Budget Friendly and great location”

I enjoyed my stay at Ibis Kuala Lumpur City Centre. The best thing about the hotel was their swimming pool at the rooftop which offers a great view. The breakfast they served was really good in taste but it would be great if they can add a few Indian breakfast items to the buffet (just a suggestion).

Ibis, Kuala Lumpur ”

Really enjoyed our time in the Ibis. Stayed here for 3 nights and found that it was a great location to explore the city. The room was great with amazing views of the Petronas Towers, a large comfortable bed and a powerful shower. The facilities were also very good, especially the swimming pool overlooking the city. The only downside to this is that it was always fairly busy. The Ibis offered a free shuttle, however the walk into the centre was only around 15 minutes. We found that the only downside to our stay was the breakfast. As this is such a large hotel, we found that the breakfast could have had a larger selection and should have had a larger area as it got a little crowded when going up to get food in the mornings. With that being said, I'd higher recommend the Ibis if you're looking for a hotel with offers both a good location and a comfortable stay.

Good location”

The hotel situated middle of KL city centre. 15 mins walk to KLCC. Surrounding have restaurants. Not on busy road. The room is spacious and clean with views. The swimming pool quite small than I expect. Quite different from what I see on the pics. I was having problem with their room card. Unable to tap the lift to go up and enter the room for few times during my 3 days stay. I have to come forth back to front desk to change room card and the front desk always occupied with many people. I had to wait in long queue, just to change room card for few times. That is not so convenient and not efficient. Otherwise, everything was ok for me.

Pool, parking garage, majestic views”

Ibis decided their KL hotel is Asia's flagship hotel. So much that you get covered parking, an infinity pool, ceiling to floor windows with a metropolis view (you can see Petronas Towers). Memory foam bedding, pillows, drinks chiller, glass bathroom. All for a fuss-free value for money price. However, it's only situated in an upmarket district (KLCC vicinity), cab ride needed to the mass market shopping belt Bukit Bintang.

Great value for money ”

It was a very right choice! Stayed in the hotel for 2 nights ，absolutely satisfied with everything. The girl at the reception was very kind and agreed to offer a room with an amazing view to Petronas towers, though we were have to wait for a little while for it to be cleaned. Nice pool on the high floor with a city view, free welcome drinks in the lobby, 5 min walk to towers. In general, Ibis hotel is a great place to stay , especially good for not too high price. Will definitely reccomend this hotel.

Loved our stay at Ibis KL. The hotel was clean, tidy and well maintained, the pool was great, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is within walking distance of KLCC. The only thing missing was room service (which the hotel does not offer), but given how great everything else is, it's a minor inconvenience. Overall, would highly recommend Ibis to anyone visiting KL. 9/10!

Perfect location!”

Our second trip to KL and we were pleased with the facilities the hotel provides. All areas including breakfast, rooms and amenities were very much basic but well maintained given that it’s a new hotel. The only disappointment was that we were not able to see any fireworks during the coutndowna the hotels bar on the 31st floor. I think the hotel didn’t know as well that it would not be able to view any fireworks till the countdown happened. Apart from that, the location was relatively near to KLCC (7 mins walk) and the hotel provides a shuttle bus to various locations which I thought was very efficient. The breakfast spread was basic but good and they had fresh pastries baked through out which was impressive. The skyline was awesome from the restaurant and I had enjoyed my morning breakfast with a view of KLCC. The hotel does have a class of its own. Overall, 8/10. Would come back here again.

Best location”

Ibis hotel is relatively new and clean with 10mins walking distance from KLCC, they even provide shuttle bus service (but not very punctual). Rooftop pool has spectacular view of KLCC. Hotel room was very spacious and clean!

Value for money!”

Great room with friendly staff. The first room that we were given smells of cigarette smoke even though it is a non-smoking room. I hope the management can take a firmer stance against smoking in the room. We informed the staff and we were able to change our room immediately. Gym on the top floor overlooks the city which is really nice. Pool is nice but smaller than expected. Hotel located about 10 mins walk from KLCC.

Ibis klcc is about 10 minutes walk from Petronas, they have one way free shuttle to klcc and Bukit Bintang 5x a day. The room not too spacious but clean. Love the view of KL city from the room window.

Very nice ibis hotel. about 750m from KLCC . But no food around, if looking for supper or drinks.

The view from the infinity pool is a MUST! Being able to walk back and forth from Suria KLCC/Petronas Towers was also a huge plus. There are also plenty of banks with global ATMs near the hotel, so getting cash was really convenient. The breakfast is kind of cheap quality, but it's a budget hotel, so. (Also, they don't provide shampoo or conditioner. There's a Watsons down the block where you can buy some travel-sized bottles for cheap, but it might be best to bring your own.)

Very clean hotel. Didn’t manage to get a queen size bed as booked and was offered singles which I didn’t mind. Wasn’t entirely sound proof but wasn’t that bad. The only thing is that the carpark turning is really narrow and the toilet suction produce a smell. Overall it’s a great place to stay. Within 10m drive from city center/Pavillion mall/KLCC etc.

Be sure to put total number of pax when doing the booking. It is so funny when usually by default hotel will provide 2 breakfast for each room. Different case with Ibis, they don’t have such rules and it didn’t mention anywhere in the booking that we have to state total number of pax. We have to pay extra for breakfast as my spouse wasn’t covered. However overall stay is very pleasant. Room is clean, staff are friendly but the swimming pool is quite small.

Very nice hotel ”

It’s a very nice Ibis hôtel, i visited a lot of Ibis hotels and this one was one of the best and biggest one. The rooftop swimming pool is awesome. Room was very clean and confortable, staff was very helpful and always smiling. I can only recommend. 5 stars service 👍

Exceptional”

We enjoyed our stay at the Ibis. The room was clean with a comfortable bed and soft pillows. We had a corner room on the 20th floor with wrap around windows, which had a great view including of the Petronas towers. There was construction happening in the building next door so you do hear some construction noises during the day. The windows are double glazed so it muffles the noise a lot and you don't hear the traffic. The pool was nice with an awesome view however it is very small and there is very limited space to sit around the pool. Although advertised as high speed wifi, it was in fact quite slow.

IBIS KL City Centre is affordable and love its strategic location, walking distance to KLCC.

The hotel is located near the Twins tower and provides full facilities; infinity pool with KLCC view, GYM, SPA, Rooftop Bar and etc. However, the only thing I dissatisfy is they provide less shuttle services for customers. If you want to use the service, you might have to wait at least 20 - 30 mins which is wasting your time for your trip.
