Crown Regency Hotel & Towers
Cebu City,Baseline Restaurant - View on map
"I book this hotel weeks before the Sinulog, so I was surprised that they still have available rooms. When I arrived at the hotel it was very busy because they have alot of guest, but they still manage to give me a good service. I was surprised that my room is big, to mention it has a living room. I was very happy that my money is worth of the value, I get the best deal. The hotel's amenities, entertainment areas and dinning areas are very good that you don't need to spend your time outside of the hotel, all that you need is already there. It was also the best location for the Sinulog festival because its in the heart of Cebu City where the grand parade happens.Right now, I'm already considering Crown Regency for my next visit in Cebu."

Harolds Evotel
Cebu City,Baseline Restaurant - View on map
"I stayed here for 1 month, so I got to know this place well. The internet connection here was the biggest draw for me as my work requires it. Other hotels near this class are at least twice the price in Cebu and older. When the internet was working, I would get speeds between 20-300 kilobytes/s (bytes, not bits). They were having difficulties with their ISP while I was there at the end of my stay though, so I changed hotels. Wired connections in all the rooms, wifi only available in the lobby downstairs. Harolds is a lovely lovely place. Brand new, so new in fact that they had to make me a custom "do not disturb" door hanger because they didn't yet have them made. The rooms are luxurious, 5-star level given their condition. Bed was gorgeous and comfortable. Harolds is a business hotel - no pool, very few kids. Perfect for me. Restaurant is ok. Expensive. Right down the street is Handuraw, which came to be my favorite place to eat. Wonderful pizza there and amazingly cheap prices. Ayala mall is within walking distance, although you can take a cab or a jeep too and they have tons of food options as well as shopping. SM mall is very close as well. Harolds staff is extremely nice. All of them knew my name within a day or so and I had not introduced myself. All very professional and helpful. They will make up your room pretty much any time of the day, so if you're on an odd sleep schedule, don't worry. I've never had better cleaning staff. They organized all my bathroom stuff and everything I threw around the room and on the desk. I always came back to a perfect looking room. Do your laundry around the corner, not at Lavada Queen (expensive), but the place on the opposite side of Escario street (I don't recall the name, sorry). If I come back to Cebu and the rate is still this good, I'll definitely come here again."

Escario Central Hotel (Quarantine Only)
Cebu City,Baseline Restaurant - View on map
"If you're not a fussy traveller and not looking for a room with a view, this place has the best location with the price range. It's a single story, compound -like set up with a perimeter fence - isolated enough that you won't hear the traffic and city noise. Yet it is in the middle of the city, with lots of restaurants and fast food joints within the area. The customer service via email also replies right away, so they're very easy to deal with. You can book it online, confirm your reservation by email and you're good to go."

St. Mark Hotel (Quarantine Only)
Cebu City,Baseline Restaurant - View on map
"My wife and I have been going to St. Mark's for the past few years when we are back in the Philippines for vacation. We typically spend at least a week or longer. The hotel is pristine. The rooms are always clean and modern and well maintained. The hotel truly has a look and feel of a 4 or 5 star hotel. The best part is the staff. Truly always warm, inviting, and always ready to help. The breakfast is awesome and includes American style bacon and native Cebu sausages, pancakes, eggs and other assorted foods, which make for a totally satisfying and complete breakfast. The room has a nice flat screen with great channel selections, strong wifi, hot shower, cold fridge, and cold aircon. But.........the best part......the BED. It has high thread count cotton duvet, sheets, and amazing pillows with an amazing memory foam mattress. We never wanted to leave the bed...in fact we missed a few appointments because of it, lol. The location is within a short walk to mango avenue and is right across the street from Redemptorist Catholic Church, which was nice. We attended Mass there, which makes it very convenient. Taxis can easily be hailed by the doorman, just be kind and leave a small tip. This hotel probably should sell for 80-120 a night easily, but I am glad they keep their prices in check and still offer an amazing bargain. We will continue to come back in future years and hope to always have the same awe inspiring service and ambiance we have come to know and love. "

"This place is by far the best value for money anywhere in Cebu. Friendly staff, great wife and decent location. will be my first choice next time I'm in Cebu. I really do wish the breakfast didn't come with instant coffee and offered any type of fruit or vegetable."

Citadines Cebu City (Multiple-Use Hotel)
Cebu City,Baseline Restaurant - View on map
"Wow. Just wow. Simply put - without a doubt one of the best places to stay in the City. Already stayed twice in this condotel and I can say that everything is close to perfect. ROOM: The moment you step in, you'll be amazed at how clean the aesthetic of the room is. It is simple, functional, and cozy . The fully equipped kitchen is amazing, bonused with a full size refrigerator. Can't ask for anything more. One area of improvement could be better cleaning of the windows to see the amazing view of the mountains better. STAFF: I've booked a lot of hotels and none, let me say that louder, NONE had treated me better than the people at Citadines- from ground security, to lobby, to restaurant, EVERYONE IS SMILING AND FRIENDLY. As a young Filipino traveler I am not accustomed to this type of treatment as I usually find staff only really helpful towards foreigners or rich looking Pinoys, half joke. The Citadines staff has won my heart over and renewed my love for hotels and staycations LOCATION: Perfect jumping point for just about anywhere. Ayala mall is a 60-peso taxi away and 100php for sm city. The hotel itself has an amazing restaurant- Abaca Baking Company. In the complex you have a Robinsons supermarket for groceries, tons of food options like milktea (BTS), snacks (Ministop, Potato Corner, Bo's Coffee), and even a korean bbq place. If you hadn't caught on yet, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE. And I can't recommend it enough. Stay awesome Citadines. Hope to stay with you again soon."

The NS Royal Hotel
Cebu City,Baseline Restaurant - View on map
"The hotel is located in a very great area where you can find almost anything. If you're looking for a night life, mall, convenience store, 24 hours restaurant and just about anything. You can find it just a few steps away. Unfortunately, i'd like to emphasise is they should be keen on clean white towels. if it's not too much to ask. The towels smelled of smoke! I love the room. It's so spacious and big but the space was not maximised. Perhaps maybe i could be wrong this could be a space where they can place an extra bed. A shout out to your security guard. Both morning and night shift since they are always very proactive. To the housekeeping team especially to the lady with a short boy cut hair, sorry I didn't get your name. A very hardworking person who deserves to be commended. "

KC Studio 1 at Horizons 101 Cebu
Cebu City,Baseline Restaurant - View on map
"The condo is in perfect condition and the building is new construction. Teresa, the manager allowed us to check in early as the ferry arrived very early in the morning. There is a Robinsons a few blocks away and Foodrama is about one block away. Taxi service is always available. The condo itself had excellent air conditioning, comfortable bed, well supplied kitchen, excellent WiFi, excellent cable TV, and a modern bathroom with rain type shower head. There is a medium sized refrigerator, induction stove top, rice cooker, microwave, toaster oven, pots and pans, silverware and china service for two. The towels were new. This accommodation is so superior to a hotel that I hope to always book there when I am in Cebu. Email messages are responded to quickly."

Pillows Hotel Cebu
Cebu City,Baseline Restaurant - View on map
"Excellent value, highly recommended. I was headed for US Consulate(ground floor Water Front Casino, 9am-11am ONLY!!) and Pillows Hotel was in right location, at the right price for my needs. At check-in, 1,000p deposit is required. I'm heavy smoker, but trained (like my dog) to do my dirty business outside, so I got balcony room. A sign in room says "NO smoking or be charged 1,000P to sanitize room". Very large, clean, king bed, ref,hot water maker (no coffee maker), shower is big walk-in with good hot water pressure. For a taxi, it's only 150P, including tip, to go casino, or malls etc, usually 15-30 min ride. Going to airport aprox 200P and you better allow 60 minutes. Pillows' Hotel/Dining and even Security staff obviously well trained. They were helpful, they smile, and always gave impression my needs mattered to them. One drawback is many taxi's are not sure of hotel location since it is small and new. Good idea to carry a map with hotel location/address. Hotel printed one out for me. Only other drawback is limited menu, though it's good price value. Breakfast is ok, like what you'd make at home, served all day (6am-10pm). Had it 3 times. Otherwise, a few sausage types (good flavor) or couple sandwich options. But many superb buffets, and restaurants are nearby. I caught casino buffet on half price night. Tried maybe a dozen of hundred things offered and each was "perfectly" prepared, and delicious. My appetite was bit off after being beaten up on the slots. Been to 60+ casinos in many countries and only machines paying at Waterfront Casino were BDP and Commerce Bank. I highly recommend Pillows as the place to stay as your base of operations, and you can use the money you save toward your shopping and dining. You can spend a lot more for a room in big name hotel, but Pillows location, cleanliness, and service has got to make it one of the best values in that area. "
