Bellissima crociera con "Halong Galaxi Cruise"”

E' stata bellissima la crociera con Galaxi nella baia di Halong. La nave offre confort e intimità, le cabine sono solo 9, grandi ed eleganti. L'equipaggio è super! Ragazzi giovani, gentili e disponibili. La consigliamo senza riserve!!

A great choice for the budget traveller. Cruise ship was not very big but rooms were comfortable and food were great. Met a lot of friendly people on board too!

Outstanding Staff, You Get Your Money's Worth”

Our tour guide was Viet. Picked us up promptly from our hotel without any hiccups. Contacting the cruise prior for a ride service was a bit difficult. However, they will contact you a couple days prior. Get your money's worth for the cruise. Good food, great itinerary. Perfect amount of days (2 days/1 night). Room was good, bathroom/shower was ok. You get what you pay for. Found 2 bugs on board. Not a big deal. Again, you get what you pay for. Overall good experience. Would recommend for budget conscious traveler/couples.

Clean and comfortable boat - the crew provided fresh and delicious meals! All activities were well planned - there were learning experiences with the historical sights and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the sun deck!

We were late for departure but the crews and guest are so kind to wait for our arrival! That's so sweet and kind of them! We can't thank more! They have all the services you can think of and good wine! So pleasure and lucky to have all of them in our trip to HalongBay. And the tour guide has good humour, such hilarious person.

Not quite 2 days as stated”

We took a two day/ 1 night cruise. Not quite, we were on the boat for a total of 23hours and another 2 of them we spent docked. The second day lunch was served at 10.45am when no one was really hungry and then we sat at the dock for 1 hour to eat it before we got off. The staff/tour guide, food, amenities were all fabulous, the boat was very nicely presented and clean. Overall we had a brilliant time but I think it's quite expensive for just 1 night and not many hours sailing. We think you could get a very similar experience for cheaper as all other boats docked in the same place and did the same activities.

I will said the tour guide name :Hung" is very good, good service from him. The meals was so nice. They will pick up you from old quarter zone, and you can just enjoy the trip and leave everything to your tour guide. We went kayaking and cave exploring. nice trip! most importantly, you must met a good tour guide to take care everything.

Great day- not great weather”

We had a great time at Halong bay, however if we knew the weather would be bad we maybe wouldn't have spent the money staying on the over night boat. During the night there was a huge storm which really freaked me out and it ruined the second day for me because I was so tired! I know that no one can help the weather but I wished we checked before hand because I don't feel it was worth nearly 200 pounds for the trip! We also has to pay 25 USD each for pick up and drop off which I hoped was included in the price! The activities are fun however the 'hike and swim' wasn't what I was expecting! It was very packed and the water which was cornerd off for swimming was dirty and smelt like wee! It was full of people and wasn't the picturesque image I had before we got there! My group did a mini version of Halong bay which is a day trip from Hanoi. It is on a river and you get to have and hour and a half boat trip on a tiny little rowing boat for two (extremely romantic) then bike ride for about 40 mins. We also went to an old temple and had lunch near by! Very good food!! This was all included in the price along with pick up and drop off! The day trip cost us 20 pounds each!!!! It was awesome! Myself and my partner wish we didn't go to Halong bay now because it was so expensive and we enjoyed the other trip better! I don't want to sound too negative because it was a good trip! If the weather was better, transfers included and if their wasn't so many tourist we would feel a lot better about the trip. BEST PART OF THE TRIP WAS THE TOUR GUIDE TOM! HE WAS FANTASIC!

Food was great and staff super friendly! The cabins were super nice and the boat looked in great condition way much better than most of the other boats. I definitely recommend it!

Halong Bay overnight cruise”

Unfortunately I developed food poisoning while on this cruise and I was very ill for many hours overnight. I was very grateful that Tom, our tour guide, let me remain in the room until the boat docked the following day. Tom was a very good guide and the tour was well organised.

Amazing trip, but bring your own drinks..”

Overall the trip was great, watching the sunset from the deck of the boat was worth the money alone. The boat and its bedrooms are beautiful and the bay is absolutely incredible. Kayaking around the bay is one of the standout moments of our month in Vietnam. The staff are friendly and the guide spoke really good English. The food is quite good and they happily accommodate any dietary requirements which is a big plus. The only real issue for us was the drinks situation. The drinks on board are massively over priced for Vietnam (not just alcohol but water, coke etc) and it felt as if we were being conned out of money at every meal. For example, you're never given a menu for your drinks but if you do track one down the prices in it don't include VAT, so at the end of the trip your bill will be even more than you're expecting. The staff also offered drinks as if they were included in your meal, for example asking if you'd prefer coffee or tea after lunch, and then adding them to your tab after you'd finished. I do appreciate we could have asked if it was included at the time, but it was the way it felt like they were tricking you that bothered me more than the money. That being said, don't let that stop you going on this trip - it really was amazing! Spending 3 days in Halong Bay is one of the most memorable things I've done backpacking and I would recommend it to anyone, just remember to bring your own water..

Our stay was great. Staff were amazingly gorgeous and friendly, couldn't do enough. Our tour guild Tom kept us always informed of the history and happy to have a chat, he was fantastic. Food was good in fact too much every meal, but then they kept us busy with activities thankfully to help work it off. Wish them all the very best.

Sejour tres agreable La cuisine est copieuse et delicieuse. le guide est tres sympathique et attentionne. le seul regret esdt le manque d activites, il y a des temps morts a bord. Il faudrait pouvoir profiter d,une plage et randonner un peu sur un ilot.
