The Japanese restaurant is somewhat pricy compared to the Philippines in general, but they certainly rose to the challenge and delivered an excellent meal worth every cent and is hence warmly recommended. We also tried the outdoor section of the Piano bar and that too is an experience worth to have, great cocktails and very friendly staff. This hotel was so nice, we immediately booked it for the last night of our trip as well, with such a start of a trip you can not go wrong, was our reasoning. Well recommended hotel. We've stayed for 4 days at this hotel and im glad we did. It's a new hotel so every furnishing, including the bed sheets etc, are still in good condition. We booked 2 premiere rooms and one junior room and it is both spacious. They have a kiddie pool and one big adult pool which satisfies our kids. Except that they put so much chlorine in the kiddie pool so my son ...We've stayed for 4 days at this hotel and im glad we did. This is what I liked best in this Hotel-- its the friendly and helpful staff that acted swiftly in cases like this. The buffet food at their resto is good also. Not the best but its not bad.

I booked Bayfront at a lower price here at Agoda and just out of curiosity i tried asking the rates as a walk in and its almost twice the amount that i have paid booking here. The room is very spacious especially if you are travelling solo, internet is fast, breakfast is great. Everything there is in a hotel is here. If they could in a bath tub and a walk in closet its a suite not just any room anymore.

Cebu Parklane is not the newest hotel in Cebu but it represents great value for money, has a great restaurant and is located right next to Ayala mall with all its restaurants and night life. If you can overlook this the hotel is great and if you can stretch it, I recommend including breakfast in your booking and also going for the boutique rooms which are sensational value and ulrra spacious.....

Was so happy with Montebello and would love to stay here again in the future. As a kid, I spent some time here in the aper-tel (apartment/hotel) wing of the hotel many years ago and our family would often visit and stay there frequently growing up. As a result, this hotel was close to my heart due to fond memories and I booked the place out of sheer nostalgia. Loving the design and landscaping, the revamp of the kiddies pool, etc. Cleanliness is awesome. I've seen the staff even dusting down the mouldings on the hallways walls - no detail was missed! Staff are amazing, accommodating, and so so friendly. My family and I were so happy for the 5 days we spent and we are so grateful for their generous hospitality as we are a big family. The cleaning staff is very good at their job too. Everyone there is very pleasant and happy to serve you. They even clean and mop the brick driveway throughout the day! They will happily go to the street and hail a taxi for you or, if you prefer, they will call a private car to assist in your travels. The staff is outstanding! We used the restaurant only for the breakfast buffet which seemed acceptable to most, but I found few American dishes available on a daily basis though they did change some selections each day. I was accepting of this since they cater to many different cultures that travel to their city and it would be impossible to satisfy everyone every day. Also, it gave me the opportunity to try the local dishes. The bar has knowledgeable staff that know how to make drinks properly. The Hotel Elizabeth is also within a 2 block walking distance to the well known, super clean Ayala Mall. The mall is huge, with outdoor gardens and many restaurants to choose from. I personally give this place a 5 star rating for their overall cleanliness and willingness to make everyone happy. We liked it so much, that we cancelled another leg of our trip to go back to the Elizabeth to enjoy the last 4 days of our journey in a very relaxing environment. Yes there are many other good hotels, but not for the price. CLOSE to EVERYTHING! Connected to mall which has groceries and great prices on top floor! Located on the main square / round about so you have man...I have stayed in many hotels in Cebu, and will more than likely stay here or in Cebu Grand Hotel also booked through Agoda when u look at value, quality, and cost. Yes there are many other good hotels, but not for the price. CLOSE to EVERYTHING! Connected to mall which has groceries and great prices on top floor! Located on the main square / round about so you have many activities there that are very safe to walk to even at night. I would suggest paying the little extra for the deluxe room to get the best view. The hotel is also connected to Cebu Pacific Air office which is excellent convenience...also walking distance to perhaps the best hospital in Cebu as well as at least 2 pharmacies. The restaurant was sufficient and you have plenty of options at the connected mall if you prefer.

We are deeply indebted for the fine service at the pool from Charisma who is always been very kind and thoughtful in making us feel at home and comfortable. The food is excellent with new creations and innovation with their NEW OUTDOOR RESTAURANT you can really dine with the StARS and have Romantic evening with candlelight to make guests love the outdoor meals served including superior and premium steaks that my wife and I dearly loved,that WE DINE 2 nights in a ROW ! Lastly, Sous chef ,Joeffrey and executive chef Roberto Kunitz are wonderful in terms of their service to customers and are much appreciated by this customer and family. Walking around the hotel is a pleasure because of the artwork and decorations. The one downside I found is the restaurant. I only ate breakfast there but it was way overpriced for poor quality. 350 Pesos got a single egg, ham, processed cheese, toast and fruit. But this is more than made up for by the restaurants around the hotel. The neighborhood of Banilad is the most upscale in Cebu. There are lots of really good restaurants, offering many local and international choices. I had one of the best Thai meals I've had outside Thailand just across the street and there are Italian, Filipino, Chinese and Korean restaurants nearby. In the past I've stayed near the Ayala Mall, which has comparatively limited eating choices after you've been there a week or two. The Banilad neighborhood has much wider choices with better food at lower prices. The outdoor pool is pleasant with a well-kept lawn around it. The staff are warm and helpful. I made a few of special requests and all of them were attended to quickly and effectively. I'm a regular visitor to Cebu, and this has become my new home here.

They couldn't even help us unload or load our luggage to & from the car eventhough he wasn't doing anything but stand there or chat with the people waiting for the jeepney. Lastly, the bizarre experiences we had was when my son, 3 1/2 y.o, & his nanny entered the bathroom (rm.508), my son pointed at 1 corner of the bathroom & said that "lola" was there. He never does that & the nanny, although scared out of her wits, just told my son to ignore whatever it is. Then my mother in law had nightmares the whole 2 nights we were there. Her nightmares for 2 nights were the same, that a man was following her from the lobby to their room. They're in rm.505 & their door is directly in line with 1 of the elevator door. I don't know but isn't that a bad position for the doors to be directly in line with each other? 😱😱😱

Cebu R Hotel's location is one of its best features... it is roughly between two of Cebu's biggest malls, SM City and Ayala Business Park. Ironically there is no 24 hour grocery like 711 around. The other best feature of the hotel are its friendly and efficient staff, particularly the ladies at the cafe and the front desk. The security guards are also highly commended for their friendliness... they are actually the hotel's first and last impressions and they do a wonderful job. The rooms are pretty basic but they work. There's an open cabinet, a TV, a fridge and of course the important air conditioning unit. I wished the rooms had more power outlets but more importantly, I hope they have a look at the state of the bed linens, which are showing signs of age.

The hotel owner was also very helpful in giving us tips on what to do in Cebu. The wifi also worked very well in the hotel, expect for one time where it dropped out, but the staff had already noticed and restarted the internet by the time we called the reception. It was relatively easy to get to main attractions from this hotel. As said Ayala Mall is nearby, and honestly if you book tours, they come to your doorstep to pick you up anyway so you don;t really have to worry about transport. The hotel is also located on a side street so you don't get all the noise. It would be best to get their business card when you're there to show the taxi drivers where it is, some didnt know where the hotel was (i'm guessing they recently had their name changed) They also have cable Tv with loads of channels The downsides: Their breakfast is PRETTY limited. They have an option between a Filipino or Western style breakfast. The western breakfast isnt all that good, i persoanlly got pretty sick of it by the third morning. pretty salty too, but i feel like in general most filipino food is salty lol. So don't expect an amazing breakfast, but still its a very good hotel. Also we ended up buying our own soap and shampoo from the convenience store cuz we didnt really like the ones that were provided. But that's just a small gripe. Overall, i wouldnt mind staying here again

We were stranded in bohol and they accommodated our request to transfer our things from the 3 rooms and transfer it to the 4th room, when we arrived our things were neatly arranged. Staff were very professional. Especially the front desk. Special mention to Rubz, she was the one who accommodated all our request while we were stranded in bohol because of the storm signal. Location wise, the hotel is directly infront of ayala mall. And there is a 711 downstairs which was very convenient. This hotel is basic and no fuss. All in all, we were happy with our first encounter with this hotel. Do not expect 5-star amenities for the price you pay. I think that's common sense. If you want 5-star amenities then pay for 5-star. In short, this is definitely value for the money. For short stays like 1-2 nights, this will suffice. If you stay longer you might start getting claustrophobic. Worth trying. :)

I enjoyed my early morning jog at the Fuente Circle just accross the hotel and the very satisfying buffet breakfast of the hotel. LOL. The hotel rate I got thru Agoda was too cheap compared to the satisfaction I had. Well, despite the old facilities, still, I would prefer this hotel over the other 2 hotels I stayed at during my 4-day vacatiom here. I should had booked in Rajah Park during my entire stay. Nextime, this year for sure.

What else could I say other than they made me want to return and QUICKLY! The only downside we encountered was at the evening buffet when we were shocked at the paucity of selection and quality of the food being offered. It was generally dry, tasteless, overpriced and at 1400 PHP per person not even fountain drinks were offered with the meal without extra charge. That was a disappointment to me personally as I had dined there often years ago and I could see a clear deterioration. If they get that squared away I would give the hotel ALL FIVE STARS!

I think ABC Hotel is one of the best economy hotel considering its location and below points. The room is modern and kept very clean by thorough housekeeping. It is a budget hotel though, and it comes with the usual cons like having really small and cheap toiletries, and you had to hang a sign on the door of your room if you want to have it cleaned, otherwise the housekeeping wouldn't bother. Nevertheless, I'm glad a lot of comfortable and efficient budget hotels like this are becoming more popular, and Express Inn is no exception. Plus, the location was good, near a lot of cheap eateries and a walkable distance from SM. All in all, a highly recommended stay for the budget-conscious traveler.

I informed the front desk about this and they said “no problem sir, you can just bring us the confirmation when it comes through”. And just when I thought everything was all said and done… they informed me that all the deluxe suits were now booked; but after a long pause… she smiled and said “we’ll just have to upgrade you to the executive suit for the night” I was completely blown away at all of this! The room was outstanding… it was CLEAN, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and if that wasn’t enough… I woke up to the best “complimentary” eggs to order breakfast I’ve ever eaten! The only “con” was the workout room, but other than that… 2 thumbs up!

The room we had in harolds was okay. The interior was great and the bed was very comfortable. One thing we did not like though is that the room we had does not have a nice view from the the window. The location of the hotel will be a bit of a problem if you would come from ayala center because the easy way to go back to the hotel is to walk. But one thing I can commend about in this hotel is the staff. Being accommodated by their helpful staff made me feel that Cebuano's are generally hospitable people that are eager to help you have a great stay in Cebu. So I am very thankful to have the staff help us with navigating Cebu and giving us tips on where to go and what to do in our short stay in Cebu City. :)

I left off at Ayala, so going on to Robinson’s Mall, there is Robinsons’ Fuente Circle nearby, and from there there is a free shuttle bus to Robinson’s Galleria every hour or so, which takes about 30 minutes. The bus does get stuck in traffic so it’s not on a firm schedule unfortunatley. There is also a major hospital nearby (Chinese name, I forget) so that is convenient. My only criticism is of Agoda. All hotels in Philippines charge tax and services on top of their room rate. Agoda lists the price as room only, sans taxes. My credit card doesn’t understand that - only the final total. In Europe, it is law that taxes and fees are included in the price. It may not be in North America, or Asia, but it should be, and there is nothing stopping Agoda from being intelligent, wise and helpful and only showing the final price WITH TAXES. Hopefully someone reads this and acts.

The cab driver from the airport went the longest way possible to get there, upon later cab trips it’s way cheaper! But those are both my problems. The location once you get there is very good! Close walking distance to restaurants and bars. I found the location to be really quiet. The rooms are super nice and kept clean. Biggest thing is the staff! The front desk staff are so amazing and helpful, and so is everyone that works there. No complaints on my part. If I was in that part of the city again I would stay here. The price is good, the location is good...., what else can you want.

We ended up in this hotel as the one we had booked originally had been over booked and agoda suggested this place. Unfortunately, room 808 was not as great. We had neighbours who were loud and came home late/early (3am) drunk, which ...We stayed here for 2 nights. We were so happy to have a clean hotel room, fresh towels, and great staff who were very helpful and caring. We ended up in this hotel as the one we had booked originally had been over booked and agoda suggested this place. Unfortunately, room 808 was not as great. We had neighbours who were loud and came home late/early (3am) drunk, which was not the hotel's fault. However, we could hear everything they were doing as if they were in the room with us. Showers, what they were doing in the bathrooms, what tv show they were watching, the songs and exact words they were singing along to, and drunk sex at 4am in the morning... very, very loudly. We had to turn on a sound machine app on our phones and put earplugs in to drown out this unpleasant wake up. Also at around 7am in the morning, the other room next door to us was being renovated. So there was banging and hittings sounds. To top it off we were all quite sick, and this made sleeping in or sleeping in general very difficult. This place works on so many other levels, except for the fact that the sound proofing of rooms made this otherwise great hotel really unbearable.

The receptionists and cleaners are very accommodating.The chef already knows how I want my steak and carbonara done. The housekeeping prepares my laundry at exactly 6AM and therapist is always available for a massage at 12 midnight.This hotel accommodates my demands for thick blinds facing west for glorious sunset view. IT gives me my own router so I wont be interrup...The receptionists and cleaners are very accommodating.The chef already knows how I want my steak and carbonara done. The housekeeping prepares my laundry at exactly 6AM and therapist is always available for a massage at 12 midnight.This hotel accommodates my demands for thick blinds facing west for glorious sunset view. IT gives me my own router so I wont be interrupted with my work. I travelled with my senior citizen mom, and she had no complains at all.
