Great location, rooms somewhat dated ”

Stayed one night before a cruise. Hotel is only minutes from the terminal at Port Canaveral so it was ideal. Even though it was Daytona 500 weekend and the place was full, the noise was very reasonable . Staff at both check in and check out were quick and efficient. Beach restaurant was a pleasant surprise and served us very good food at reasonable prices. We didn't avail ourselves of any of the on site amenities but the pool appeared nice. Being able to go for a walk on Cocoa Beach before breakfast was an excellent way to start the day. The rooms are a bit tired , but everything worked and we had a good nights sleep which is really all we were after. I would recommend the Oceanfront Palms as a great place to base a Cocoa Beach stay.

Villa upgrade for birthday”

We had a one day reservation and then at a later date made a 2 day reservation with Kayak extending our stay to 3 days. When we arrived early and I explained to Sharon that my wife had booked the first night for my birthday. Later we were able to get off work for the next 2 days and we extended our stay with Kayak. I asked if we could just get a parking pass. She said sure and that she could not only check us in now for the same room for 3 days and she was going to upgrade us to a villa for my birthday! We really appreciated it! We stay there often and we think it’s the best value and location at Cocoa Beach. Thanks Sharon!

Excellent”

Great location in Cocoa. Price is comparable and fair with area rates when working on stretching out your money. Staff is friendly and helpful to get you what you need. However, there are a couple of cons. 1) The shower holds the water you are using and collects at bottom of bathtub - not draining out properly - so you might be standing in it as you shower. 2) There was a slight insect problem - where Nats (little fruit flies) were endlessly coming from somewhere - I believe the bathroom. Not sure this is true for all rooms but something to look for. Overall good stay for the price.

I enjoyed my time at the international palms resort. The pool was my favorite, i loved how big it was and how you could rent tubes/floats. The splash bar was awesome. I also liked mambos restaurant, it was cool that it was right on the beach. The only thing i would say is i think it is time for the rooms to be renovated. Ours had mold in bathroom and I’m walls, but overall for the amount of time spent in the room it was good.

Absolutely beautiful and enjoyable ”

This place has it all. Pools, volleyball, shuffleboard, cornhole, food, drinks, beach rentals and plenty of rooms with beach views. They even upgraded us for free for our daughters birthday with a beach side room. The staff was amazingly friendly. Lots of amenities including breakfast buffets and shopping across the street. We will definitely be staying here again. If I could rate 6 stars, I would.

They have a kiddie water park, deep pool, jacuzzi, breakfast buffet, surfboard station, gift shop, and a restaurant/bar. The bathrooms and rooms are clean and no carpet (Hooray!). Very close to the beach!!! We will be coming back to this one.

Great amenities ”

We enjoy staying at this hotel only because of the great amenities they have. My 2 younger boys love the pools, especially the pirate ship. There are 2 Bars on the property, one by the pool and the other closer to the beach which is open later. There is a great place with fire pits for Smores that can be purchased from the Bar by the ocean as well which is a lot of fun. We were a little disappointed in the quality of the room. We were only there to sleep though so it wasn't that big of a deal. If your looking for a room to grab some rest after playing at the beach and pool all day, then this is your place! Staff is always so friendly and their willing to check you in early if the room is available.

Weekend in Cocoa”

Pros: close to the beach, pool, pool/play area for smaller children, pool is heated, towels provided, multiple areas for activities. The room was pretty good size. Had the basics: clean bed, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer. After check out (11am) you can stay on the property a little longer and use the pool. They have an access card for the pool area. Cons:The outside of the buildings look rundown, the floor in our room wasn't cleaned well (one of the wet towels fell on the floor and the amount of dirt it picked up was surprising.), children's area is not supervised at all. We had a few bigger kids playing rough in an area that was supposes to be for 2-6 year olds. I had to really guard my little one (2 years old) from being pushed and shoved by the older kids or not letting him have his turn on the slide.

Great family weekend getaway!”

The price was great for a beachfront stay. There was a fun kids splash play area, as well as a huge pool for everyone. There was an arcade room, alligator tank in the lobby with a gift shop. The restaurant, Mamba's, was great with a live band and firepit areas with s'mores. The room was sufficient for what we needed at this price range. The only thing that could use an upgrade is the buffet breakfast for $12.95 with cold generic pans of food. This hotel was in a great location and only a few miles from Ron John's also. we will definitely visit here again!

Great for the Space Coast Marathon”

Room is reasonably priced and reasonably clean. Amenities are very nice, and you can easily walk to the beach. This is the first drop off point on bus B, which is very convenient.

The location and price were the deciding factors to stay at the International Palms. The bed was clean, but the floors left our feet dirty... The toilet did not flush well, took three flushes to wash down toilet paper. The location wins and would probably stay again pre cruise as this stay was. Restaurant on site was good, very friendly staff.

College Orgy Party”

Timing is everything. We stayed at Palms Oceanfront in early January when the facility was overrun by a college-aged orgy party. If I was younger, I may have enjoyed the topless women making-out with each other in the pool, the smell of pot seeping into our motel room along w/ loud music & obnoxious atmosphere that made my college parties 20 yrs ago look like tea parties. Unfortunately, I was with my wife and 2 teenage daughters. What topped it off, was a trip to the laundry room to retrieve 2 loads of laundry. As I removed my daughter's undies from the dryer, I heard 4 over-aged boys making sexual noises behind me. Grow up….One of my daughters is 13 yrs old you sicko! Fortunately, the motel night manager was empathetic and went out of her way to find a different motel for us to stay. Kudos to her, but what was this resort thinking? Apparently this group brings in $2 million each yr during their stay. If that is the case, close the resort to the general public!

Nice little place, to check out the vaves on the beach. The resort has seen better days, however still a good time. Recommend the loft if option is available.

Pros was location and friendly atmosphere for kids close to the beach access. Cons as a family you want to be safe the door key latch was not fully secured to the door so we had issues closing and opening. Refrigerator was out when we arrived but was changed quickly.

This use to be a wonderful young themed resort. Obvious it’s last summer before closing . Still well worth the hugely discounted price. Jacuzzi & bar/restaurant closed- ghost town feel but spring breakers will love the cheap price & bring it to life. Doesn’t seem bad enough to bulldoze..it will be missed.

This place is cheaper than most on Cocoa Beach, and it is well-located. Apart from that there is nothing that I can recommend about it. It is old, and in desperate need of renovations. In my room the electric socket was falling out of the wall and the A/C unit was extremely loud. The facilities (eg gym and pool) are very very old. Feels like it hasn't had renovations for 20+ years. The staff were very friendly, but first they told me I had breakfast included (when I didn't) and then they incorrectly locked me out of my room because they thought that my reservation had finished (when I had one night left). I saw several people come to front desk to complain that their key-card didn't work. The breakfast was also disappointing. Overall I would not recommend this place unless you really just want the cheapest option.

Will return again ”

Even though the hotel is a little “tired” in its appearance, it has a beachfront location including a large heated pool . It is close to restaurants and walkable to many of them. Our room was well laid out, and very clean, and the staff was pleasant and addressed our requests in a timely fashion. In fact, we extended our stay here.

Location was perfect! We really enjoyed all the amenities and Ron Jon is right down the street. The rooms were in need of some updating and were run down. However, we’d book again because you can’t beat the price for the location and everything else it has to offer! We had a great time.
