Bella barca, camere pulite, buon cibo (per una sola notte, altrimenti si ripete). Un po’ frettolosi nei tour e senza guida. Nel complesso ci siamo trovati bene, un po’ breve il tempo che si passa sulla barca (24ore).

The cruise offering a lunch & dinner and not provide drinking water(how shame this) drinking water is a minimum eminity and need to provide when you provide a food. when we are asking about water they said "NO" and when we request anything staff response also feel disappointed.

We enjoyed the cruise, food. Thank you for arranging the flowers n cake on our anniversary. Cleanliness on the boat was impeccable. Thank s to Amie n jimmy for making our stay comfortable. Will definitely recommend to family n friends.

Simple stay”

The staff and food were OK. However, the toilet door could not be closed properly and the main light was not working. Hence, only a small dim light at the corner of the room. Overall, a simple stay.

Decent Cruise”

Nice cruise. Beautiful scenery. Food was exquisite. Staff seemed a bit uninterested at moments and overnight location a bit overcrowded. I reckon two or three days gives you a better experience from the crowds.

If you want a small group and not too mych crowd, this is perfect for you. We were only four during the trip which is really good. I got a deluxe room with balcony and floor to ceiling glass perfect for halong bay view while cruising. The staff are also nice and friendly to guests. The only problem is that aircondition only works at night, although they have a fan.

Very expensive and no worth”

We found coakrouches in our room. Staff was ok. Ceiling was leaking water to our bed. And also they charged an extra ticket that no ones pays of 30 dollar for the visit to halong. Better take another one.... it’s no worth .

Not fair service from Annam Junk staff, disappoint trip”

I wont recommend this cruise to my friends. Halong Bay is absolutely gorgeous and definitely must-see, but Annam needs some better management and procedures. Some major issues with this company are: 1) transportation from Hanoi, which is included, is incredibly disorganized, no water provide on bus, no comfortable seats on bus 2) no drinking water is provided at any time during the cruise, only 2 small water in the cruise. it must be purchased. no drinks are included at any point during the cruise other than tea/coffee at breakfast), 3) the rooms are not at all like pictured (they were however surprisingly clean) 4) The tour guide inform us that only night time then we can on our room air conditioner but when I in my room @11pm, we still unable to on our air conditioner so we go ask the staff for help.The air conditioner in our room was so loud it could not be used while trying to sleep. 5) we receive a not fair treat from the Annam staff during our dinner, He is the only waiter serve for of us. He serve 4 of us a small plate of fried rice portion for one person only. However others tables guest fried rice is enough for 4 persons. When I ask for more rice then the way he asking me very rude: why I got not enough fried rice??? The staff only like Europeans guest and they serve them very well. All in all, I feel like Annam was misleading in their services and inclusions and would not recommend them

Satisfactory trip”

I've been to Ha Long Bay three times and this boat was the nicest one I've been on but it was not worth how much we paid. Be advised that in addition to the price you pay online, you are also required to pay an additional $20USD upon arrival for entrance into the bay. This reservation is only for the facilities and services on the boat. Regardless of which boat you decide to go on, the views of the bay will be spectacular.

Good for family or group trip in Halong Bay”

Everything was as described. The boat is comfortable for overnight stay. The tour guide is friendly and the food is simple but nice. Have to wait quite long for the mini bus to return back to Hanoi due to traffic.

Sewage smell in the cabin and bad food. ”

Weird food in very poor amount, not local one, but not European either, something what they think Europeans will like. Sewage smell in the cabin! Disgusting! Transfer bus from Hanoi was uncomfortable. The boat was booked at agoda.com and the price was excluded the Halong bay tickets, the guide at the boat asked to pay 20$ per person, meanwhile the tickets he showed to us were about 50000 VND only!!! Halong bay is interesting place to visit, but the experience with this boat was completely disappointing.

We booked and payed it at agoda and the pictures there were amazing and very beautiful and for us it was very important to have a old typical sail like of the pictures as we booked it. But as we arrived at the ship there were no sail and the rooms were very old and there bathroom had a lot of lecks to outside and broken architecture. The food and the daytrips are very good

Lucked out”

They arranged for a pickup from our hotel in Hanoi which was very convenient. Checking in and checking out took too long with a lot of waiting around. But I suppose it was to get the rooms ready for the next round of passengers. We booked the junk for two nights and ended up having it all to ourselves on the second night. It was very relaxing and enjoyable. Our guide was great and spoke English fairly well. The food was decent albeit a little salty. The activities on the second day were well worth it. Our group had only 6 ppl and we kayaked for about an hour total in complete isolation and spend another hour on a private beach. It wasn't a luxury junk but we were in our rooms only to change and sleep so it was totally worth it. Halong bay is beautiful and he Annam Junk was perfect for our party of three.

Halong Bay experience”

Halong Bay is an amazing place and a must visit for tourists. The positives are the activities organised on the trip - visit to TiTop island and the climb to the top of the rock, the visit to the cave, kayaking, swimming offf the boat, visit to the pearl farm and cooking class. The crew and guide were the saving grace of the trip - they were very nice. The second day we felt was just a repeat of the first and there should have been a different cooking class from the first night's. The cleanliness of the cabin is wanting, the airconditioner can only be turned on at night after dinner, making staying in the room very uncomfortable, toilet doesn't flush well and the shower is a trickle most of the time. The departure from the boat and the arrival of the coach should be better synchronised to avoid the long wait in the heat of the seating area in the marina. The airconditioning in the coach provided on the return journey was not working very well making the 4-hour road trip very uncomfortable. Furthermore the driver just dumped the hard luggage on top of the soft luggage ripping our 1-year old luggage in the process. All in all I would rate Annam Junk a C and wouldn't recommend it to others.

Less than expected ”

It was my second time in Halong bay, it is an amazing place to go, but this time they asked me (when arrived) to pay extra 20 usd per person per night as a ticket to go into the boat... Honestly it is ridiculous.... I am ok to pay and honestly Halong bay is worth to it but should be informed earlier ( when made the booking) not just when got in there!!! And since when this new rule is applied if one year ago i been there with another company and this ticket was not necessary???
