at the jeeva klui resort in one of their amra villas. after many many visits to bali over the years we couldn't believe we hadn't made the effort to come to lombok earlier- stunning island !!! be sure to get to the south kuta beach, waterfall in the lush north and definitely time walking thru the locals food market in mataram! enjoyed visiting during the "quiet" season loved that there were hardly any tourists out there....so terima kasih to all at jeeva klui for making our first time to lombok most memorable!

Fantastic Charming Hotel. ”

Had a great stay at this hotel. Extended my stay two nights. I'm now on Gili Air and regret leaving. This hotel is what most look for. At least what I look for. Away from crowds and intimate. I don't give it a 5 star rating only because that is an extremely high standard. Yes, Jeeva Klui was wonderful and I would stay again, but there were some details they don't do that leaves it a a 4 star hotel. Details are important and Jeeva Klui needs to work those out. Housekeeping failed to offer turn down service the second to last night. On the last evening they did half of what they normally do. Perhaps rushed and didn't complete the expected service. Cushions at were a bit soiled and needed to be cleaned. They didn't come around with afternoon treats if you were out by the pool or beach area. No fresh fruit offered in the room or a welcome note. If management noticed I was extending my stay daily (twice) perhaps they would have acknowledged that somehow. None of which affected me time but little things that are extra and make it a true 5 star. For the rate I received, service, and amazing view... it was a great stay and happy with this property.

Lovely boutique resort in Senggigi”

this is our 5th stay with jeeva klui and we will keep on coming back to stay here every year. we never want to look for other resorts becaause jeeva klui is our home in lombok. we booked 2 other villas for our friends of which is their 1st trip to lombok and they just loved the resorts! all staff are very nice, they always say "welcome home" to us and this is really pleased us. the restaurant menu is much improved since our last year's visit in oct. 2011, they have installed a new chef. the breakfast is served to your table instead of queuing up in buffet line and you can order almost anything from the menu. wi-fi works beautiful in our villa. overall are just excellent!!

Perfect place to relax”

The Jeeva Klui Hotel is a fantastic place to stay. I am not a beach bum and loath lazing around all day but this place is just so relaxing and beautiful. You get you own 'cabin' and we had one with the shower outside. The views are stunning and you are in a good location if you want to visit the Gili Islands. From when you set foot in the reception till when you leave, the staff are just the nicest and most professional I have ever met. The food is excellent and you get free coffee or tea between 4 and 5 pm. On top of that they offer 30% off in the Spa or on massages and it's buy one get one free for all cocktails between 4 and 7 pm. The room is kept spotless and fresh and the breakfast is a must have as you can't find any other places in the direct vicinity. The price for the breakfast is well worth it as you can choose whatever you want and how much you want of the breakfast menu. We didn't want to leave after 3 nights of staying there. Highly recommended and LGBT friendly.

Heaven in Senggigi”

This is our first time going to Lombok, we choose Jeeva Klui because of the great reviews in Agoda, and we thought it would be perfect place for us to stay for our Honeymoon And yes we are right. We love the room, it's very private, we don't feel to go out except for Breakfast and lounging by the pool. The Food is excellent. We tried some other restaurant that recommended but the taste cannot compare the food served in JeevaKlui. They had different menu for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.We enjoy every single of it. The service excellent. We ask for early check out early in the morning, and they provided us with Bread, Juice delivered to our room. Bottom line, we deft will be going back staying here. Might bring along our family and extended the staying much longer. Sweet sweet getaway.

Classic Beach Resort,Lovely in Every Way”

Jeeva Klui has taken the classic 'recipe' for a beach resort & made what is easily the perfect pit stop for weary city dwellers who live in the region. A small property, with a total of 35 rooms, it offers very reasonably priced rooms which are all more or less the same size but some have their own pools. Service is casual but always excellent and respectful, the staff never failing to smile & greet you. I had most of my meals in the hotel & generally everything was pretty good. However I would stick to the Indonesian or Asian dishes though, which are understandably superior than the Western fare. The spa is also very good: try the Jeeva Revive or Serenity massages to bliss out on while the sound of ocean waves lull you to a deep slumber. Two downsides though: it only has one restaurant. (If you're there for 3-4 nights, that would be fine. Any longer, the menu options might get limited.) Wi-fi is available but extremely slow. So if you're expecting to stay connected all the time, this might get frustrating. Nothing that a refreshing glass of lemongrass mojito can't cure though!

Our Perfect Honeymoon Place”

jeevaklui is perfect for honeymooners... private beach, stunning secluded pool villas with direct beach access and snorkeling and swimming right infront of your room! the private romantic dinner options is amazing. the service and food are excellent. the food price is affordable try the cocomint smoothy :). definitely try the dinner at the cabana - stunning and so romantic! the staff is fantastic and food is delicious. the architecture of the whole place is breath taking. everybody in jeevaklui are very nice and friendly especially. we recommend this place and you will not regret it. thank you jeeva klui for making our honeymoon such a memorable one. we will see you again for sure! book room 115 the best room in jeeva klui.

Paradise found!”

We were lovestruck on arrival to Jeeva Klui! The location, the gardens, the architecture, the sea views and the ambience - you could not ask for a destination to be more welcoming and breathtaking. The staff were so friendly, remembering us by name every day, and the restaurant offered many delicious meals both asian fusion and local fare. Three nights could easily had been extended to five nights, but we had a booking on Gili Air. We really didn't want to leave. We will return and bring our friends as we know they will all appreciate all Jeeva Klui has to offer as a peaceful retreat on Lombok

The most relaxing resort I've ever stayed in!”

This was the second time we stayed at Jeeva Klui, and certainly won't be the last. In fact we are already planning to return within a year. The staff are very friendly, and always trying to improve. When we arrived this second time, it felt like we were coming home. The first visit, we spent more time seing the sights of Lombok than in the resort so we vowed to spend more time at the resort than sightseeing this time, and we achieved this! We left the resort only twice, and both times couldn't wait to get back. It is the ultimate relaxation. The food is really good, our favourite being the a la carte breakfast. Those waffles with chocolate sauce are to die for! Not to mention the delicious freshly baked pastries, the creme brulee, pool tapas, and every one of their seafood dishes! The thing that sets Jeeva apart is its small size, 100% exclusive beach access and seclusion from the rest of the world. Also all of the staff from the chef, to the manager, waiter to the security are exceptionally pleasant, non-intrusive, and professional.
