The wall separating our bathroom from the bathroom of the neighboring room wasn't actually a wall, in that it didn't continue all the way to the ceiling. The walls that did exist were cardboard thin and we were kept awake literally all night by noisy guests, and the staff refused to move us to a quieter room. The room itself was dirty, windlowless, and my husband literally cut his hand on the bannister going up the stairs because it was in such disrepair. This is a hellhole of a "hotel."

Nice location, not a bad stay”

Location was very good: right next to the river for a nice stroll at night and a few minutes in the other direction to the night market and tons of cheap eats. A couple blocks past that was a decent market to go through in the morning. Some staff spoke no English but we managed through google translate. The room was decent sized, maybe clean when it was left last but since had accumulated a dead gecko waiting for us inside the door. Otherwise alright. Kind of a cool old building gave it a smudge of charm. There was a window into the interior hall that was a bit odd but posed no issues with curtains. Shower rack fell off when we touched it but easy to delicately repost. Fridge, hot water AC and fan all worked, mattress was better than many other budget spots and there was an outlet near the bed for convenience. There may be a couple cheaper places in town but I'd reckon tan phobic has a good balance of value, location and facilities.

You get what you paid for. It took long time to cool up the room. Room is small, and the wall is thin. If you are on saving, this hotel is quite an ok choice.

See previous review. Also forgot to mention that the cleaner (I presume it was the cleaner) attempted to enter the room on at least two occasions while we were in there, despite the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door.

Rooms are good value, huge in size and well-equipped. Came with TV and some english cable channels, air-con, fan, en-suite, desk, wardrobe, fridge. Room was clean but had a slight smell of smoke. Staff were friendly but spoke very little english, not a big problem, can just take a while to mime out what you're trying to say. Main annoyance was the guy trying to sell tours. He pounced on us at the reception on a number of occasions (felt like he was stalking us) trying to sell us Mekong boat trips and wouldn't provide prices without sitting down and explaining everything right through and trying to do a hard sell, became quite awkward trying to avoid him, plus he quoted $50 for a 4 person day trip, but found the exact same for $40 elsewhere.

the room was clean and comfortable, but quite small. the hotel is very close to everything, so a great location- can walk all over. staff were nice, but didn't speak much english, so i ended up booking a bus from another hotel.

The staff is friendly and useful. Evaluable place for a short stay. convenient for going around and visiting. the support for children and river trip are fine. You should ask for soap for example if there's missing.

Before booking a room at this hotel I read the room features saying tea and coffee included. When I checked in, there was no tea and coffee. I asked if I could have tea and coffee they said coffee and tea are not provided. I said they are provided as they were listed in the room features advertised by Agoda. They said that tea and coffee were provided before, but not now. Then I said to them that they should have deleted these features from the list. However, when I told them that I would write feedback on Agoda this problem they later brought in my room some tea and coffee.

Nice staff but smelly!”

I thought the staff was very friendly and they helped us set up a boat tour for the following morning and arranged bus tickets for us. Unfortunately, the AC in our room did not work very well so it was warm in our room. Also, the bathroom was really smelly because there was no ventilation, so it wasn't even from us it was just kind of lingering in the drain. We talked to the staff about switching rooms and they refused.

rooms vere comfortable for the price, and with my window to the corridor it was quiet too. only con in my room was the smell from the drain in the bathroom. told the receptionist about it, and he only came to cover the drain with the trash bin. last night some people came to the room next to me, and i realized our bathrooms were connected with a big hole up in the wall. so sound-wise i was staying in same room with them!

Great hotel with even better value”

We arrived and were immediately greeted by a Mr. Tang who offered us a 5 hour boat tour of the river to see the two major floating markets nearby as well as other visits along the way. It only cost $15 each for the 5 hours in a personal boat, which was much better than most deals and scams I had read about and was fearing. The hotel itself was really easy to check in to, and it was in a great location. our room was really clean and large, and the beds were very comfortable. Even with little english spoken at the front desk, they were very helpful and tried their best to explain things.

Très bon séjour”

Séjour très bien. Le personnel est sympathique et très serviable. Nous sommes arrivés tard le soir et le patron nous a aidé à trouver un bateau pour aller voir les marchés flottants le lendemain matin à un tarif tout à fait raisonnable. Il nous a rendu de nombreux servives et était toujours prêt à nous renseigner, avec le sourire. Hotel très bien situé.

L'hôtel est très bien situé en bordure de fleuve. Il n'y a pas de petit déjeuner c'est dommage. L'accueil est décevant.

Esta bien para echar una noche, que es lo que hay que estar en Can Tho. Esta justo enfrente de la oficina de turismo y del puerto donde se cogen los barquitos para el paseo al Mercado Flotante (5 metros). No es una maravilla, pero a nosotros nos hizo el apanyo perfectamente. Esta limpio. Recomendable para una noche de paso
