Struttura pessima, si salva solo perché è di fronte alla spiaggia”

La struttura è pessima, la pulizia inesistente: muffa sul soffitto della camera (al piano terra), tende della doccia bucate da sigarette, un odore disgustoso appena entrati e per gestire tutte le luci c'è un'unica consolle sul comodino (significa che non si può accendere la luce dalla porta di ingresso, bisogna entrare al buio e raggiungere il comodino). La connessione internet va e viene quindi non si riesce a conversare telefonicamente o caricare file sul PC. Quando sono andata io l'hotel era in completa ristrutturazione, spero sia migliore in futuro. L'unica cosa positiva è la posizione fronte mare, ma lo stesso non è pulito e sull'isola non c'è praticamente nulla! Consiglio di pernottare a halong bay city anziché sull'isola di Tuan Chau.

Loading of boats were moved close to this location which is why I booked here. But other than a couple of other attractions in the area, there is nothing else. Drove pass previous loading location and it would've been better off staying in that area

Lovely resort, dead in the off-season ”

Pros: great prices in December, pool, private beach, helpful staff, beautiful room (furthest away but I nice view), hot shower was divine, our tv lost the English channel and they fixed it right away, buffet breakfast one day and a la cart the next but they made anything we asked for. The bed was sooo comfortable, not a rock but not a cloud. Cons: we went in the off-season so many things were closed, no mini bar in the room as advertised, the 24/7 restaurant had hours, though the staff were as helpful as they could, their English wasn't very good.. they told us many things (i.e. the dolphin show, nearby restaurants) were closed and we found out later they weren't! It's far away from Ha Long City/Bai Cha (?) town which was kind of annoying in the off season when we wanted to go to a different restaurant but probably would be ideal in the summer. Basically the place was a goat

Older hotel, needs work - expensive.”

It was odd to realize this was the most expensive hotel my son and I stayed at in Vietnam - also the worst. The property is old and in need of painting / upkeep. The staff was not overly friendly or eager to help find things to do nearby. The beds were incredibly hard and worst of all, even after asking twice, the pile of hair in the bathroom was never cleaned up (after two days). Combined with the price, this is the only hotel of five we stayed I would not recommend.

Hotel grounds were nice but the rooms are very out dated and smelly, the roof leaked but it was raining a lot, the bathroom smelled of urine and mould, staff was not real helpful and would never go back.

Nice hotel near amusement park”

Hotel is near the amusement park, which is quite good for kids. The entrance fee is 200 kVND, but you can use for the whole staying period.

I had a good stay at the hotel, the room was clean and big, though the furniture is of low standard as compared to the stars that the resort is ranked.

Tuan Chau Island is an artificial island close to Halong bay. We came in the low season, so there was barely no other guest and we felt very alone and everything seemed very soulless and empty. There is an adventure park on that island, but we haven't been there because we're not into something like that. We cancelled our stay for one night because we felt very bored. each restaurant on that island is extremely expensive. The beach was very polluted and disgusting. The hotel itself was nice, it was nicely decorated and very clean. We had no Wifi in the room, but it was for free in the public areas.
