Great location steps from central rail station in Milan. Clean room, comfortable beds and very nice bathroom. Room was ready for us when we arrived early, after long flight and train ride in from airport. Very friendly, professional front desk staff. Surprisingly wonderful restaurant directly across the street from hotel, open all afternoon for dining before the dinner hour. Hotel and location exceeded our expectations. Would recommend for good value.

Lovely Hotel in Handy Location”
I have stayed at Hotel Garda three times. On each visit, the staff has been very friendly and efficient, and my room comfortable, attractive and most of all, Quiet!! It is close to the train station, making it extremely handy, since there is a Metro station there as well and one can reach any part of Milan in 5 or ten minutes. I always feel very welcomed at Hotel Garda, and the price is a real bargain!

Clean, great location and staff”
Got it on a super deal - happy with the affordability, personable staff and location (less than 5 mins from the train station). Bed was comfortable, the room tends to get a bit cold in the night, but I came prepared. The area outside is lively on weekends (Eatery and traffic outside) but since I travel with earplugs so was not a problem for me. I was kindly provided a kettle in asking. Perfect room for a solo traveler. Thanks!

It's very clean and very comfortable to stay here. Very peaceful place to have rest. The staff is amazing they are so polite and helpful. so I like the atmosphere here. I would love to stay here a lot, but today I need to go to my country. So if u are in Milan, don’t lose the opportunity to stay here.💫💫💫💫💫

I was looking for a hotel near to the Milan Central Station that was super-affordable and this place totally delivered. The room was very clean and welcoming and the hotel has great transport links - not only is the main train and bus station a few minutes away, so is Milan's underground system. If, like me, you choose to walk into the city centre, it's just 25 minutes away. I'd happily stay again.

Gorgeous little hotel short walk from train station. Spacious room overlooking a colourful courtyard. Comfortable large bed. Breakfast was ok. Too many cakes, biscuits and pastries. Had eggs and a little fruit. Good WiFi. Excellent reasonably priced restaurants nearby. Also a spectacular little church. Highly recommended if you’re travelling by train.

The room feels very new despite the old school decoration, very professional and friendly staff, room is spacious and comfortable. Less than 5 minutes walk from Centrale, plenty of restaurants around the hotel. Breakfast is a bit too simple for my like with many packed food. But overall can't complain the value considering the price and location.

Great hotel but...”
I have stayed at this hotel a number of times now and all has been good. On this occasion I had an important meeting the following day and travelled all day. I was tired and needed a early night. For the first time my room was on the ground floor. The noise was too much. Anyone talking near the lift or walking through reception was echoed through the hall. The noise from the bathroom next door was loud. All in all hotel is wonderful, clean and good location. Would stay again but would ask not to be on the ground floor.

I stay here in November. The hotel is very close of Central Station, about 5 min walk. The staff and the guys from reception was ok, they helped me with a PDF to print. The room, the bathroom was clean, with all staff what you need. Make clean very day in the room. The cons are that the bed make some sounds when you stay on and the wall are thin and you can hear the woman who clean the room next door at the 8 am

It’s 4 mins away from Milano centrale and subway. Value for money considering breakfast was provided (sweet pastry, bread with ham abd cheese, cereal) and we were given a room with bathtub and balcony. Although it’s considered quite a old hotel (our shower head was broken the last day), but the staffs are all friendly, house keeping was done perfectly every day. The down side will be the walls are quite thin which can hear the noise from the room. Also i feel a little insecure we have to leave the key at reception before leaving the hotel. Since the staffs can overlook the hotel guests for individual room. Overall we enjoy our stay there, definitely a good choice for budget traveller!

On a road full of hotels, both cheap and otherwise, I chose Garda because the price to quality seemed the best of the ones I'd looked at. The guy on reception was brilliant; recognised me each time I came back, and even taught me some italian to replace my atrocious attempts! Room was fine, everything clean and worked, I'd stay again any time.

I am indonesian, was looking for 1 night stay (transit) I recommend this hotel to you if you will departure/arrival from milano central. or if you need place only for sleep, since daytime you will go outside. All of the staff was very helpful, clean and complete room, heater works well, TV with english channel And they allowed to put our luggage after checkout.
