Would definitely go back, the hotel is perfect for me”
Arrived really late, maybe around 2am. The people at the reception desk treated us very warmly, and they knew who we were because we were the last to check in. Aside from a minor issue (like my dad looking for a bellboy, and since there were none, the guy behind the desk offered to take our luggage.. of course we declined, but talk about great service!) I booked the standard for 3 days, but since we arrived earlier I had to book another room, which was premier.. my parents liked it so much (and to prevent the hassle of transferring to another room as well), my dad opted to pay for additional and we just stayed where we were. The room was perfect, the cleaning lady was gracious and very polite and the toilet was great because it was fully automated! Would go back for the toilet alone, haha. This hotel comes highly recommended as the location is excellent, the people warm, and the toilet was the absolute best!

We definitely enjoyed and loved our stay in Royal Hotel Seoul! it was sooo worth it! the location was a big plus -- very convenient and accessible to almost everthing you need, easy to locate and has a generous driveway for taxis to pick you up or drop you off. The reception was great! The receptionists were attentive, polite, corteous, accommodating and smart. Their staff were very nice and helpful... from the doormen, the room cleaners, the restaurant crew -- all were warm and nice. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast. The room -- very spacious, very clean, and so cozy. The Their hallways smelled so good. Their lobby was very nice. Overall, we loved it! Would definitely still choose to stay there if ever we go back to Seoul. 🤩🤩🤩

1st day we check in we have no problem with the communication . There was a Chinese speaking staff to assist us . He provide useful information The hotel location is nearby myeongdong subway station and ejimoru(1) station . We had a pleasant stay at Royal Hotel Seoul. It’s easy to find. Just take bus 6015 from the airport and hop off at Ibis Hotel or the next stop. The room is adequately spacious and the hotel staff are nice. They can let you check in early starting at 10am for 11usd per hour, which we graciously took as we arrived at 8am. What I like most is the rooms are really quiet. I noticed though that they had a double bed for a king size bedroom. We immediately requested for a room change as my husband and I don’t fit in a double bed. They were kind enough to transfer us to another room. The pillows are a bit small but we didn’t mind. Try to avail of their airport shuttle to save money!

Everything is excellent. Location is perfect just across starbucks and 711 which is a BIG DEAL most especially during winter! Just one small thing, I asked for a non smoking room but we could definitely smell the odor of carpet in the room. They clean the room everyday! They are very, very accommodating and friendly. This is my second time in this hotel and I think I will keep on coming back everytime I visit Seoul.

Perfect location for shopping in Myeongdong and still close via taxi or public transport to Insadong and Hongdae I stayed in a room with club lounge access and would highly recommend this. Great food and beverage selection and facilities were clean and modern Staff were so polite and welcoming and were very helpful Would definitely stay here again!

Great Hotel ”
+Its in myeongdong but away from the hustle and bustle which makes it more quiet and relaxing. Shops are walking distance . The nearby Church is also a breather . Infront, there is 711 , Starbucks, Korean eatery(underground), etc. and Paris Baguette cafe and bakery near beside the hotel. Room is big enough. Free shuttle to/and from airport and Seoul station but with a limited time schedule. I didn't bother to check train stations distance as I always ride the free shuttle to Seoul station at 11am. -it's a hit and miss when it comes to taxi going back to the hotel due to the crowd and traffic jam. You can change your pin location maybe to myeongdong cathedral and walk a bit to the hotel. It's the easiest way possible. The carpet seems stuffy but the hotel cleaned it and provided an air humidifier upon request. Overall, it is still highly recommended . The hotel price is a bit higher but you will get what you paid for.

Excellence hotel experience ”
It was my first time staying in this hotel. There are several list of great experiences I have during my 8days 7 nights stay in this hotel: 1. Accessible by nearest train in myeongdong or eulgiro (1) game exit 5. The walking distance from each subway to hotel is 10mins. 2. Best location to get cheap snacks and skincare stuffs. Next to these shops are: periot shop, Oliver & young and daiso. 3. Nearest money exchange is just behind the McDonald where it is located one building next to hotel. 4. Walking distance to Lotte shopping mall by just going straight after coming out of the hotel on the left. Takes me about 5min to reach there. 5. Hotel looks exactly same as in photos. Atmosphere is good. Although the breakfast is not cheap but at least they give 1-1 drinks at their pub at roof top. 6. Cleanliness is superb! Toiletries are well equipped 7. Room service request is fast and well received within 10mins. 8. Aircon is centralised but good enough. 9. Facilities is all in very good condition! I would give both my thumbs up for hotel stay.

Location; it’s right in the center of Myeoungdong. Shops and restaurants. Starbucks right front of the hotel Staff: very friendly. Outstanding service Facilities: very clean I’d stay here again.

Best location in myeongdong seoul”
Prefect location in Myeong-dong, just 1-2 minutes of walk will reach the heart of Seoul Shopping Streets and 30 minutes slow walk can reach Dongdaemun Market. Direct opposite the hotel, there is a 7-11 convenience store can get all your bottled water needs. There are famous Korea ginseng soup and beef Ox tail soup just opposite the hotel too. There are 2 trains stations within 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel. The head Manager of Royal Hotel Seoul assisted us (a family of 4) to change to a proper room with 1 Queen sized bed and 2 singles and even gave us free welcome drinks (orange juices) at the ground floor garden restaurant. Overall it’s a popular hotel, it’s fully booked in Oct. Tour Vehicles will find it hard to return guests back to hotel lobby at night cause majority roads will be closed for night markets. There was this one night we had to be dropped opposite the main road to walk 10 minutes in as the taxi driver can managed to drive in with all the jams.

Very Accomodating with Friendly Staff”
My husband, 19-month old daughter and I stayed at this hotel for our one-night visit in Seoul. We arrived at the hotel at 6 AM and although I wasn't expecting to get a room that early in the morning, the receptionist was able to find one and we were charged an additional prorated fee from 6AM-2 PM. The only downside was that I originally booked a king size bed room but because there wasn't one available at the time of our arrival, we were downgraded to a double bed that we had to keep for the rest of our stay. It would have been nice to have been able to switch to the king room at the original check in time but I understand why they didn't switch our room. However, the downgrade of the room did not reduce the price. We had to pay the original price + the prorate of that price even though our room ended up being smaller. The location is fantastic. Shopping was a few steps away and the bus or train stations were a few minutes walk away.

It's my 3rd trip to SoKor and staying this hotel really helped. Perfect location: near the subway, tourist spots and some of Seoul's best restaurants. Even the meeting places for some tours were just 5-10min walk too.

Hotel staff are friendly, we booked 2 rooms and one of them had some smell so they quickly upgraded us to a newer room. Location is perfect, Myeongdong shopping streets just few walking steps, yet away from the noise. Will definitely stay here again!

Smack in bustling part of Myeongdong. Less than 10mins from Airport Limousine Bus 6015 stop. Less than 10mins from Euljiro-3-ga metro station. Restaurant has reasonably good selection during breakfast. Helpful and responsive staff. Reasonably well spoken English. Would stay here again.

4 star hotel, so the value for the hotel overall is good. The hotel was close to all the attractions in Myeongdong. So close that if we had to come back to the hotel to use the bathroom, change clothes, or use it as a point of ref for the taxi or call the taxi for off Myeongdong locations. The hotel was super clean, even the lobby restrooms are clean. Just a good place to relax after shopping and eating around that busy food and shopping area. The staff was very helpfull even took my luggage cause we came in early and couldn't check in til 1400, but they eventually checked us in 20 mins prior. They also advised me to book early for the free shuttle bus to Incheon Airport. They spoke English, Chinese, and Japanese, that's good. The hotel has had everything except for a swimming pool. The restaurants are priced like a 5 stars hotel which I think is over priced, like one cake was $15 for a slice. Which you can get next door with the same quality at the Paris Baguette.for $3. What made me like the free bus shuttle from the hotel straight to both airports, it was very convenent. Book early for that at the front desk.

location was at the heart of myeongdong. very near to euljiro station and walkable distance to myeongdong station. room is veryyyy roomy. i had plenty of space to re-arrange my luggage. look no further!
