San Lorenzo hotel ”
A lovely place to stay. Staff are friendly and willing to help with anything you need! 24 hour front desk so they are always available. Location is great, right in the nightlife area of San Lorenzo but remains pretty quiet in the rooms. Neighborhood is a bit dirty but we never felt unsafe there. We were able to walk into the city about 2km, which was perfect for us with no car. Rooms are basic but clean great value for money would love to stay again :)

They allowed me to check in early because I looked extremely tired due to the night flight. I booked one double room for the 1st night and one single room for the second night and they upgraded my single room booking to a double room. Very nice hotel, clean, classic Italian decoration Downside: the window of my room is very narrow. Almost no natural light in the room by day.

Traditional and Friendly”
I honestly could not fault this hotel. This was such good value for money compared to other hotels in Rome - and unlike most 3 *** this one had outside space (out the front and a roof terrace) which is a godsend after a day of walking round the city. The rooms were of a traditional style and very clean and fresh. The air conditioning unit was quite noisy but worked fine the bathroom was functional and clean Breakfast was a buffet style and typical European fare- bread, meat, cheese, eggs, fruit, pastries, coffee etc What makes this hotel stand out for me were the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and the guys on reception were very knowledgeable about Rome The only down side was the location to the Metro which was a 20 minute walk. Although the tram stop was close. Bear this in mind if booking. But if you don’t mind walking then it’s fine. The hotel is in a residential area near the university - there is a supermarket on the corner which is handy

Příjemný pobyt v Římě/Cozy staying in Rome”
Velmi hezký útulný hotel cca 15 minut chůze od nádraží Terminy. Stylově zařízený hotelový pokoj ve kterém bylo vše potřebné. Překvapením byla krásná prostorná terasa v soukromí s výhledem do vnitrobloku. Součástí hotelu také velmi příjemné lobby a venkovní posezení. Nízká cena ve srovnání se službami, polohou a vybavením hotelu. Very nice cozy hotel about 15 minutes walk from Terminy station. Stylishly furnished hotel room with everything was needed. The biggest surprise was a beautiful spacious private terrace overlooking the courtyard. The hotel also has a very nice lobby and outdoor seating. Low price compared to the services, location and facilities of the hotel.

We spent one night here. The hotel is beautiful and our room was clean and very pretty. The desk staff was fluent in English, polite and very helpful. We had no trouble parking and walked to a nearby restaurant. They even let us leave our car while we sprinted through three tours in our one day in Rome! Overall a lovely experience.

We loved staying here and everything was excellent! Only concern of mine was the location but there is a bus stop about 6 minutes away that gets to to almost any piazza you want so it's not that bad! Definitely recommend ☺️

Oasis in Rome”
Hotel Villa San Lorenzo Maria is a beautiful place in the university area of Rome. A 20 minute walk from Termini, it is quite far from the touristy part of Rome. The area has scene better days but it wouldn't prevent me from staying there again. I would recommend this place for its quality service, decor, and rooms.

Super cute, like an Italian dream. Staff was helpful. Location isn’t great. It is a short walk to a tram stop but the surrounding area isn’t great for walking and is a decent walk from city center.

If you want a day or two to stay definitely worth the money. It has parking, bar (the staff was very kind too) little garden to sit at night... the rooms are not too modern but I liked it.

Good location close to public transport and walking distance to the sights of Rome. Oldish Villa so don't expect 5* facilities, but for the purposes of a rest while travelling all day, it's perfect

The area around the Hotel is not very nice but the Hotel itself is Great. We didn’t miss anything there and the stuff is friendly and very helpful. The all speak excellent English. I am sure wi will rerun to this hotel when in Rome.
