Different ”

We did stay in Verde around Christmas-New Year for 5 days and we did like it so much that we decided to stay for another 2 days. From beginning I was a bit suspicious because of the location but I have to admit I was very wrong. The hotel is excellent. Clean, comfortable, breakfast was a first class. I will book it for sure again on my next travel to Cape Town. The owners put a lot of effort into it. There are a small things which make a big difference like the garden, gym, free shuttle to town and airport and all that green aspect with electricity generated on the premises and sophisticated cooling-heating system. They even grow their own vegetables and produce their own honey. Let just hope that the management won't drop the ball and keep the high standards in the future. It is really refreshing to stay in the hotel like Verde.

At CT airport”

Verde cape hotel is just 5 min drives to cape town International airport. We have an early morning flight to catch so this is a good location. Room and front desk was good and helpful. Car parking is conveniently located at the basement link via lift to our room using access card for safety reason. Except for the many houseflies at the breakfast table otherwise, breakfast was a decent one.

Great stay at Hotel Verde”

Recently stayed at the Hotel Verde at Cape Town airport for one night. Hotel is ideally located next to Cape Town International airport. We really like the ‘green’ eco friendly credentials of the hotel. Rooms are comfortable service is great and the restaurant serves very good food.

Leed certified hotel with exceptional sevice ”

Hotel Verde is the perfect place to stay your first night in Cape Town, and even longer. It is right across the street from the airport, but the rooms are so quiet you would never know it. This is the greenest hotel in Africa and they practice their commitment in all aspects including sourcing all of the produce and meat locally for their restaurant. We had an exceptional Italian dinner and the buffet breakfast is bountiful. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and show great pride in their hotel's commitment to the environment. This hotel has only been open for a few months but it certainly has its act together!

Good location”

Cape Verde is a good hotel - although they did not confirm my two requests for an airport pick-up. I eventually found the right place for the shuttle bus (two international telephone calls later). Excellent room in all aspects - and the hotel really takes the eco / green approach well. A tiny organic) plunge pool is offered - not really a swimming pool as such. Good breakfast and dinner options. Recommended.

Perfect”

The location of the hotel to Cape Town airport was just perfect for us, the hotel sent a bus to collect us from the airport on our arrival, the staff were so helpful & made sure we were happy with the room, they also asked for our flight details so they could make sure we had transport to the airport on time for our flight. We had a lovely lunch once we had settled into our room, also the breakfast choices were there to suit all cultures, would recommend this hotel & hopefully we will return on our next journey to Cape Town.

Exceptional”

We stayed one night between flights and were very pleased with this "airport" hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the dinner in the evening was excellent and there was a great selection at breakfast. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. They looked after our cases while we spent our last day in Cape Town and even arranged for a driver for us who, for a very reasonable price, took us to the waterfront, collected us at the end of the day, took us to the hotel to collect our cases and on to the airport. Really excellent service.

Extremely impressed. Stayed at Hotel Verde at the beginning and end of my trip due to the close proximity to the airport. Upon my return the staff asked me how both the wedding I had attended and the safari I had gone to had been. Very personalised service. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Cape Town.

Excellent Hotel”

What a pleasant surprise upon entering this "quirky" hotel rated as the “greenest” hotel in Africa. You are confronted with a wonderful, eclectic mix of various types of artwork, both in the lobby, restaurant, garden, rooms and hallways - it's everywhere! The whole experience from arrival to departure was a pleasure. The staff, the rooms, the food were all extremely good. Breakfast and the variety and quality of foods on offer was great. We will definitely be staying there again on our visits to Cape Town, when needing somewhere so conveniently located to the airport.

Perfect location”

By getting a late flight into Cape Town gives you a cheaper ticket, staying at the Hotel Verde gives you a perfect nearby location to relax, enjoy an excellent meal, and access the car rental area first thing next morning to commence your vacation.

We found this hotel convenient for the airport, clean, friendly, and most interesting. The environment conscious ethos was sometimes obvious, but sometimes not - who could know that the lift generates power on the way down? So the neatly presented signs were enlightening and interesting. We loved the wetland garden full of indigenous plants, wood chip trail, and swimming pond. The artwork on our floor was wonderful and had been created with a school class and black artists who turned the kids’ paintings into fabulous collages with scraps of tin can and fabric. The hotel management obviously collaborates with the local community. Wonderful, we highly recommend Hotel Verde.

From airport pick-up to drop off, the hotel delivered at 100%; it's beautiful, clean, has excellent service and food, and lovely staff. I can highly recommend it to the most discerning traveler, needing to stay close to the airport. I wish they had an other property in Cape Town.

Excellent, relaxing, beautiful”

Wonderful. It is a green, environmentally friendly hotel that is walking distance from the Cape International Airport. There is a state of the art gym, very modern fittings, wonderful breakfast buffet, well equipped business centre, and very capable staff.

The perfect airport hotel!”

With breakfast that begins at 4:30 AM so you can catch your flight, and on the half hour shuttles to get you to and from the airport, Hotel Verde is a marvel. They fed us some great sandwiches when we got in at 11PM. Staff was uniformly excellent -- smile goes a long way after 20 hours of flying from the US. The only downside is that there isn't a sister location in town!

Great Hotel, Close to Cape Town Airport”

We had am early morning flight and this hotel offered a free shuttle service. The shuttle promptly dropped us off in the morning, and the airport is only few minutes drive away. The rooms are comfortable and there is restaurant and bar on site. I would recommend this hotel to any one looking to stay close to Cape Town airport

Perfect airport Hotel”

The hotel was perfect for a night stop before heading into Cape Town. The facilities were good and the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent , served in a dining room facing lovely private gardens which was a great surprise in the surrounding industrial area. Definitely to recommend!

Exceptional”

The hotel is convenient location if you are transiting in Cape Town. They have a free shuttle to and from the airport. But the airport neighborhood is very unsafe. You cannot go out anywhere else.

Great for overnight stay near airport”

This is our second stay at the Verde. It is a modern, crisp hotel with a good shuttle service to the airport. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great. The bed extremely comfortable - what more do we need?

One night stay”

This is a great stop-over hotel to use that is close to the airport. They give you tokens for doing eco-friendly activities in the hotel. Cute concept. Each room has tips for saving water during the current water crisis in Cape Town. Restaurant food was good.

Hotel Verde lives up to its values Very environmentaly concious . The location is excellent for an overnight stay before your next flight. The food was excellent and very good value with service to match. There is a free shuttle to the airport to complete your stay.
