My girlfriend and I spent a few hours travelling down the east coast looking for good accommodation at a cheap price. We ended up booking three nights in a bungalow. Reception were nice upon our arrival, and throughout the rest of our stay. Shuttles ran every couple hours to Lamai Central, pick ups and drop offs, which can in very useful when trying to do something with your time in Samui.
The Samui Orchard Resort is located directly next to the tiger zoo/aquarium. In addition to this, by staying at the Samui Orchard Resort, you receive half price tickets. The tiger zoo is worth seeing. All of the animals were caged up outside of our bungalow, with tropical birds, cute otters and monkeys. They are all well trained and you can buy food from the front to feed them with.
Beautiful resort, three stunning swimming pools, directly on the beach, with kite boarding lessons if you're feeling adventurous (quite expensive). Nice clean rooms, friendly staff."

We are 6 persons group and rent a three bedrooms villa for one week in Oct 2016. The villa is built on the slope of a small village, it looked clean and new with completed in house facilities e.g. refrigerator, iron, air-conditon, induction cooker, welcome fruit and some free instant noodle. The view of house and the pool is fantastic, you can see the sea view while swimming in the infinity pool or sitting on the balcony. Although, they will only clean up the villa every 4 days but they will tidy up the rooms every day, so it never looks messy. They owner of the house is very nice and gave support to us any time. We were so happy that the owner gave us a 5 seaters car for driving during our staying. While we visit Samui next time, we must stay here again and also highly recommend this wonderful villa - Sky Villa Philippa (Sky Villa Samui).
Remarks: the villa is located in a village and should drive about 15 mins to the nearest crowded beach - Lamai Beach. A small tasty beef noodle restaurant is near the roadside of main road and only 8 mins driving distance from the villa"

Hua Thanon,Samui Aquarium and Tiger Zoo - View on map"Fantastic property with overwhelming service and facilities. We had a Apple TV in our room and it was so much fun. Kayaking is offered free which is a great thing to do.
Staff is superb! Everyone is looking to see how you can be more comfortable!
I recommend that whoever goes to Koh Samui should spend part of their holiday at X2.
The samui aquarium is a walk from X2 by the beach.
THe 4K restaurant has a great view and even kiteboarding is frequently seen.
THe travel time from airport is 45 minutes but totally worth it.
Surely would repeat it if i go to Koh Samui Again!"

the location perfect for me/but for younger people who want busy night-life and discos/ect maybe a little to far from all that,but they have bike and car rentals at the resort, about 5 kilometres to lamai,/ but for any one else,there is plenty to do,800 meters from /tiger Aquarium/500 meters from butterfly garden/2 kilometres from Namuang water falls/ and amazing Namu...

We visited Koh Samui with the priority of kitesurfing, this hotel is located about a 5 minute scooter ride from one of the kite spots on the island. If you are visiting the island to party 24/7 I wouldn't recommend staying in this part of town. However, scooter rental on the island is easy to come by and it is possible to visit every beach.
