Decent value for money”

The facilities were just about okay and so was the breakfast. The staff for the most part are a great bunch, always kind and helpful. They even let us cancel our second night's reservation for free which we really appreciate. What's really lacking however is the maintenance, especially noticeable in the rooms with the wood furnishings peeling off, the cement not cleaned off after laying the panels, the quality of the finishing etc. Also one of our pillows was dirty and the sheets weren't ironed.

I would recommend this hotel to friends. The staffs are very nice and helpful. The bed is comfortable. The room is big and nice view (Superior Twin Room Ocean View). Definitely I would love to come back again.

Great location with sea view. Great comfortable room. Staff were helpful and tried their very best to help us to arrange our transportation to our destination. We truly appreciate this a lot as we could not find much information on the transportation.

Fantastic hotel for the price, ideal for day trips and cruises In halong Bay. The rooms are large well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay, the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, close to the hotel are many restaurants and bars, would definitely be staying here again.

Good views over Halong Bay”

Apart from that Halong is a fairly commercial and soulless city in Vietnam. The staff were very nice and the restaurant has an amazing Thai chef. Ask for the Thai menu - it will not disappoint. Good location if you are transferring to a Halong cruise.

Nice room and hotel, soso breakfast”

As said in other reviews: its away from the amusement park area, avoided the noise. One night we ate beside the Sunworld park, around 9pm, one restaurant started pumping out loud noise. We couldnt stand it and quickly finished and left. Glad that we didnt stay in that area. Overall good. Breakfast is fair, nothing bad but also nothing excellent. Counter is helpful, speaking good English.

Nice hotel, GREAT breakfest ”

very good for the price. great view of bridge from higher floor. A lot of hot water and tub. good HVAC system. 15-20 min walk to the start of bay area restaurants and shops. not much else near hotel except another large (more expensive) hotel. Taxi across the bridge.

Great location and value for money”

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel with friendly staff who spoke good English. Breakfast was good and amenities too except that the air-condtioner was not working well. What was also great was that it was a good distance away from all the construction activity close to Sun World Halong Park - so roads were not messy nor could one hear construction noise/activity.

There were some loud young adults on my floor that would not shut up after the hotel and I both asked them too. The hotel staff made us a cake to say sorry. I often stay here and always have a good experience. I recommend.

This hotel located in Bay Chai Halong.Very close to Bay Chai bridge.You Can enjoy the Beautiful scenery in your room.However,It is not easy to find out a restaurant near the hotel and It is far away from Halong city centre and the jetty. The service of This hotel is quite good. All the staff are Very helpful and kind.

One night stay prior to boat trip.”

We stayed one night prior to our Halong Bayboat trip. Nice hotel for a stop over. Hotel rooms are getting a little dated but still very clean and comfortable. Good wifi. Good breakfast. Staff extremely professional and friendly.

this hotel is best of best. firstly, The design is very mordern and clear. also, the room is bigger than another hotel(same size room) also, the breakfast is also very delicious. many food was prepared i want to visit one more time.

Quiet”

A very spacious hotel with friendly and efficient staff.Rooms are big with very spacious bathrooms. The baths are excellent to lie in, very European. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide range of food. They even had baked beanz, though the Asian version.In room safes were the easiest to use I have seen!

I stayed only 01 night, i booked 02 room, one for my parents and one for me with my wife and our 02 year old son. The first impression of this hotel is very good. Hotel has huge lobby, bay view, the room is really spacious Swimming pool is huge too and it has kid pool. And the hotel located in the center of the town. The hotel is worth for money. I will stay there if i come back to halong.

Magnificent View - absolutely wonderful”

This hotel is a great value. Our room was large, well appointed, with a great view of the beautiful bay. The breakfast buffet has many types of delicious food, both Western and Eastern. And the restaurant on the third floor served delicious food of all types at reasonable prices. The service was very good here. Some of the front desk staff are limited in their English language, but overall they do well. The only downside was that the internet was slow on accessing news and on accessing our business databases. However, this may be government censorship making this slow, rather than the hotel.

In Halong Bay”

This hotel is location in Halong Bay and not far from the wharf where you can take a cruise to around the main area of Halong Bay. Not far from the hotel are a few restaurants, and a small market by taxi or stroll. Other than that there is not too much around the hotel to do. The hotel is clean, great breakfast, and pool which has a light show at night. The hotel can arrange transfers from Hanoi at a little extra cost if you are making the side trip from Hanoi to see Halong Bay. I would recommend pay for the transfer, so that you do not have to worry about catching multiple buses and taxi's to/from Hanoi.
