Abbiamo soggiornato per una sola notte causa temporali in arrivo il giorno successivo. E' stata un'esperienza indimenticabile. Lo staff e la struttura sono incredibili. Le stanze spaziose con bagno molto bello. Le finestre molto ampie ed il balconcino privato sono state il tocco finale. Il massimo del romanticismo per chi viaggia in coppia.

Not bad, the food was nice! Even the cruise ship seems abit old but it’s quite well maintained, Mr. Son was quite a nice guy and speaks well English too! Overall not bad, will definitely recommend my friend to book when the price are reasonable!

Excellent cruise. Staff was prepared and professional. Food was excellent with variety to satisfy everyone. Cabin was clean comfortable and well appointed. Every activity was excellent and EVERYTHING was on time!! Thank you Syrena!!

Our trip got cancelled…”
Upon boarding the cruise we were told that due to bad weather conditions, we will not be allowed to stay overnight on the cruise. The cruise continued to sail out to the caves but we had to return and disembark after dinner and we were transported to Halong Plaza Hotel to stay overnight till afternoon the next day, without any additional compensation. It was a pity that we didn’t get the full experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable though, and food selection was amazing.

Enjoyable trip”
The ship and rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. We used the transfer from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay, this service was not very good or well organized. Might be better and cheaper to arrange your own transfer.

Mid priced Ha long bay cruise ”
It was to our expectations after doing quite a bit of research. Syrena is a older cruise ship but was clean and bed comfortable. Balcony is a bit on the narrow side so keep that in mind if you are a bit larger as it makes it a bit trickier to sit in your chair, but definitely worth it. Food was nice. Activities were touristy as we had expected but we knew that when booking. Although there are lots of tourists, Sun sot cave is definitely worth seeing. Titov island is just ok, whilst we really enjoyed Luon cave and the scenery after passing through. Our guide Son was great and very knowledgeable. I think you are are really paying for the location and guides, if you want to have a newer boat with more space in the bedroom and nicer lounging spaces on the cruise you will need to pay a premium so we were happy with our experience as we didn't really need these.

We were given a VIP room but the aircon didn't work. Hence they replaced the room with a standard room with no TV. Wi-Fi was available before leaving mainland & completely cut off once you are in the open sea. Overall its steep price was meant to offset the high operating costs.

Syrena Cruise”
Got picked up in Hanoi at the hotel in a small bus since its difficult for the larger bus to drive in Hanoi. Just outside Hanoi at the tour operators offices we transferred to a large bus. Staff were very friendly, spoke English free, wifi, free water. The boat although looking a bit old, is the same as every other boat there. We were welcomed on board, gave an itinerary and keys to our room. We cam back in 30 mins for lunch. Food was very good. I cannot praise the staff enough for their friendliness. In the afternoon went to a cave which wasn't really a cave and sort of boring. Came back to the boat for Spring Roll cooking lesson and happy hour (bought one bottle of wine and got another free), after which it was Dinner time. Food was served by courses and I can't complain. After food there was shrimp fishing, not exciting there are watching Top Gear in Vietnam on a projector. On the day of leaving be expected to leave your room by 9.15am.

I really liked a cruise, staffs and foods. The best was delicious foods I ever had on the cuise. And happy hour(drink 1 and get 1 free) was great idea for pleasure.

A trip to remember”
We liked almost everything of Syrena cruise.Staffs are very helpful. Ms. rosie arranged a car for us for $80(one way) which was higher than we expected & bus for return at $15/pax. The car journey was comfortable. They have their own lounge/waiting area. room was clean & nice . Food was good & enough. Our Ship was all Asian cruise, it was fun to be along with people from korea, Singapore & China. we had specific table for each country with national flag in dining hall !!super fun! Their schedule was really good, not too hasty not too slow, just ideal to enjoy everything. They took us to the surprising cave, Titov island on first day & boating /kayaking on next day. we did not join in Tai chi lesson . What we felt should be improved is drinking water supply. They provided 2 small water bottles/room & charged for water bottle in the dining room. water bottle should be provided for free in the dining room. The bed sheets were too hairy which should be changed.

Overpriced, Nice service, and a one time experience!”
Honestly, Just my opinion it is just worth doing this boat for a one time experience in Ha long Bay. I believe it was one of the nicest boats in the tour. But, I believe the service and the time on the boat is kinda overpriced. I believe paying so much for drinks on board is difficult to swallow considering how much we paid for this trip. I heard so many others pay less than we did for the same boat which is difficult to hear. The staff we nice and the happy hour price for drinks is reasonable. I would honest advice, the boat offers happy hour all the time because you are barely on the boat anyways. The dinner menus were nice. The number of people on the boat was nice not too crazy. I wish they had kayaking available, which isn't their fault... But they should be more upfront with their guests and explain the situation! I do not believe the shuttle to and from Hanoi should have to be purchased. The price of this boat should cover that. I feel kind of nickel and dimed to be charged for everything when you are paying way more for this trip! The welcome drink is kind of a joke, but to be expected. The boat staff were ok... the manager was nice. The tours are not very detailed with information, they are more sight seeing. I am not sure what to say about value, because If we had received a better deal I would have been happier, but because we found out people booked for $100 less, i feel ashamed of Agoda and the they this system runs. Just very touristy and it feels it. For that a person who lives in SE Asia I will not do this trip again. If it felt more of a value and better experience I would possibly do it again just for better weather. But, not really thinking I would do it again.

This is definitely a bucket list vacation. The scenery was spectacular, The food was awesome and the staff was outstanding. Unfortunately we went the first week of April when the kayaking with banded but the cruise line did a great job and providing us with other sites to see.

Provided transfer from Hanoi 4hrs at reasonable cost ... food & excursions were excellent ... staff was attentive & cabins were clean & comfortable ... kayaking has been forbidden by government two weeks before we arrived ... go to cat ba island for kayaking

The stay was awesome! The rooms even though very petite in size, everything was well equipped inside. Love the little balcony in the room where i spend time chilling. and admiring the beautiful scenery. The programme on the cruise is very well planned and didn't felt too rushed ..Really enjoyed the cruise .. The staff were very friendly and provides very great service.. Would definitely be back for more!
