"A wonderful place, warmly recommended. Not easy to get to though, at least two hours out of Chiang Mai. As accommodation is essentially open to insects and bed is protected by mosquito net only, visitors should also do a few minutes of research or chat to a doctor re Malaria etc. as the North of Thailand is the place where all recent strains of the multi-drug resistant Malaria parasite have emerged. Memorable though if you get there and the owner is great and very friendly.

"I stumble on this hotel on agoda and it was quite a drive to get to the place. It is located in a local tribe village and when we were there, in current covid situation, there is no other tourist around. The room was clean/ well maintained even there is so few customer. We had a good stay, enjoy the mountain views and we feel good to support the local villagers in these hard times."

The place has a really beautiful panorama view of the lush green mountains in the region. Friendly staff. The huts are very rustic but has comfy beds and nice open-air bathrooms. Breakfast definitely needs improvement. Probably one of the housing options in the region - 1-hour drive to Doi Inthanon national park.

The place is a bit far from the northern exit of Doi Inthanon park so it took us about 40 min to drive there. But the location has many attractions around it (small villages, waterfalls and elephants) and Noi (apparently the owner) was very nice to deal with.
