Emmaus Hotel is located at the center and the closest hotel to the Vatican entrance, the hotel is literally a few steps away from St. Peter's Basilica. St. Peter's Square at night is very beautiful, and there are almost no people walking around at night, you can take pictures and just admire the beauty of the Vatican at night. The hotel is very very clean, place is quiet, you can sleep and rest peacefully when you get tired from the tour. There is a lift or elevator, this is a big plus especially when you have luggage. There is also an AC on the room, this is a must because it was very very hot on the summer. The hotel room that we booked, 4 beds, we really big and spacious. A great view! There are also good restaurants nearby, we are from the U.S. and we think that the food are a little bit expensive, average good meals are around 15 Euros. Water in Rome is very clean, you can literally drink from the fountains around the city. You need to prepare to walk to enjoy the city!

Staff very friendly.. credit for Jimmy because he very helpful and very kind person, all information he give us clear and very good personality.. room very clean, breakfast was good.. place is really near in duomo Cathedral is easy for wheelchair person or old people.. just walk for 5min you will Arrived there.. recommended to all my friend and will come back one day.. love emmaus hotel

Excellent location near Vatican City”
Small but clean and comfortable room with four single beds. Awesome for me and my three adult children. Can't beat the location near Vatican City. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Great hotel...5 minute walk to St. Peter’s Square, the staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is good...wonderful croissants...delicious gelato directly across from it! I would definitely stay there again if ever in Rome in the future!

Very nice gotel”
We arrived in Rome coming from florence and the hotel was an easy bus ride from the terminal and kust a stone throw away from the vatican. athe hotel is not centrally located which i prefer but still very accessible to all major tourist spots. The room was small just like most hotels in rome in its class. The staff are very helpful and restaurants and convenience store are conveniently located outside the hotel. One small improvement they should consider is electric kettle in the room but for the rest, it was an excellent stay for us.

The hotel is very close to Vatican, but is very silent. The breakfast was good. And nearby there is a big 24hours carrefour. It will take 10 minutes to the metro and 20 minutes to the airport shuttle bus.

Short vacation in Rome - Location is good”
I would recommend this hotel. Very convenient, so many restaurants, souvenir shops, convenient stores and very close to St. Peter Square. One of the staff is Filipino, very friendly. The other staff is Italian, not good in English.. Breakfast is good. I will definitely book this hotel again. Thanks to Emmaus we had a wonderful stay in Rome.

Basic but good”
Emmaus hotel is a basic, dated hotel. But, staf is friendly, beds are good, breakfast is nice and rooms are quiet. For us it was a perfect base for a 4 day trip to Rome.

Good place to stay in Vatican”
Bus stop near hotel. Walking distance to Vatican. Breakfast was good. Room is good space but we were only given 2 bottles of water on Friday day even if we paid for 4 pax and stayed for 4 days.

Great location if the main part of your trip is to visit the Vatican. Very close to line 64 that takes you through most major piazzas within 15 minutes. The receptionists were very nice and helpful. The included breakfast hit the spot.

Did not get a good sleep at all”
Pros: stone throw away from the vatican (only) Do not stay at room 305 - got it recorded even, how the room can get so noisy when someone’s taking a shower or flushes the toilet we cant really sleep and this was past 11pm. Advised the staff (italian guy) at the reception in the morning and was told lines like “I cannot change the world, i cannot change the weather”, “what do you expect this is a hotel”. I wasnt even asking for a change of rooms, told him i just want to inform him yet get these sarcastic comments, wouldve been better if he was empathetic.

Good location and good service except for the receptionist Francesca ”
Our experience in this hotel was good except for the lady receptionist named Francesca who was very unpleasant rude and unhelpful. In contrast to the two other receptionists names cory and Angelo. They were very helpful and professional. Francesca is a disgrace to the hotel industry

Un po’ datato ma … strategico!”
Non lasciatevi ingannare dall’aspetto un po’ ‘démodé’ delle camere … hanno tutto ciò che serve. Buona la prima colazione, ma soprattutto la posizione è spettacolare! A 250 m dal colonnato del Bernini … due minuti a piedi e sei in San Pietro! Poi i ragazzi della reception sono gentilissimi … consigliatissimo! 🤩

La posizione è ottima, accanto a San Pietro, il personale di reception davvero cortese e piacevole. Colazione in parte servita, in parte a buffet, buona e abbondante. La camera quadrupla (abbiamo soggiornato in 2adulti+2bambini) spaziosa e i servizi pulitissimi. Accanto c’è anche una osteria molto buona. Non possiamo che consigliare vivamente questo hotel, ci torneremo sicuramente.

Albergo modesto…molto pulito e il titolare di una gentilezza infinita…comodo al centro con il bus 64 o superato San Pietro (lo avete a 300mt) c’è la metropolitana ottaviano …consigliatissimo!

Hotel ottimo per posizione bar ,ristoranti , tabacchi , panifici , mezzi pubblici, cinesi e blanga attorno frigo cassetta di sicurezza Prese Americane L’unica cosa che può dar fastidio è che poco insonorizzato
