We booked this for summer vacation and it was a good deal. The hotel was very close rome termini station and it had a lot of food places and shopping to do. The hotel was clean and the staff was really helpful. It’s also a safe place and safe hotel. My friend and I loved it

Hotel is good but very old and lift is too slow. Staff was very professional at the reception. Breakfast could be better and recommended to add some egg dishes except boiled eggs which were cold. Walking distance to Termini station and other attractions. Regards

The hotel is nice, super clean and has a variety of yummies for breakfast. Most of the staff was nice and friendly with us, with only the exception of the man early in the evening. The location is close to Termini, which is very convenient for going to the airport but there aren’t many good restaurants nearby and the streets around are a bit dirty but maybe that’s a Rome problem, not the neighborhood itself. It would be nice if there were more healthier options for breakfast either than leaf salad and tomatoes. Overall, it was a good experience, specially for the price.

Good service and great location. Just a few mins walking distance from Roma Termini and metro station of Castro Pretorio. Everything is super accessible from here. All you need to do is just step out of the hotel and start exploring Rome.

Really amazing breakfast. Excellent value; convenient location close to Rome Termini, in a seemingly safe neighborhood. Room was spacious, although did feel a bit bare. Soap but no shampoo.

Great breakfast selection! A few minutes walk to the metro. They can also accommodate late check-in which is not available for most hotels in the area. We arrived at midnight and had no issues.

We showed up and were directed to another hotel further down the street as there was a mix up/ over booking or something... Atleast a staff member took us there ans helped us with our bags.. Really close to Termini station so no need for a taxi/ bus from the final stop on the train!

With the rate paid for this location very comfy bed and generous breakfast; cold water shower in summer, toilet flushing noise from neighbouring rooms, trolley wheeled along corridor shouldn't be asking for more.

Air con is making big noise. Troublesome check in and out. Took photocopy of all passports. When check out due to staff's problem, asking to check passport again. Free WiFi must sign in with Google or any social media account. Don't feel comfortable.

The Elevator ”
Pros: 10 min walk to termini , good value, interesting Lobby furnished with antiques from 1960s, good breakfast. Cons: staff not friendly, tiny rooms for solo travelers although they display completely false photos of single room in booking websites, I could barely enter the shower tube although I am thin, one Elevator serving the whole 6-floors hotel which is so tiny & old (barely accomodate 2-3 persons) most of times I queue in line for the lift, old furniture in the room. Wifi signal weak & slow as well. Overal: affordable accommodation for a hotel not far from Termini but the Elevator & bath tube are disastrous. All in all I would give it a 5.5/10

When we reached San Marco Hotel they didn’t have any rooms for us. Receptionist told us that they have 55 bookings in excess. It´s hard to believe poor management of hotel booking staff. They moved us to another hotel (Hotel Bled) which was ca. 2 km away. New hotel was satisfactory. Nothing against new hotel. The rating given here holds for Hotel Bled (except value for money). It was disappointing for me in general because one spends some time to read previous reviews, rating and location on agoda website and plans according to that. After changing hotel suddenly without any prior intimation, the time and efforts spend while booking doesn´t have any meaning.

Hotel and rooms were dated and in need of updates. Breakfast was mediocre, and there was really no on site facilities. There was a school trip of teenagers booked into our hotel one night and they were very loud. When we complained about the noise the front desk staff did nothing and said they would try and contact the teacher; this made sleeping that evening near impossible. When we arrived we asked for a restaurant recommendation for lunch and one of the staff sent us to a restaurant about 5 blocks away (which was not great) despite there being lots of good restaurants in the immediate vicinity. I would not recommend anyone to stay here.
