Friendliest owner ever, soo helpful and warm. Only a few metres away from the beach, restaurants and shops are in walking distance, too and the bus stops right infront of the accommodation but noise is no problem at all

Not often I would leave a review but the owner here merits a positive note; very helpful from the moment we arrived, arranging (free) transport for us to Oslob Centre, perhaps a 15 minute walk away, and done this on several occasions and able to offer good recommendations for food when we asked. She helped us with our whale shark activities for the following morning, where the owner and husband take you there, book you in and wait and take you back. Couldn’t fault this. The property is maybe 20 minute drive from the whale shark area but they arranged everything for the morning so this is not an issue. The owner helped us with our onward journey, driving us to Santander port as we wished to go to Siquijor next, which was done for a very reasonable 500 pesos for the two of us. Thank you! Otherwise the accommodation is clean, basic and value for money.

The immediate surrounding area has very little and just off the main road. There was a sea view from our room but not really any beach to speak of. Also worth noting there is very little in Oslob itself either, so a stay of a few nights is suffice.

Whales shark tour but no explanation before as we need to arrive early and do 2hours line to be the first. Half assistance paying (include transport) on the day in fact.

Very disappointed ! I don’t understand why this note so positive. I trust it to choice it even I find one other the same price but private room. Here it’s in rooftop no air con just ventilator (noisy so turn off in night) and only the strict minimum to sleep, futon. Plug but high and no table to put phone or some staffs. And bathroom it’s only toilet (flush doesn’t walk) and because they don’t show me the place I didn’t know the shower was down (outside far of the dormitory) and because in some country it’s only « shower » with bucket I did in late night. And in the morning I told them about not really shower and said they have outside and blame me and effrayés about inondation even I said it was not the case because I did very shortly water and quickly. And they blame again because I just say something about assistance paiement about their whale shark tour, they did but I did the job too as I did the line for 11 peoples (the clients of theirs friends and cousins) and the explanation it was during the line and not the day before when I booked and they have late to leave. And no kitchen (even no boil oil or fridge or oven so nothing)even it’s description. They said yes when I asked and show me but kitchen was not really possible to use and bed inside of kitchen for their worker. and the common room inside it’s only the desk office and shop. Yes terrasse (with no roof) nice but when you need to charge phone you need to go inside even not a lot of plugs and not practical ! NO ACCEPT CREDIT CARD no practical when it’s some important mount to pay the tour and no international atm close (MasterCard, visa maybe) and we went to expensive atm as no only fees but rates very high. It’s beach close as I heard the vague. This sound it’s good but when no dogs screams and moto and truck pass so all noise of street !!! And coq from 3am !!!! The location for me it’s really no good in middle of nowhere except in 10 min walk some little shops and restaurants some still cheap !

There is a common area but with bamboo banks. Not really a place to chill and relax where you can lay or something.

Very friendly and hospitable owners, clean room with a balcony and view on the sea. You can buy whale shark watching tour in their place that is highly recommended.

The owner is friendly , they are eaay to talk and patient . though their Tourism project is a little expensive than other's , they will offer more to make your trip easy and comfortable

The room ,I can't believe that it's a good hotel because the room is sooooooo primitive，there are just a few furnitures like bed, fan, aircondition(if you need you must pay more 200P or they will cut the electricity ), and...no more! After check in I felt terrible and wanna to1 ask for a refund and leave to find other hotel . The owner told us they can only refund 70% for me .Because it's hard to find other vacant rooms, I decided to stay. After that, I am not a man who can't fall asleep usually but at that day I can't sleep because of the ants on the bed, the noisy aircondition , and the bad smiled Bedsheets quilt. so that. I can just go to see the sharking with tired. And DO NOT BOOK IT AT SUNDAY because it will hold a cockfighting competition nearby

I reserved a triple and a deluxe for 5. I stayed in the deluxe and found the amenities to be just right. Working fridge and cold AC is a good start. Hot showers were definitely a plus. The hosts were very hospitable and their ride during one of the days were extremely helpful.

Triple did not have a fridge. Triple shower is closer to the bathroom door than commode. Typical Philippine bathroom (wet floors).

NOTHING There is no reason to stay here that I can think of..

Location right next to a busy road so difficult to sleep if you are used to traffic noise this may not be a problem...Cheaper rooms only have cold shower although this not mentioned on booking .com...Bedding was old they need to buy new sheets..No towels we had to ask..no toiletries provided for the first time of budget accommodation in phillipines on a 3 month trip...We checked out a day earlier and we're refused any money back even though we paid cash at the hotel .owner saying that booking.com would not allow her to give the refund for one night..We left any way rather than stay another night.Never had this issue before when checking out early..Owner not very nice just intrested in your money and the hard sell of the whale shark trip.

The stay is basic for one or two night . Cold water , fan and no bunkers . Very quiet and peaceful . Shower room is not that clean but can’t complain . The best part of the stay is the staff . There was this person named “jun” who was the sweetest and highly patient man I have ever met . Awesome guy .

staff is awesome, especially kuya Jun. He will make you feel at home and will help you out with your whale shark tour, falls and anything else you want. Also the owners, even if we haven't met them personally, are great. They have answered all our questions in just a click and were checking everyday on us if evertyhing was ok. will advise to our friends!

The owner tried to charge me more with a room upgrade "with air-con". I refused and still received a room with air-con. Seem that he just tried to get more money from me. A room full of ants, very thin walls.
