The room is a studio apartment style, spacious and comfortable. The location is very near exit 2 of Hongdae station and it was also very easy to get taxis from this area. The Manager is very responsive, kind and helpful. He added our number via WhatsApp and we were able to communicate easily with him to ask him questions and for help. It was a pleasant stay and I would definitely consider staying there again.

Great location, but noisy.”
The room was simple and clean with good value. The host was very nice and helpful and he speaks Mandarin. However the building is a complex building and it was too noisy because of not only the construction sites nearby but also poor sound proof of the room. If you really care about the noise you may not wanna stay here but if you are ok with that, this place would be a good choice.

Pros :Clean,big,excellent facilities and very near the subway. Cons: blinds do not block out the bright street lights making it difficult to sleep. The duvet covers are clean but the duvets smell old and musty and need a good wash. The supervisor checking us in was ok but it really is all on your phone and if you don't have Internet connection or low battery it is tricky.

A few things to summarize our experience: 1. We asked for check-in details but none received (our friends reserved different rooms received). 2. Service desk (Room #804)was locked and we had trouble finding anyone upon check-in. Spent 20 minutes sending messages through Line and making phone calls and finally someone showed up. 3. The staff (or owner, we weren't sure) informed us that we had to change to another room due to heater maintenance after our 2nd night (we booked 4 nights). Changing room was fine cause he promised he'd definitely send us a message about the time one day before. We didn't receive any message and the we were woken by a staff the next day. We told the hostel we needed about one hour to get ready/pack but we were rushed to change the room before the time was up. Location is great and the room is tidy. I'd definitely stay in the same place again but a different hostel.

Mr Kim was a helpful host who provided assistance whenever we messaged him via WhatsApp. The apartment was maintained clean by daily disposal of our trash bins & the towels were replaced daily. With utensils & cookware available, we were able to cook some meals in the apartment. The location was conveniently within 5 mins walk from exit 2 of the subway station so u could minimise walking in the cold.

Location is good, 3 mins to exit 2 Hongik station. Suggest owner to put a English signboard of his guesthouse name on the building. Room is very basic.

This was my second time staying in SH Seoul, and I will definitely be staying here again once I get to visit Seoul one more time. The location is very convenient. The room is very spacious. Mr. Kim is very kind and responsive to our requests. Definitely 5 stars from me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Old building. Not worth to stay here even it is cheaper than other building. Furthermore, the toilet was dirty and the owner was not take note on the requirement. Feel very disappointed on staying here.

The property is old, washroom is not lockable, only password to access the room. Overall doesn't feel worth to stay.

Very tidy hostel and the staff is really friendly to help us and answer our questions. Few minute to Mrt stations and around our hostel got a lot of shopping complex Pleasant stay at here Really recommend Staff able to speak well English and Chinese Easy to connect with them

Enjoyed my stay a lot at this place! Great location just across Hongdae shopping street and Exit 2 of Hongik University subway station. Mr. Kim, the host was also very helpful and friendly.

Superb location”
It was my first time to Seoul and finding accommodation with convenient location was my 1st priority, because I was travelling with 2 young kids and 3 elderly. Read a lot of review that this place was convenient and true enough it was VERY convenient! There is no signage for the guesthouse, but the building is just beside Samsung building which is easily spotted once we are out from Exit 2 of Hongik University subway station. The main office is at Level 8. The host Mr. Kim is very helpful and friendly. Once you "check-in", he will send the details of the room password/room wifi to your phone. It is convenient to have the room with digital lock, so we don't need to worry of forgetting the key. Room is spacious. Basic toiletries are provided and washing machine is also available in every bathroom. There is basic cleaning done daily, except on Sunday, but rubbish bin still gets cleaned and towel changed. There is also 7-11 shop just beside the building.
