I love this hotel. Small but just perfect for us. We have the nice view of the Namsan Tower and on the left side we can see the Myeongdong Cathedral. The room is just enough for us, a small closet is provided and we got a clean toilet and bath. The bed is quite hard to lie on, hope they'll provide a more comfortable one in the future. :). The busy Myeongdong Street Food and Shops are just in front of this hotel. Such an easy walk if you need to buy something or whenever you want to grab something to eat. There are washers available and free of use, just without the dryer. The staffs are friendly and very polite and they are fluent in English which is such a plus. Breakfast is good: smoked egg, ham, cereals, coffee, fresh milk and bread. We will definitely come back. Highly recommended. :)

Superb location, good facilities”
At first sight, it is a very cramp room for both of us to stay. But I must say the inn has provided everything the guests need in and outside the room. There is a comfortable cafe for us to hang out. There is a simple breakfast spread and free flow of coffee, tea, orange juice whole day. The best thing of this place is the location, right in the middle of myeongdong shopping streets. The only con is I stayed in the room right behind the reception. People checking in late at night or talking too loud at the cafe may wake us up. Probably try to avoid this room.

We went to seoul last winter and had a great time staying in step inn for the first time.Great option for stay,value for money.the room was a very clean and comfortable.The view from window was nice,also heating system was excellent.the staff friendly,can speak english.They were helpful..the location was great near to the shopping district in myeondong and subway.simple breakfast provided.we will definitely come back again. Very convenient for shopping, food, transport and the Cathedral is just around the corner. Great location... very nice and friendly and helpful staff... Rooms are small but comfortable and very clean... The breakfast buffet is really good and drinks are available 24/7... Would love to stay in this hotel again and again!

Great Location, Helpful Staffs, and More than Expected Facilities”
Myself together with my family, total four of us, had stayed in this hotel for 1 whole week and we had a very good experience there. Firstly, by sitting in between 2 Subway stations (Line 2 and Line 4), 5 minutes' walking distance, enable us to travel around easily. Secondly, all the staffs over there are very helpful and I personally feel that facilities they provided is over my expectation. You can find hair dryer inside your room; you can get universal power point converter on loan without deposit; and, breakfast they serve is generous enough with good varieties although it is the same for every day. In short, I strongly recommend this hotel which is situated just beside the Myeong-dong walking street in Seoul.

Stayed for a night in a 4 bed in a room . Hostel was surprisingly clean even the toilets. The room is a little small but it is really clean for the price that I've paid. Borrowed the plug to charge my phone and an umbrella as it was a rainy day. Staff were really friendly. Location is easy to find. Just walk straight from myeongdong station exit 8. Definitely recommend to stay here and will stay here again.

Great location. Very clean. The shower pressure is great. They have water machine that guest can just bring their own bottles to fill up for free. Coffee and tea also available at all times in the kitchen. The hallway has a hugh scale so you can weight your luggage before leaving. Great service highly recommend.

They have free basket where you can drop your unused stuff if you dont want to bring it home. Can hear other room noise at level 15. As long as we have a civic minded to keep the area in peace, that would be fine. Steps away for Myeongdong Market. Facial and spa place in same building.

I tried a different guest house the last time I visited Seoul but I ended up going back to Step 1”
The guesthouse offers complete facilities, from a large pantry to a comfortable bed. The location is superb, when you get out of the building you’re 10 steps away from the shopping area. The location is also near Subways like Myeongdong & Euljiro so it is easy to go around.

excellent location very near the shopping area of myeongdong, breakfast is average it's the same menu everyday but good to go for a free breakfast, very attentive concierge. Great food selection near the area, there are coffee shops & very near convenience store, near the train station. will book this again

the room is small but clean. water is high pressure and hot i love it. staff is helpful. breakfast is smallc choices but you stay in the midth of muengdong easy to find restaurent. they have iron and iron board for borrow. and there and universa power outlet in the room.

Located in the heart of Myeongdong, close to shopping area and street food are just few steps away. Love the room, I'm staying in the 2 bunk bed without windows, but it's spacious enough for me and my son. The hotel also has washing machine that can be use for free. For the breakfast they provide ham, cheese, milk, cereal, bread, boiled eggs, tea, espresso machine. It's all great. Thanks to AGODA that always give the best price.

Needless to say about the location, you have Lotte & Shinsegae duty free within walking distance. Step Inn occupies at least 12, 14, 15 floors (there's no 13th floor!) of the building. Breakfast areas on 12th & 15th floor with simple spread of bread/toast, egg, ham, milk, orange juice, coffee w/ coffee bean machine and assorted tea bags. Just wash up after yourself. Stayed on 14-6 on my 1st night, I would say I slept comfortably. The dorm is clean but very very small, only enough space for 1 luggage to be open at any one time. Privacy blind, 2 power points, hangers, light provided for every bed. Toilet is small, I would touched the corners diagonally if I just stretch out my arms. Tap on the sink and shower are integrated into one, so at any one time, you can either turn on shower or tap but not both. There are metal shelf & cabinet above the toilet for you to put clothing/toiletries. + there's a hair dryer.

This hotel is very near to the shopping areas and night market. Near to train stations, places to eat, convenience stores and walking distance to group tour pick-up points. the hotel is clean but maybe can improve by changing the breakfast spread alternately. overall, our stay was exceptional.

The staff is so nice with little guy who helped us found the postal which we order from website, he try his best and found it and gave it to us with the time before we leave the hotel. Also the senior manager helps us a lot for asking detail of the postal that lost, i am really appreciated them and recommend to stay here and i am surely stay here for further time, Thank you , we had a really great stay here

We don't have any regrets in choosing Step Inn Myeongdong 1 as our home in Seoul. The location is perfect because it is located at the heart of Myeongdong. We love the view from our room which is the Namsan Tower, and the common area every floor is a plus. The breakfast is nut just a soso because it satisfy and energized the guests before starting the long day of tour. We'll definitely choose this hotel. Ten stars for us!

Great location in Myeongdong”
The room was one of the best stay during my visit in Korea. The staffs were very helpful and spoke good English. We stayed in the room nearest to the receptionist and expect the free provided earplug will be needed; but surprisingly we slept very well without being disturbed. Also the staffs allowed to store our luggage until 9pm; which is very helpful and considerable for us.

Stayed for 6 nights. Check in and out is a breeze with 24/7 front desk personnel. Super clean with basic toiletries and towels and slippers. Location is superb near to everything. Thank you Step Inn. Highly recommended!5 stars.
