Hidden Gem”
Amazing and helpful staff! Everyone was super friendly and always greeted us with a smile. Facilities are nice. Very clean rooms and spacious bathroom. Decor is nice and made us feel like we were in a 5 star hotel. There was a fridge available in the lobby area in case you wanted to store anything. We were there during a heat wave and despite the lack of air conditioning, opening the two large windows to air out the room made it very comfortable. It’s location in the 9th arrondissement made many sites accessible on foot (nothing was more than 30 min away walking). It was also on a very quiet street so nights were very peaceful. If you ever visit Paris, please consider this hotel!

The perfect hotel in the perfect location”
We had booked two single rooms, but when we went to our rooms we found that we each had a good sized twin room. When we queried why they told us that we had been given a free upgrade because the hotel was not completely full, and the single rooms are quite small. All the staff were exceptionally helpful, and spoke excellent English. There wasn't anything we asked of them that was too much trouble. We will be going back to Paris again, and we will definitely stay at The Touring Hotel. We would not want to stay anywhere else!

Nice hotel, friendly staff”
We enjoyed our stay. The location is great. It is close to the Opera with a bus stop and a metro station a minute's walk from the hotel that will take you to all major sites. It is also a walking distance from the bus/train to Charles de Gaul. The room was cozy, quiet, clean and with an impeccable bathroom (small shower enclosure, though). The small flat-screen TV has channels in several languages. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful, and are definitely a big plus. I read here many complaints about the breakfast, but we found it to be very cheap relative to a breakfast we had in a nearby cafe, which served much less food for the same price. The buffet includes quite a variety for only €10. If you like a big breakfast, that's your best choice. It's also Kosher (no meat), which is ideal for Jewish people and vegetarians alike. The only downside was the coffee, which we found to be tasteless.

a very nice hotel in Paris”
The room is big enough to place big suitcase. Bath is big and clean. Bed and pillow is nice. Life is install which is very convenient. Only pitfall is no free wifi and air-condition, but hotel do provide fan, which is enough for the weather in early June. Location near Gare du Nord Train Station, which is good if u travel by Eurostar from London. Hotel in Opera area, 15mins walk can go to Lafayette. Also the same metro line to Lourve. It is a very good stay in Paris.

Happy returning customer”
I travel to Paris every year and stay for a week or more. Hotel Touring is on a small street with 4 hotels in close proximity. I have stayed at 3 and keep returning to Hotel Touring it is by far the choice for me, I won't even bother with the 4th. The breakfast is great value, the rooms are clean and although small are not too small and the staff are wonderful, very friendly and obliging. It is very close to two Metro stations and there are a number of local Restaurants. I look forward to my next visit. Only negative is the WiFi with pre-paid vouchers, a kettle and small fridge in the room would be nice, but there is a fridge downstairs which can be shared between guests.

A gem in Paris”
Hotel Touring is right next to Cadet Metro, a quiet location but easy to get into centre of Paris and to the main stations. The room was fairly basic and a little old but very clean, with comfortable beds and no noise from the road. The hotel room had a decent sized ensuite bathroom and plenty of hot water at all times. The hairdryer was a bit dodgy though, so bring your own! We didn't have breakfast included in the hotel but found the cafes in the area where we did eat were very dear.

Small comfy hotel, close to whatever”
Very kind staff, helpfull. Spacious room. You do have to pay extra for everything (WIFI etc). 15 minute walk from Paris Nord station, a 15 minute walk to Sacre coeur, a 25 minute walk to the Seine. This was our second stay in this hotel, and we won't change any more

Great central Paris hotel”
This was a great 3 star hotel. Ideally located fairly near to Opera and Gard du Nord. Breakfast was a little disappointing more choice of hot food needed. The rooms were spotlessly clean, although there was no airconditioning which could be an issue in the summer. No free WIFI which should be provided. To summarise a really good well located hotel for a short city break.

Excellent service at a clean and comfortable hotel”
The motel is located on a quite street just off of rue Lafayette and within easy walking distance of hard rock cafe and some excellent shopping and dining areas. Rooms are a little small but well set out and clean. There is public transport just around the corner that will take you to the tourist sites or it is quite a nice walk to Notre Dame and Opera from the motel. The staff at the motel all speak good English and are very helpful. Overall we had an excellent stay and were very happy with the service.

Quiet friendly hotel on a small side street ”
I booked a single but appear to have been given a double (this seems quite common in Paris). As such the room was a good size, extremely clean and relatively quiet. The only irritant was the key to the room. This was of the old fashioned variety and extremely difficult to use. The staff were extremely helpful. There is a buffet breakfast but I never gave it a try. Two metro stations are within close proximity.

Great place for a short City break”
Had a good time at this hotel. Rooms were comfortable and quiet , breakfast was Ok but they could improve the choices. No airconditioning in rooms which could be an issue in the summer. Reception staff efficient but not warm. The hotel is ideally located for shopping and sightseeing approx 10 mins walk from Gard du Nord, a similar distance to Opera and Galleries Lafayette. All in all a great budget hotel.

Fabulous!”
This was not our first stay and we will definitely be back. We enjoy the convenience to the Roissybus from the airport and proximity to department stores and Opera House. Furnishings are plain but correct and rooms are spotlessly clean. Staff is very helpful.

Great Location, but old building with small rooms”
Small hotel occupies parts of two very old (like 200 years old) buildings (one with street front). Elevator in the second building is so small, only 2 people can fit. No air conditioning, very small TVs in tiny rooms, no room service whatsoever. Everything looks old and worn, but clean, they do cleaning daily. If you are in Paris to see the city and want only to sleep in there, than I guess it's OK. I would give it 2 stars but it is advertized as a 3 stars hotel for some reason. Location is good; 15 minutes walk to Galleries Lafayette and Opera. There are two grocery stores (inexpensive milk, yogurts, cheeses and wines) and beautiful bakery all about one block away in different directions. The bakery is one of the best in the world and sells perfect fresh croissants, éclairs and a lot of other breads and baked goodies every morning (except Sunday). Metro Cadet is just 3 min. walking distance.

Vlaue for Money”
The room is pretty large by Paris standard. Besides a double bed, there is still plenty of space to walk around. And, the bathroom is also pretty spacious. Loation is convenient too. It is just a 3-minute walk from metro station. You can even walk to Galeries Lafayette and Printemps in less than 10 minutes. It is definitely value for money! But there is a couple of things you should note before you make the booking. There is no air conditioner and no free wifi.

Good location and value, but little charm”
This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the Louvre and other major sights. It is well maintained, and a good value for the money. Nevertheless, the hotel is somewhat impersonal, and it is definitely not for romantics. A safe is provided for an extra charge. Breakfast is buffet style, and is ample, with more than the usual continental fare. The coffee, however, is somewhat weak. Bathrooms are large. There is an elevator.

Lovely old hotel but wifi is not free”
The Hotel Touring was easy to find and quite close to the MRT with helpful front desk staff. The Parisian style rooms were nicely appointed except a fridge -mini bar would have been very helpful. There was no air conditioning only a fan - lucky we didn't need it. The other potential problem although it didn't affect us is that the room walls are thin and you can hear people in the hallway coming and going. Also - don't try to check in before 3pm. The most annoying part was that although they advertised WiFi was available they didn't mention it was at a cost. All other hotels we stayed at through out Europe over 7 weeks did not charge - Hotel Touring you should update your practices.

Quiet hotel in an excellent location”
We spent 4 nights in Hotel Touring. The hotel has a superb location as there are 2 supermarkets and a metro station within 2 minutes walk. The room was clean and cosy. Only disadvantages would be that the in-room safe and wi-fi was chargeable and that the room lacked a kettle. The hotel is most suitable for budget travellers.

Good location but a bit small”
Staff at reception are friendly and some of them speak English. The hotel is very close to 2 metro stations from 2 different lines, so it's very easy to move around or come back to the hotel. The rooms were clean but a bit small (normal in Paris). The Hotel rooms are quite retro decorated, so if you like the retro french style, this is going to satisfy you.

clean, convenient location”
My husband and I stayed at Hotel Touring for 5 nights for our honeymoon. We had the room with balcony however not facing the street. The hotel is located ard 2 minutes away from their Metro station Cadet and walking distance to La Fayette for our shopping. There are 3 halal restaurants located nearby too along Rue Fayette. Despite not having free wifi, we still enjoyed our stay due to its location.

Pleasant stay at a centrally located hotel”
Nice hotel with character and friendly staff. Like the winding staircase, tradeoff is the small elevator. We had room with a nice balcany overlooking Paris rooftops - pretty. Location is great, about 5 mins to the Metro. Plenty of restaurants around the area, close to shopping as well.
