Benefits of staying on front beach are proximity to ferry terminal, you can walk to hotel in 10 minutes , and you are close to restaurants and other things in Vung Tau town. Hotel has 3 sections, the reception building has the restaurant, which is fine, and is a brisk walk from street, but they have a golf cart to transport you up and down. Pool is great , located near bottom of property, very small fitness room, but Ill take the pool any time. Place is spotless and they clean your room every morning. Breakfast is very Vietnamese, but they have omlettes, fruit, bread and strong coffee. Bathrooms in main building are modern and rooms with balconies have great view of front beach area. You are quiet yet close enough to things. Renting a scooter at front desk helps with the hill. Great place.

Pretty good ”

It’s really nice, all the equipments work pretty well, they speak English well and are pretty helpful. I enjoy the breakfast pretty much, as well as the swimming pool! The hotel is near the sea so we got to have a fantastic walk along the sea in the morning. Everything perfect and well worth the price :)

Room with view.”

The name of the hotel is a little misleading, but it was clear by the pictures that it was back up the hill and not on the beach. We received a room on the 4th floor that offer a nice view of the water. We paid a little more because of the weekend. The room was spacious and comfortable. The patio was pleasant and offered a relaxing spot the watch the sunset. Breakfast was the buffet style as usual. The powdered coffee did not go well with the rest of the breakfast but it seems the standard way to serve coffee in this type of hotel. We rented a motorbike so the hill climb to the lobby was not an issue. They also have a golf cart if you need assistance from the street level. Overall, I would stay here again.

Excellent value for money”

Came here midweek and enjoyed lower prices plus the pool all for myself most of the time. Very friendly receptionist. Nice room but ageing. Housekeeping could improve on shower cabins and bedsheets. Reception is up the hill so make the taxi drive up there.

Great and we enjoyed the stay”

The reception helps us to arrange for motorbike rental at 150k dong/day. The swimming pool is very nice. Breakfast is simple but it's okay. The location is great since we have motorbikes to get around the city. The bed is old and it is not comfortable. The bathroom has some toilet mold. Overall, it is satisfying. We will try another hotel on our next visit to Vung Tao

Fantastic hotel, checked in early with no problem. Staff spoke English, room was big, clean and airy. Bed was really comfortable and Had a fantastic view from our room. Swimming pool was great too, clean and staff on hand. We would definitely stay here again! ★★★★★

Fourth visit to Vung Tau . This is a good area to stay, not noisy but no beach, it's ok bcs the pool is great. My room facing the sea is great. The kids love the pool. The staff is helpful and the breakfast is simple local spread. The distance to the famous Thanh Phat seafood is about 15mins away, anyway the metered taxi is cheap to go everywhere. The cable car station to Hoi May park is within walking distance. 300vnd for cable car ride and amusement park game for free is worth a visit for family with kids. Highly recommend, keep it up.

Great hotel, needs some help”

The staff were good, impossible to order room service due to poor menu, they need to number the items on the menu it would make it so much easier. That's my only complaint everyone and everything was excellent

I found this hotel quiet and clean. Staffs were very kind so I was satisfied with their service. There were no shops and a few restaurants around the hotel but the hotel rest, cafe, and spa. The pool was good to swim. If you want stay in the room and take enough rest then this is the hotel for you.

Hotel local restaurant is average but better lunch than in the city. Cab service can be arranged from hotel. Next door cafe is outstanding for coffee or tea break due to beach view and extensive menu. Hotel is fine pick. Not a beach area but good view of the sea. However, nothing much to do in Vung Tau. Hotel is very good to stay otherwise.

Good location by the sea. Staffs are helpful. Although the price was not very cheap, cleanness, amenity are ok and endurable. But noise from hallways and next doors disturbing me a good rest. Also, there are variety of Vietnamese food and almost no other food for international.

Unfortunately the coffee was terrible at breakfast. If half the guests are western the coffee on offer should reflect that.

Great views and very old school feel”

Room was very spacious, a bit old but the place in general had a nice ambience. The buffet was limited but what they had was good and it was very spacious. Staff were very friendly. Best thing is the resort is very scenic and in close proximity to the waterside restaurants.

Very old hotel ”

Hotel is old, seems long time they have not done any renovation. During weekday is very empty. Staffs are not very enthusiastic. We checked out just alittle late they also charged 20% surcharge. Other hotels I stay they would not charge unless we stay until 2.00pm.

A Problem Resolved”

I booked a room here online and was led to believe the room was a double occupancy with a single queen size bed. When I got to the hotel, I was taken to a room with 2 twin beds. I was quite disappointed about this, and complained to the front desk about it. The woman at the desk called her manager and said they would give me a new room in the morning if I would take the one offered that night. This was not a satisfactory solution to me and I asked to speak to the manager myself, which I did. After a little bit of back and forth and about 15 minutes of waiting, I was given a good room and a nice complimentary bottle of red wine for my trouble. I was totally satisfied and would like to thank the manager, Mr. Thinh, for his good service.

Hotel itself was nice , our room was big and comfortable, was unhappy that we was made to pay extra $10Aust per night for the children , i booked 2 rooms for 2 adults and 1 child in each , they class children ad under 6 [ what crap ] . Secondly breakfast is catered for asian guests only plenty of noodles, spaghetti etc , all there was for me was fried eggs , toaste and fruit , the need to cater also for western tastes. Milk for coffee/tea was only sweetened condensed milk and as a diabetic meant black coffee only. Would i stay there again ??? Yes probably as we loved the big pool

Great location if visiting the cable car/ecopark”

We had an amazing stay here. Staff were helpful as can be considering English was not their first language. We were a little way from the main beach but the hotel offers tandem bikes at $1 an hour which allowed my family and I to have a fun cycle to the beach. A must to do to make the kids tired for bed. We were a walking distance from the cable car/eco tourist park which was fun for the kids. We had so much fun in Vung Tau that we overstayed our checkout. The cleaning lady had no problem. We just left her a nice little tip. The rooms were very spacious and after the kids were asleep, my partner and I was able to take a nice walk along the quiet promenade with the sound of the waves crashing and the sea breeze blowing behind us. If you are the manager and you are reading this, please compliment your staff. We had a wonderful experience here.
