But to be honest, I'm here for the second time and already to choose the different room, but all I've got is the same room. It's different space from the agoda and the reality, but overall it's a great place to stay one or two days. Thank you Ibis Budget Surabaya.

Great value for money, clean, strategic”

Stayed for six nights, very pleasant experience. The bed was clean and always pristinely made. They had an overhead reading light as well as power sources (great for people who work/reads in bed). Toilets and towels are always clean and fresh. Air conditioning works properly. Room was spacious, with a corner work fit for a laptop. More than enough space for one person (I had a medium sized luggage). Bottled water was always restocked every day. Staffs were helpful and friendly, but somehow they always missed my wake up call request. Housekeeping would repeatedly knock to ask if I'd like my room to be cleaned, even though I have specified to come back at a certain hour. But it was not such a big problem. Note that they do not provide amenities, slippers, and in room refreshment (tea/coffee & mini bar). They have a coffee shop downstairs, and they also sell snacks and refreshements. You can order food with GrabFood/Gojek and have your order delivered promptly, as it is located strategically. I was pleased with how easy it was to get around from here. 10 minutes to Tunjungan Plaza area, 5 minutes to Taman Bungkul. Good experience, definitely worth more than the price I paid. Suitable for business travellers/solo traveller who does not spend a lot of time in the hotel. Would come back and stay here again.

Disappointed”

Thought it would be the same like ibis budget cikini, but I was disappointed. Despite the size of the room, lots of ants in the room attacking my chocolate truffles. Staying for 4 nights and i could not borrow hair dryer because according to the reception they only have 2 hair dryers for 130 over rooms occupied in the hotel(if i was not mistaken). First morning i woke up,room attendant knocked my door at 7.50 am ask if i would like to have my room cleaned. Luckily i was awake already. I felt it was too early to knock on guest room for make up room before 8am. But maybe accor has changed their standard operation procedures? Second morning i came down at 6.20am and the breakfast was not ready yet. The night shift reception said to wait until 6.30am. Again, i thought the hotel announced the breakfast on the in house TV channel that they serve from 6am. AC problem with 3 times off in 1 hour. But it was technical problem, not human error, so it was not a big deal and they moved me to corner room which is more spacious after 3 hours. Overall, many disappointing points but it sure can be improved. I expect lots because i had better experience at other ibis budget before.

Budget hotel w/ premium facilities in the centre area of Surabaya city”

This was the best budget hotel I've ever stayed. Everything was perfect. Room n decoration were stylish,super clean and comfortable. Except one staff at reception when I bought drink, he served me so looooooong, but still OK. Definitely will go back stay here again !

Nice hotel for few days”

The room was clean, bright and quite large. The staffs was friendly and helpful ( especially housekeeping ) except the receptionist. The thing i like least was there was no lock button in the bathroom's door

Budget Hotel with bare min amenities”

First impression was a pretty decent room, quite clean. But there was no amenities provided, except for a soap/shampoo dispenser (not separate shampoo and soap) and towels. No sandals, toothbrush, etc. There were stains on the pillow and bedsheets. So I used the towel as pillow cover. The towels weren’t exactly pristine white either. The AC was very cold and directed to the bed. It’s ok for the price but if you’re particular about stains on pillow/bedsheets, then maybe this is not the place for you.

The hotel is worth the money. Its cheap but the room is very nice. There are a variety of dish in the breakfast as well.

Good value for short stay with limited facilities and small room. But the staff are nice. The receptionist is very friendly and responsive. Even in 2 am in the morning they answer the phone quickly.

everything was good until 11 at night the ac was always off every 1 hour, i thought it was the timer of the ac but i think there is superstitious activity in my room. cannot sleep every 1 hour, i wake up until 5 am in the morning. otherwise everything in there was good. hot shower is running good.
