My 3 nights stay was good which I like the most is the nearby restaurant name 369. It's a nice Chinese restaurant n the female restaurant skinny wearing glasses is ver helpful to providing city information. Overall the hotel is good but the last day before I check out there is a heavy rain n I am shock the room floor is full of water from the window. Luckily I check out on that day it self. I like tho shopping mall near by name ciputra world. It's a nice shopping mall... It's full of nice restaurant at the 3rd floor ....

Sattisfying”

Stayed overnight from our way to Bromo. Place is clean, bathroom is decent with hot shower, staff helpful. It is a budget accommodation for backpackers and the like. The walls are quiet thin, but it wasn't a problem for us.

water problem”

Overall the hotel is good, but the problem is only showering water thats very annoying. When I took a bath, sometimes the water was too small showering, sometimes no water at all and also the water heater, somestimes the water was very hot and sometimes no hot at all and makes me cold so much.

Relax”

I stayed for 2 nights. It is a good hotel but the location quite not at good location but near a big shopping complex. It is you get for what you paid for . The staffs were very helpful and they provided the hot water for you to make drinks. There were only small number of rooms. So no noise during the stay.

I stayed here for just one night. It's a great hotel if you're trying to save money. The rooms are tiny - mine just had a bed, towel rack, and small table - but I think there are better rooms available. The homestay is really close to Ciputra World mall, which has lots of nice restaurants, a movie theater, and bunches of shops. The area's a bit sketchy-looking, but you get what you pay for, yeah? I didn't actually feel unsafe there, even walking at night.

it was worth for staying in this hotel. The price was cheap. It was located near center of the city. Easy access to public transport and shopping mall. The staffs were friendly. At night 10pm the front door will be closed, but its okay, the staffs will open the door for you if you want to go out. The room was clean, simple, but comfortable. Overall, it was good hotel to stay.

nice hotel to stay ,its like my own home, lol..., not that crowded environtment, and the most important is the location, Providence Hotel is located in the middle of town,so..is easy access to hangout, bout the price is fair,and the staff are friendly. My room is clean and neat, you know what Providence hotel is family living concept , have a dining room, they prepare coffee, tea , and some cookies but we have to help ourself, need to going back to surabaya and stay in this hotel

Clean and budget room near big mall”

We stayed for 2 days in a room with the window (yard view). Keep in mind: a few rooms have no windows. The air-conditioning and wi-fi were ok. The hotel offers tea/coffee facilities and candies for free. There are 3 shared bathrooms in the hotel, 2 with cold water and 1 with hot. The atmosphere was quiet, the girls on reception were very friendly and helpful, they helped us to order a taxi when we checked out. The hotel is great point if you're intending to make some shopping, there is a big mall nearby. For dinner there are variety of restaurants inside the mall, for different type of meal and amount of money.

this home stay is ok for short period, the room rate very cheap, tea maker facilities, near to ciputra world, comfortable vip room with attached bathroom, but standard room no window, i book 1 vip room and 3 standard room, the 3rd standard room and vip room air cond not cool. staff is very friendy.

Great location”

I get one room with a good scenery of the city. I went to Surabaya to do some business and traveling. I would certainly go to the hotel again if I'm in Surabaya. For the money i spent the hotel features more than i've expected. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Surabaya for business or shopping purposes.

Perfect place for a nights stopover in surabaya”

I don't think this hotel is used by many westerners but that's not a problem the staff have basic English and were able to order us a taxi and also print off a hotel reservation for us with no problems. The rooms are really nice clean and cosy with aircon which makes this really good value. The big shopping mall is not far where you can get some really great food.

Small affordable hotel with good location”

we booked vip room but when we arrived, they gave us a room one level lower than that because the person in that room wanted to extend. they paid us back the difference in price. laundry service was good and cheap. the regular rooms don't have very much privacy or sound isolation, but the vip rooms are a bit better in this regard. our vip room didn't have hot water which was a bit disappointing.

It is close to a shopping mall and really cheap. It's a little bit noisy if the other guests are loud because the only thing separating them from you is thin wood, not walls.

the homestay would be closed ard 11 / 12 o'clock every night, I assume for safety. I knocked and pressed their bell, and opened quite fast.
