Myself, wife, daughter in law, two grand children aged 6 & 4, and my mother in law, we only used J&Y as a base. We were in Chon Buri to visit my stepson for 6 hours at his Army base just 3 km away. The two double rooms we had were very large and very clean, especially the shower and toilet. I'd asked for an extra large double bed as one of the grandkids would be sleeping with the wife and I, at no extra cost, and what a surprise it was massive. There was a small electric kettle in each room, a flat screen tv, air con and small fridge in each room, plus the WiFi was satisfactory also. The toiletries were of a small size bur renewed daily, there were only containers to drink from , not cups or mugs for your coffee or tea, the beverages were not supplied either, but that didn't matter to us as we normally take our own teas & coffee with us, plus cups. I would ask for a rear bedroom as these would no doubt be quieter, we stayed for two nights, and while we were out and about visiting and traveling to the beach (20 km away) our romms had been spotlessly cleand when we returned, although we had left the "Do not disturb" sign on the door knob, The restaurant wasn't open due to Covid, so no breakfast or evening meal, but once again didn't bother us as we were dining out all the time anyway, but I can see that once things return to normal here then everything will be really good again, this also reflected in the price we paid, which was very low indeed. Nearby there is a 7-11, and a night market which is a must to go and see, and definitely eat there, food and service where we ate were very good indeed. Like I say though in any review I give, it is what it was for me and my family and we all enjoyed J&Y, I have stayed in some hotels that were absolute rubbish, and given them a bad review if they've needed it. This place was great for us, and for what we needed...a base.

If only”
If you'd take this hotel and dump it on a beach, it would be lovely. In fairness I only stayed here because the marathon at Bangsean literally sold out all of the hotels there. Having said that, the room itself was great, comfortable bed and huge bathroom. There was some misunderstanding concerning wifi, as no one from the staff (even after calling IT) was able to tell me the password but luckily, I had data on my phone. The pros were the size of the room, bathroom and generally airy feel of the place. The cons were the wifi, the vicinity of the main road and, for me, the fact there was no remote for the air-con.
