Deciding what to do, book our 3 times stay in Cebu City to just 1 hotel or 3 different hotels. The Bai Hotel won over several Hotels to be Our Home away from Home. Deciding what to do, book our 3 times stay in Cebu City to just 1 hotel or 3 different hotels. The Bai Hotel won over several Hotels to be Our Home away from Home. We were looking for: 1) Comfort (amenities & cleanliness). We were right at home, feeling like the Queens of the South. Amenities & cleanliness true as stated. Rooms was modern, very clean & spacious. 2) Reasonable room rates, with a 4 to 5 Stars rating (I personally rate them 5 stars). Rates was great (booked with Agoda & Expedia. Preferred Agoda because of their free cancellations & pay later.) We booked twice for the executive room and the last stay booked the premium room. But later decided to upgrade to the executive rooms (We got spoiled on the previous stays). Had no problem in upgrading. 3) Accommoda

Cons: - Location. It actually depends. Its situated between Cebu City and the hotel. So it depends on your intended purpose. - Nothing other than this.

The size of our room was undeniably spacious, we stayed in their penthouse which was really cozy and homey. We had our bedroom on the second floor and even had a dining table. Hotel is also strategically located near everything- restaurants, convient store, and mall so you'll sure to get what you need with just a short walk. Breakfast was the best! We love this location because it is across the street from the new Park Mall, where we can drop our child to play at the fantastic Kidzone while we take care of business at the new Chong Hua Hospital. Wife loves the 1.5 hour massage by the blind massuesses at Park Mall. Also Casino Filipino is there. Dining in the area is amazing as Time...includes nice breakfast buffet. We love this location because it is across the street from the new Park Mall, where we can drop our child to play at the fantastic Kidzone while we take care of business at the new Chong Hua Hospital. Dining in the area is amazing as Times Square offers an unbelievable choice of dining venues from high class to inexpensive. Buffet 101, one of Cebu's best is there also.

So clean and well-carpeted and you can actually smell the cleanliness of the sheets, carpets and curtains!! The food tastes great and there's a whole lot of options to choose to. Definitely the best hotel experience in so far! DOHERA should be a SIX STAR hotel for its extreme commitment towards its service and their guests experience. The only tiny thing that needs improvememt would have been the pool as it would be better if it were a bit bigger and accessible the other side of the building where you don't need to through the hotel restaurant. By the way -- the pool is sparkling clean and cold. You'll never regret it.

Booked this hotel for a “staycation” moment with my bestfriend for our Cebu trip. And I just really think our stay here was just great. Our room was big for us just two, I think we couldve invited two more for our reservation. Like our room was good for 4. I loved our pool access. That was the best for me. Also liked the bathroom! I think this would be a nice place to bring your family with you :) We ordered food from their cafe for dinner, it was okay. Nothing special, I’d say it’s a bit pricy but alright!

this is not the first time staying in this hotel. we stayed here before when another hotel we had booked was 'uninhabitable'. we are glad we made the decision to come back to andy hotel. the staff is polite, attentive and courteous. the rooms are spacious and clean. the shower is wonderful - high water pressure, good shower head and excellent heater. the toilet i...this is not the first time staying in this hotel. we stayed here before when another hotel we had booked was 'uninhabitable'. we are glad we made the decision to come back to andy hotel. the staff is polite, attentive and courteous. the rooms are spacious and clean. the shower is wonderful - high water pressure, good shower head and excellent heater. the toilet is an elongated bowl - which is nice. the beds are comfortable, the linens clean - the aircon works well (some places use aircons that are too small for the rooms - not a problem at andy's). - there is a 24 hour convenience store, pharmacy, kfc, jollibee and pizza place all within a block (and a carendaria - local cooked food sellers). there are two money changers, lbc, western union, and cebuana luhillier's also very close. the food in 'mang cape' (andy hotel cafe) is flavorful and cooked well. the budget dinner meals are a little small in portions for a westerner, but my wife was happy. only two problems which the staff attentively dealt with: once housekeeping forgot to leave clean towels and then took a little time to get it to us. one word to the front desk and that was solved. the local laundry (and the place andy sends one's laundry out to) messed up our laundry order. they did not return all of our clothes and some they did return had been shoved onto dirty shelves so needed to be re-laundered. my wife (lovely woman that she is) took the time to go into the laundry, search for and find our missing items (good thing we made an itemized list hint). spoke to andy staff about the problem and they acted. had an apology from the laundry and some free service. mr. tan, the owner, runs a good establishment. he is frequently walking onsite and we've seen him walking the floors at night inspecting. andy's is a block of a major thoroughfare. it is an easy taxi ride to pacific mall, j center, park mall, sm mall - a little further to gaisano country mall and ayala center. we like the loca

Price vs Amenities = Good. Our room doesn't have a window, but it was indicated when i booked. This is near SM Cebu. 10 mins by Grab car / cab. Bed is comfortable. But their pillows gave me a stiff neck. It was solved when i asked for another pillow - which they don't charge extra. Shower. They change towels everytime and 'add' the soap/toothbrush/shampoo (even if you didnt use them). Best to get their breakfast upon booking. As the nearest food source is 7-11 which is located across the street + a little walk. There is a carinderia too a few establishments away (you walk to your right from the hotel) Key Card. They seem to provide only 1 key card/room. Their key card sometimes doesn't work. Best that when they try to fix it, ask a personnel to go with you so you dont need to go up & down. It happened to me, I have to go down 3x.

I often travel to Cebu and I stay in this hotel for nearly 3 weeks. OK, its not the Hilton, but you are not paying anywhere near that price for this quality accommodation. This place is real value for money if you are looking for cheap accommodation for a long stay. It offers very little in creature comforts like swimming pools or bars or restaurants, but has reliable WiFi and a real nostalgic past era about this place. I'm not sure about the history about this house, but I believe the man who built it must have loved his wife very much. My highlight, are the two ladies that a running the place. They are absolutely the sweetest ladies and can't do enough to help you being comfortable there. They are shy and not worldly, but very real and very caring.

The room was airconditioned, has two single beds, has electric socket each bed for charging purposes. The house is silent. I just slept and went back to Manila early in the morning.

All the staff were friendly and helpful and we had a super breakfast each morning in the Hotel Canteen. The room was clean and had good aircon, with a good shower room and comfortable beds. We could hear the next door occupants playing the TV quite loud from the corridor, but could not hear anything from inside our room. Very easy to get a taxi from outside the Hotel and the taxi drivers never try to rip you off. Very cheap fares too. The Lylie Hotel also had hot and cold water available day and night - just outside our room from dispensers in the corridor. We will definitely be booking and staying at the Lylie Hotel another time. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in.

In general, I liked staying in this inn. The staff made me feel at home and extended me the kind of service that one is generally wont (accustomed) to getting in hotels. Ventilation is a bit of an issue as is the sorry state and smell of the cabinet. Aircon is good. Whether on full blast or even on low cool mode, it delivers well. Before a guest checks in, opening the window and spraying an air freshener with an inviting but not overpowering smell would be nice. The summer heat generates a smell akin to what they call in Filipino 'kulob'. The same applies to the cabinet in the room I was in. If this is resolved, I am sure that they can be one of the best value for money inns in Cebu. Location is likewise a problem because AS Fortuna is always congested. On the whole, good value for money and great staff!

We would have given all-around 5 stars for this stay if not for the slow and almost always full elevator service .
