The hotel is just 5 minutes from the main Champs Elysees road. It is behind Zara and Marks & Spencer, and just a block away from Louis Vuitton. It's about 20 minutes away from Arc De Triomphe and 30 minutes away (all by walk) from Musee D'Orsay. Facilities is okay. However, we have someone with us who's in a wheelchair and out of all the hotels we've had during our Eur...The hotel is just 5 minutes from the main Champs Elysees road. It is behind Zara and Marks & Spencer, and just a block away from Louis Vuitton. It's about 20 minutes away from Arc De Triomphe and 30 minutes away (all by walk) from Musee D'Orsay. Facilities is okay. However, we have someone with us who's in a wheelchair and out of all the hotels we've had during our Europe trip (8 hotels), this was the only one where we had to reserve a higher room type (3rd room type from cheapest), which is EUR60 on top of the 2nd room type. We just decided to retain the 2nd room type. What was great though was that they upgraded the other rooms to the 2nd room type (we had 3 rooms in total) so we are all adjacent to each other. Hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating - the most out of all the hotels we've stayed at during the trip.

It has all the modern amenities you will need like the flat screen TV, hair dryer, big ref, microwave, coffee machine, dish washer and complete pans, plates, cups, etc. Good thing is they allow 4 persons/adults in the suite so we had the best family bonding while we are there. This hotel is located in the heart of Paris, you can walk to most of the city attractions. Train station is also one block away. Other than location, the service was excellent! Very easy access to metro station and convenient to reach literally all tourist places in the city. There are also many choices of eateries right next to the hotel including a 4.5-star Crepe restaurant. The hotel was remodeled in 2009 with artistic internal decoration. Though small, the room was equipped with modern-styled furniture and decent brand bathing supplies. Last but not the least, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They spoke good English so there was no trouble in communication at all. They helped us print papers without charge; they provided umbrellas; they booked taxi; and they let us store some of our luggage for more than a week (we left Paris and returned there later). We will return to the same hotel next time we are in Paris for sure!

Location was very central for exploring but the heavily armed presence of police at the nearby British and American Embassies reminded you of the ongoing threat from terrorism. There is clearly a lot of work being carried out at the hotel. This didn't disturb us but it didn't show the hotel in its best light. I'm sure it will be much better, and possibly more expensive, when it's finished. I would stay there again.

We booked this hotel online with ease. I emailed them a few days later asking if they provided a tranfer service from the airport to the hotel. They emailed be back straight away saying they did not however, they did offer a service from the hotel to the airport. We did avail of this for our departure as it was private and reasonably priced. This hotel is conveniently located a few blocks away from the Rome train stop with restaurants, bakeries, cafes and convenience stores a short stroll away. We obtained this advice from the staff (Boy and Tej) at the breakfast room (where we never had breakfast - they were just so much more helpful with directions and advice). The room was very clean and modern. We enjoyed the infusion of color as the weather was rather dreary during our stay. Our only suggestion for improvement would be to install either a curtain or a divider between the bathtub and the rest of the bathroom so you don't wet the entire area during your shower. It would also be nice to install a little ramp from the lobby up to the elevated portion of the hotel so you don't need to carry your luggage up the steps.

The stuff wasn't very helpful and a bit confused as the day we left the hotel, we informed the front desk that we already booked the transport to airport (thru the hotel in fact!), and we are expecting the transport. Then a shuttle van stop in front of the hotel and asked if someone is waiting for transport to airport and the front desk told the driver "no!". I was right in front of the receiption desk and overheard the conversation (in French). Not that I understand French but I do understand that "non!". Driver look confused and I can see the paper he was holding written my room number. I then tell him oh yes I am expecting a transport to airport. I am shocked how unprofessional how the receitionist was and we just just inform her we are expecting a transport to the airport 5 mins before the van arrived, and we're just standing in front of the front desk. She is not rude but I just don't understand. Perhaps she is just being ignorant.

First impressions weren't great as the front-desk and back-office areas were undergoing renovation and temporarily crammed into the small lounge. The room was newly renovated and spotless, with good quality sheets and comfortable mattress. The shower, air-con and Nespresso coffee machine all worked great and the free Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. The only problem we had was with the washbasin plug. There was no way to unplug it to let the water drain out. However that was quickly fixed upon notification to the front-desk staff. Breakfast was an extra cost option at €9 net and turned out to be quite a substantial buffet spread that included a variety of cold cut meats as well as hot items such as scrambled eggs and pork sausages. There wasn't an over-abundance of items, but whatever was offered was high quality. Staff were attentive and friendly despite the disruption from the builders working all around them. The front-office staff spoke good English and dealt with all our requests efficiently, from borrowing an adapter for UK appliances and an umbrella to getting the washbasin plug fixed. The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood which felt safe at night. There isn't much of interest for tourists in the immediate vicinity, but the location makes a good base. It's centrally located between the fashionable restaurants and bars of the 17th arr. to the west, Montmatre to the NE, the main shopping district of Bvd. Haussmann to the SE and to the south, the river Seine and museums. Not forgetting the nearest Metro station (Europe) which is just 2 mins walk from the hotel. All-in-all we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel which although small, lives-up to its claim of being 'elegant' and has the stamp of quality throughout.

Well stocked minibar; tea and coffee making facility, good hairdrier and a very good television (confirming just how bad French tv shows really are). Good hot shower. The building is currently scaffolded but we still had a pleasant view. Beware the usual outbreak of Paris bin emptying at 7.30am - but it's all soon over. We did not have breakfast nor room service but the latter especially looked quite inventive and good value. Hotel is conveniently situated close to bus, ho-ho tour buses and metro services in Madeleine (42 bus comes straight from Gare du Nord) and there are more exyensive public transport links ten minutes away at Opera as well as department stores. The Louvre is about a 17 minute walk. Turn left into Rue St Honore to find a good bakery (it's cafe, though, was very poor, foodwise) while there are three restaurants opposite the hotel and a useful Monoprix store close by. The adjacent '3 Quartiers' cafe served us the worst coffee ever with a cold 'hot chocolate' - and it was expensive. The area is well populated with good designer shops, many of them very individual.
