I had the privilege of staying at the BAI Hotel for 1 month in May 2018. The hotel informs you in advance that they are still in soft opening but you would not know it from the 5 Star service that I received during my stay. I work in the hotel industry and understand how difficult it is to deliver consistent 5 Star service but the BAI Hotel has accomplished this already in all facets of the Hotel from Hskp, Front Office, Safety & Security and an amazing Food & Beverage experience. The sushi restaurant and Sushi chef is incredible to the point that I won't be able to eat sushi in the USA anymore. The General Manager at this Resort is hands on in the Operation and it shows in the staff and high service standards. I travel to Cebu twice per year and have stayed at many of the top Hotels but I have now found my new home at the BAI Resort.

Pros: - Free Shuttle to SM and Parkmall - Good food inside the hotel - Breakfast is very good. - Many foodshops below the hotel like Coffe Bean and Tea Leaf, Japanese Restaurant, 7 eleven and more. - Hotel is connected with Maayo Clinic- The best 5 star place for medical diagnostics in the entire Cebu. - Service is similar to 5 star hotel - Price is 1/3 compared to 5 star hotels. - Room standard is 5 star. - Spa is good and cheap too. - There is a nice swimming pool overlooking. - Getting a transportation is easy and accessible. Cons: - Location. It actually depends. Its situated between Cebu City and the hotel. So it depends on your intended purpose. - Nothing other than this.

The size of our room was undeniably spacious, we stayed in their penthouse which was really cozy and homey. We had our bedroom on the second floor and even had a dining table. Hotel is also strategically located near everything- restaurants, convient store, and mall so you'll sure to get what you need with just a short walk. Breakfast was the best! It was well-thought buffet suiting various preferences, not to mention they're palatable. They also have an acoustic band on Saturdays! If only the hotel had a pool, you'd consider staying here for a few days. Overall, it was a really good stay! 😊

includes nice breakfast buffet. We love this location because it is across the street from the new Park Mall, where we can drop our child to play at the fantastic Kidzone while we take care of business at the new Chong Hua Hospital. Wife loves the 1.5 hour massage by the blind massuesses at Park Mall. Also Casino Filipino is there. Dining in the area is amazing as Times Square offers an unbelievable choice of dining venues from high class to inexpensive. Buffet 101, one of Cebu's best is there also.

When we arrived there the staff were very cheerful and accommodating. In fact, they prepared sweet chocolates and welcome drinks inside our room. The room -- Oh boy! So clean and well-carpeted and you can actually smell the cleanliness of the sheets, carpets and curtains!! We stayed at the 6th floor and can were indulged by the beautiful starlit skyline of Mandaue City. Lastly, the breakfast buffet is something I have never expected for such a steeply affordable price. The food tastes great and there's a whole lot of options to choose to. Definitely the best hotel experience in so far! DOHERA should be a SIX STAR hotel for its extreme commitment towards its service and their guests experience. The only tiny thing that needs improvememt would have been the pool as it would be better if it were a bit bigger and accessible the other side of the building where you don't need to through the hotel restaurant. By the way -- the pool is sparkling clean and cold. You'll never regret it.

The hotel is not more than a couple of years old, and still has a new feel to it. The bed is of a higher quality than I had in the pension houses I had stayed at earlier. In general, the decor and quality is superior to something like a Holiday Inn/Ramada hotel in the United States and the staff is FAR friendlier. As for food, I only had the buffet breakfast, but it was quite nice. There was a wide variety of food, and it changed both mornings I was there. I would have liked more vegetables, but there was a salad bar offered both days, and their homemade wheat bread is fantastic! This is about 20 dollars / 1000 pesos more than a mid range pension house. (Mid range pension would give you a smaller room, maybe/maybe not hot water, and if breakfast is included it would be something like egg and rice with a juice--filling, definitely, but not a vacation-kind of breakfast). The one downside is location. It is about 15-20 minutes walking to upscale shopping centers (Ayala mall, for example) or universities (which are interesting to walk around) but taxis are ridiculously cheap in Cebu so everything is accessible.

this is not the first time staying in this hotel. we stayed here before when another hotel we had booked was 'uninhabitable'. we are glad we made the decision to come back to andy hotel. the staff is polite, attentive and courteous. the rooms are spacious and clean. the shower is wonderful - high water pressure, good shower head and excellent heater. the toilet is an elongated bowl - which is nice. the beds are comfortable, the linens clean - the aircon works well (some places use aircons that are too small for the rooms - not a problem at andy's). - there is a 24 hour convenience store, pharmacy, kfc, jollibee and pizza place all within a block (and a carendaria - local cooked food sellers). there are two money changers, lbc, western union, and cebuana luhillier's also very close. the food in 'mang cape' (andy hotel cafe) is flavorful and cooked well. the budget dinner meals are a little small in portions for a westerner, but my wife was happy. only two problems which the staff attentively dealt with: once housekeeping forgot to leave clean towels and then took a little time to get it to us. one word to the front desk and that was solved. the local laundry (and the place andy sends one's laundry out to) messed up our laundry order. they did not return all of our clothes and some they did return had been shoved onto dirty shelves so needed to be re-laundered. my wife (lovely woman that she is) took the time to go into the laundry, search for and find our missing items (good thing we made an itemized list hint). spoke to andy staff about the problem and they acted. had an apology from the laundry and some free service. mr. tan, the owner, runs a good establishment. he is frequently walking onsite and we've seen him walking the floors at night inspecting. andy's is a block of a major thoroughfare. it is an easy taxi ride to pacific mall, j center, park mall, sm mall - a little further to gaisano country mall and ayala center. we like the loca

Price vs Amenities = Good. Our room doesn't have a window, but it was indicated when i booked. This is near SM Cebu. 10 mins by Grab car / cab. Bed is comfortable. But their pillows gave me a stiff neck. It was solved when i asked for another pillow - which they don't charge extra. Shower. I recommend before stepping into the shower , call for assistance already. Their shower is a bit complicated to operate. Make up my room. They change towels everytime and 'add' the soap/toothbrush/shampoo (even if you didnt use them). Best to get their breakfast upon booking. As the nearest food source is 7-11 which is located across the street + a little walk. There is a carinderia too a few establishments away (you walk to your right from the hotel) Key Card. They seem to provide only 1 key card/room. Their key card sometimes doesn't work. Best that when they try to fix it, ask a personnel to go with you so you dont need to go up & down. It happened to me, I have to go down 3x.

We stayed for 3 nights in the Orchard Cebu Hotel & Suites. Our stay was very pleasant and we would recommend this hotel to other people. It was the cheapest out of 6 hotels we stayed in, in the Philippines, but considering the price it was one of the best. The good things: - clean rooms. Not 5 star cleaning, but enough not having to worry about hygiene. - Shower was the best we had out of all hotels (including Marco Polo) - Airco was good, temperature can be set - Rooms were spacious - Breakfast was excellent. Not much choice, but good quality of food Things that can be better: - The mattress was a bit stif, not as soft as in other hotels - There is a window in the room, which is nice to wake up from the sunlight, but there is no view.

pro-new hotel, new facilities. -very comfortable bed. -professional and helpful staff. -on site spa. con-exterior hotel design near 7th floor elevator incredibly leaves a one foot gap of permanently open space that leads straight to the ground! if you have children, be very aware because the gap is easily accessible by any curious child. this insane design flaw is a tragedy waiting to happen. -the curtains don't block the am sun from coming in. get a room on the west side of the building. -the breakfast was less than stellar if you're a westerner. appears that the breakfast was geared toward korean patrons.

Went to Cebu at 7:30 in the morning, and went directly to work, went to the accomodation at 12 noon to check in and went to work again at 12:30. I went back to this accomodation about 8 in the evening to rest. Towel, soap and shampoo were presented by the staff. Unfortunately the room I rented has no toilet. The toilet is located outside. You have to go out first if you want to use the toilet and staffs there can see you go in and out. But that was my only problem. The house looks a little old but it was still good. The room was airconditioned, has two single beds, has electric socket each bed for charging purposes. The house is silent. I just slept and went back to Manila early in the morning.

No frills hotel Cheap but good breakfast, BAD coffee though.. Toilet was a little cramped, but it was clean and water pressure was ok. Not the best location The service though, was top notched! When we arrived, the guard greeted us and offered to take our luggage. When we got to the reception, the forms were already prepared ahead for us to sign. We presented our IDs and the staff carried our bags and led us to our rooms. It was a 4 star service on a 2 star category hotel. They also conveniently gets us cabs everytime we needed to go out. Good value for money!

We had a beautiful and relaxing 2 week stay in a lovely cool double room in the Lylie Hotel in April 2017. All the staff were friendly and helpful and we had a super breakfast each morning in the Hotel Canteen. The room was clean and had good aircon, with a good shower room and comfortable beds. One of the best features was that the walls of the room we had were solid and soundproofed. We could hear the next door occupants playing the TV quite loud from the corridor, but could not hear anything from inside our room. Very easy to get a taxi from outside the Hotel and the taxi drivers never try to rip you off. Very cheap fares too. The Lylie Hotel also had hot and cold water available day and night - just outside our room from dispensers in the corridor. We will definitely be booking and staying at the Lylie Hotel another time. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in.

This was our second stay at R Suites. We were presently surprised that the hotel honored our pre-arrival requests. The rooms are on the small side, but average for this type of hotel. The beds are comfortable; rooms are clean and have sizeable CRs (bathrooms). There are three plusses to the CR. First, there is good water pressure. Second, there is a hot shower (that works). Third, being tall, it is nice to find a hotel that has tall mirrors with good lighting for shaving. We have stayed in much more expensive hotels without those features. ‘R’ is located on the road to the old bridge to Mactan Island – so getting to the airport and beach resorts is as easy as staying on Mactan if one is not staying in a beach resort. The location is an easy taxi ride to many malls (Pacific Mall, J Centre, SM City, Ayala and others). It is also easy to get to three of the most used ‘Government’ facilities, Philippine CFO, DFA and the US Embassy Extension. Locally, there is a ‘Prince Warehouse’ across the street that sells everything from food to stoves to stereos (US – think small Wal-Mart or Kmart). There are two pharmacies and numerous street food vendors selling lechon manok (roast chicken), liempo (roast pork) and more. The food in the R Café is primarily Filipino, but it is good and right size portions. Breakfast is fixed (limited choices), but flavorful. This is one of the FEW places we have found that serves BREWED coffee standard instead of instant or 3-1 (Instant coffee, cream and sugar in one package. We would recommend, and stay in this hotel again. There are no pools, spas or gardens.

Checked my bank account and the Freewilly was still pending. Took a cab to the place and went in. No one was around, the maids outside told me to go upstairs. The place was a mess woth clothes all over the place. Met the owner and he said his internet was down so he could not contact me about canceling my reservation. He had my phone number, he could of called. So, I left and had to walk about 8 blocks with luggage to the gate to get a cab and find another hotel.

We would have given all-around 5 stars for this stay if not for the slow and almost always full elevator service . It was probably the best in terms of value for a pretty competitive rate: super excellent cancellation policy, free breakfast, free parking, free airport/hotel shuttle transportation. The convenience of direct mall access with more than sufficient eating establishments as we’ll as other shopping/transportation/entertainment options within walking distance is what made this hotel a top choice for travelers and why I will definitely stay here again and again!
