most relaxing stay in baguio”

The Hotel Veniz in Burnham is the best choice to stay if you are going to Baguio whether with family or friends. It is in the center of the city and literally accessible to almost everything & anything. Ou room was spotless and beds are comfy. At night, you just literally step out of the hotel and walk a few steps towards the "ukay-ukay" night market. Breakfast buffet is awesome. You"ll never go hungry since Mcdonalds and a supermarket is just downstairs in the same building. Room delivery is available and price in the menu are all suprisingly affordable. Staff are friendly especially the security guards in the basement parking. Room check in and check out is a breeze. I will definitely stay here again with my family in our next Baguio visit. Thank you for making my daughter's first Baguio visit a memorable one. Job well done!

Delightful hotel”

very nice location

although the weather did not cooperate because it was raining all the time, we really enjoyed our four days three nights stay at hotel veniz. we can log-on to the web via the complementary wi-fi access, very much appreciated. also, the complementary breakfast was great, love the food. the hotel have very friendly staffs, service with great smiles. you will feel at home away from from home. room size is also very good. off peak tariff is very reasonable. hotel location is great, being in front of burnham park and its proximity to the busy session road and baguio market where you can find anything and almost everything. it is few minutes uphill walk to the cathedral and sm city baguio. and not to far to the victory lines bus station. i'll be suggesting this hotel to all my friends. thank you very much hotel veniz. hope to see you again, soon.

good place to stay in the heart of baguio city”

accesibility, very accomodating staffs

we stayed in the hotel last march 10-12, 2011. but since check in time is 2pm and we arrived at around 4am we have to pay for an early check-in charge.. the bathroom was great. Though it has no bath tub, still everything is just so good. They provide, clean towels, toiletries and hair blower as well. our booking includes buffet breakfast. everything that you would want for a breakfast is there. Another plus to this is hotel, is its location. Burnham Park is just in front of the hotel. The building also has Mc Donalds, Veniz Grill, Betty’s Kitchen (fast food type), Veniz Café and Sunshine Bakeshop. Public market is also very near. The hotel is very accessible by cab and jeep and is also very close to over pass and pedestrians. For techi people, don’t worry since hotel provides wifi service. All in all, our stay there was very good and safe. Highly recommended to all backpackers, friends and families staying in Baguio.

Good value, great location!”

We chose to stay at Hotel Veniz because it is conveniently located about 5 minutes walk away from Burnham Park, and a short taxi ride away from SM Baguio. They have a small parking basement. We stayed in a Deluxe Trio room with a city view which, unfortunately, also comes with the noise and smell of all the cars passing by. The overall appearance of the room was good, although it probably will need to be upgraded soon. The beds were comfortable, there was ample space to walk around, and there were plenty of outlets to charge our devices. Two cons for our room were that the a/c seemed to be on a timer and kept shutting off (although Baguio is still cool around early July, I like to sleep with the a/c on) and that it was difficult to get the water in the shower at a perfect warm temperature -- it seemed the only settings it was able to go on were scalding hot and freezing cold. Overall, though, I think that Hotel Veniz was a good place to stay for the price I paid.

comfort location breakfast

This is our third time to visit Baguio and tagged this as our best so far. The hotel location is great because of its proximity to all major places we use to visit whenever we're in the city. The room is so comfy and everything you need is there. Breakfast buffet is a surprise and we enjoyed it lot specially the butter and strawberry toast..yum! We use to stay in different hotel everytime we go to Baguio, but moving forward, we'll stay at Hotel Veniz again and again and again..

Great Location! ”

Hotel Veniz is located at the heart of Baguio. Stone throw away to all the things you need while on vacation such as food establishments, souvenir shops, pharmacy, market, transportation, attractions, banks, ATMs and ukay. The reason why we keep on coming back on this hotel is its convenient location. At night, in time for Baguio's night market, all you have to do is go out of the hotel lobby's door and you'll find yourself in the ukay-ukay heaven! LOL! At the end of Baguio trip, drop by at the public market, tag along your bag and fill it up with fresh produce from the mountains of Benguet! Service is great. They attend to your needs in no time. Checking in and out is a breeze and will not take you too long. Receptionists and other staff are accomodating and hospitable. They provide parking slots for those who travel with cars. In the mornining you'll find newspaper at your door. You'll find the following in the room: cable tv with RC, phone, toiletries (soap, shampoo, dental kit), bath towels, bedroom slippers, mini ref, closet with hangers, laundry bag and ample space to move around. The only down side of this hotel is the breakfast. Ever since we stayed here, their breakfast buffet did not change nor improve. It mainly consist of Pinoy breakfast choices. It's not that bad but it could have been better. Overall, great hotel. I recommend it to those who are looking for a place in the heart of Baguio.

Great hotel”

affordable,cleanliness,location

It is my 2nd time staying in this hotel and yet i have not failed with my expectation. The hotel rate is very reasonable.Somehow the hotel room is spacious. The hotel has good room facilities. The room has fridge and coffee maker aside from the usual stuff. Hotel staff is very attentive in the needs of their guest and courteous. Unlike other Baguio hotels who doesn't even provide tourist info this hotel gives pamphlets to provide directions in roaming around tourist attractions in Baguio and even the approximate taxi rate from the hotel to the tourist site. This will give tourist assurance that they are not going to be fooled by taxi driver. You can even keep in touch with the staff when necessary coz they have mobile number in their pamphlet whenever you need assistance. The cleanliness of the room is also good. They made up your room wheneever you said so.The buffet breakfast is also good not repeated the folowing day. Also one more good thing about this hotel is the location. It is located at the city proper near parks, market and malls. Just in the hotel building supermarkets and several food chains are available. My only complaint is that shower is not working well. It doesn't adjust on water temperature. When you you adjust hot or cold it is either very cold or very hot water will come out the shower.I almost get burn. I hope the hotel will fix this.Overall aside from its shower my stay was fine.

When in Baguio, stay at Veniz!”

Accessibility to everything, room is big very clean, staff are attentive to our needs and food ( breakfast ) is good for the price we paid. Surely avail of this hotel next time we go up to Baguio.

It was excellent, we enjoy our stay at Veniz but not in baguio in general as there were plenty of people over the holidays. It was good as Veniz was able to compensate our stay in Baguio. There was parking at basement so we just take a cab roamimg within city proper.

ACCOMODATING.COMFORT.RELAXATION.

Well the 3 of us were to take the SLU-CEE, and we were from Nueva Ecija which was very far away from Baguio. So needless to say the trip to Baguio alone was stressful enough, and there was still an entrance exam we had to prepare for! But with Hotel Veniz we immediately got to relaxing and the night before the test was very COMFY. The room was spacious but not too gallant, especially for our wallets! And whenever we had an order of the sort (extra pillow, food, etc.), room service was very fast! I give this hotel 4 stars! Good job :D

Affordable classy hotel with great staff”

great location, respectful staff

When we got there, the reception lady told us that the executive suite I booked weeks ago was unavailable so they upgraded our room to junior suite for free. Fine with me! :) Anyway, the location was great. It's near the city market, Session Road, SM, and right across the street is the Burnham Park Stadium. There were so many activities when we were there so instead of traveling far to see the city colleges perform in costumes, we were able to just walk a few steps to watch them. Our room also has a balcony facing the stadium so we were treated to a great view. Breakfast during our first morning was superb. There were a lot of choices although I'm not too thrilled with their fried food. Too oily. It's better to be there around 7am, though, when most are still asleep. By Sunday, a lot of people were already there and the serving dishes emptied fast. The staff did try to fill everything up as fast as possible. The pros: 1) Very respectful staff. They greeted us with a smile every time and they were so accommodating. 2) The wifi was fast. I was prepared to be disappointed so I bought my own usb connection. 3) The location is great. We were right across Burnham Park Stadium, very near Session Road, city market, and SM Baguio. This hotel is ideal for those traveling without their own car. 4) Price is reasonable. Cons: 1) Not for those who want peace and quiet. When we were there, there were so many activities held by the city that even at night we could hear them. 2) Security needs improvement. The third floor (where the restos are located) is open to the public so everyone can come in and go out anytime. The problem is that anyone also climb the upper floors and no one checks if they were guests or just passerbys.

Room was excellent

the staff was friendly, the location central to baguio and it's attractions. the water was not "hot" at best it was warm. however, the room was clean and quiet. my wife enjoyed the veniz buffet that comes with the stay but it was too filipino for me. they seem to target filipinos as all the other guests were not foreigners that i saw. they do have a mcdonalds attached so i was able to eat more familiar food. we would stay there again as the price and as mentioned the staff made it a pleasent stay.

after booking the hotel here at agoda, i checked the website but all i found is a typical type of hotel you could see at provinces like baguio. but as we checked in there, all we found out was a good ambience due to cheerful and lovely staffs who prioritize the needs of their hotel guests. we actually are not suited to a superior room but they've just allowed us to stay with an additional bed and of course, a charge. a lot cheaper, than acquiring another room to stay in. the hotel was very neat and classy just like the hotels we've been into here in metro manilia. smaller than the four and five star hotels we checked in, but in baguio, i really suggest you stay in here!

3 days 2 nights with family, booked 3 rooms”

Been staying here everytime we went to Baguio. Hotel staff and security were friendly and accomodating. Food at cafe veniz and veniz grill is not bad but there's always room for improvement. Needs minor repair on the room (leaking shower) but overall is excellent.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile”

accommodating staff, complete facilities and fastest operation of elevators

our stayed was really great. maybe the next time we visit baguio we choose to stay again @ hotel veniz. but one more thing would like to suggest maybe the food that they offer in their grill maybe they add more menu, so that the guest don't need to go out during their stay.

hotel in the most convenient location”

Stayed here last January 14-15,2017 and occupied a deluxe room for two. I can say that overall, we enjoyed our stay here. Here are the list of PROS and CONS. PROS: ✔LOCATION. Near burnham, public market, most of the fastfood and restau in session road, walking distance to Baguio Cathedral, ATMs and transpo. ✔ROOM. Spacious and clean. ✔BED. Comfortable.. we even asked for additional 2 pillows and it is delivered fast and it's free of charge. ✔AIRCON. In our room(509), A/C is functioning well and noise is tolerable ✔BREAKFAST. Included and it is buffet. ✔STAFF and MANAGER During our stay are very helpful and accommodating. We asked if they are accepting early check in but our room is still occupied but they immediately offered to just leave our luggages so we can easily roam around the city. We appreciate the gesture. ✔COMFORT/BATH ROOM. Both are functioning well. Hot bath is good.. strong water pressure given the fact that we are located at 5th floor. With complete set of towels and toilettries. With dryer too. ✔TV with CABLE. Big flat screen TV and the room is well lighted. CONS. ❎ BUSY STREET. Since the hotel is located at the busy street intersection, we can hear the noise of most vehicles that were passing by. It is a bit hassle since our room is located near the street... so i suggest to request for a room away from the street. ❎FOOD. Although it is a buffet style, the choices is quite limited. Ranges from fried rice with viand to cereals and bread... i am not totally considering this as CONS but the food has nothing special. ❎CHECK IN/OUT. Our check in is quite chaos... since there plenty of people checking out that time, waiting for 500.00 refund from safety deposit. People on queue to check in.. staff and manager(obviously) having a hard time identifying occupied rooms and to those who needs to be inspected for clearance to check out. They need a BETTER SYSTEM on how they will fix this without the client's hassle. On contrary, since we checked out earlier a
