A Simple Getaway to Nowhere”
I chose this hotel for a night stay on the New Year Eve because I didn't make earlier preparations to celebrate the New Year and my kid's school holidays this year. I'm glad I opted for this hotel because the highway (especially to PD) was packed with traffic that day. Actually I didn't think Tenera would be a great place because it is not located in the commonly known hotel area in Bandar Baru Bangi. But to my surprise, the place is so peaceful and convenient - lots of free parking lots, very friendly staff and great food. We mostly enjoyed the "ladies swimming pool" on the 4th floor. Didn't try ordering any a'la carte but breakfast was fantastic, lots of choices. Probably a good place to have reunions because apartments are also available and there's a nice seafood restaurant in the building next to the hotel lobby.

I've stayed here several time. And i think if someone want to go to Bangi, Putrajaya, UPM and near that region, they better stay here at Tenera. Very good staf, very good room. But at weekend, i suggest they do something about over pack on breakfast. So many people, with not enough food and place. But other than that, i think this is the best place for that region.

Tenera is word that i cant comprehend every sense of it. As a newly hotel open next to Bangi Kip Mall, you should not look further as it has almost everything. Swimmimg pool for separatedfor men and women, gameroom for children and family activities, prayer room that can accomodate nearly 100 people, mini mart that sell with selling price almost no difference than outside shops. Andthe surrounding? Being the newly crowned king on the hill .. you will feel that you are treated equally hailed as king

Kebaikan dan keburukan”
Pertama kali saya menjejakkan kaki di hotel tenera, saya tersalah naik lif. Saya termsuk lif staff. Nasib menyebelahi kami apabila bertemu dengan staff hotel tenera dan beliau menunjuk arah lif yang betul. Ketika saya tiba di lobi hotel tenera, saya disapa dengan mesra oleh staff receptionist (tidak ingat nama beliau). Staff yang bernama Khairul Aizat bin Ayub sangat peramah dan baik. Beliau membantu saya dalam banyak hal. Antaranya membawa beg kami sekeluarga ke bilik kami (718), membawa kami mandi di pool renang, memberi air mineral dan teh/nescafe. dan melayan kerenah kami sepanjang kami berada di hotel tersebut. Suka untuk saya nyatakan bahawa staff yang bernama Khairul Aizat ini,wajar dipuji dan diberi anugerah kerana sikap, layanan dan mutu kerja yang sangt berkualiti dan cemerlang. sekian terima kasih dari saya yang jarang check in hotel.

We love to stay at Tenera Hotel, the room is spacious, king bed is really comfortable, food is good and the view is great! (we can see bangi from 18th floor) Cons: lift lift lift. We stayed on weekend and hotel is full with people. With 21 floor, only 2 lift from 4 lift are function. Very crowded in certain pixhour

The room is spacious enough, great bedding, breakfast is good, portraying malaysian culture. Abt 5mins to bandar Bangi centre of almost everthing 😁. Love the dedicated swimming pool for ladies only. One thing need to improve is the front staff professionalism. 1) Pls dont address the guest as ‘dia’ esp when talking to your colleague in front of the guest. 2) Pls provide laundry delivering service to guest room, instead of guest has to collect at the reception.

EVERYTHING WAS FINE UNTIL THE CHAOTIC BREAKFAST TIME”
From the hotel’s reservation call centre to the check-in time to the good facilities to the friendly staffs, everything was just fine in place. Unfortunately, since the hotel was fully occupied during our stay, the breakfast location was very packed and cramp. No table to seat. No food to eat. The process of reloading the food is so slow. Seems like the hotel was not ready to serve such crowd. As a four star hotel as mentioned, Tenera Hotel should look and solve this matter seriously and immediately or the hotel going to face a business run down anytime soon. Common Tenera! Stay bold! The hotel stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The staff housekeeping (zulpan) was very polite and helpful, the location was very convenient for getting around and many activities. If we were to travel to kuala Lumpur again, we would definitely stay there again! (-) Menu breakfast need to improve. Chef need more friendly. Bit rude, when ignore my question.

Inconvenience of Lift Occupancy & Water Disruption ”
I stayed 2 days at Tenera Hotel Bangi for my training events. The room was good & clean. However, the lift occupancy set by the hotel management was ridiculous especially when we have a big crowd (almost 1k pax attended the training). They only allowed 7persons entering the lift per time regardless of the lift max weight occupancy 500kg. During this big training event, we face water disruption at the toilets and imagine 900pax have to take Q for the toilets situated at Level 2 , with 5-6rooms. Overall is good.

OK but not all OK”
I've booked to overnight because my old friend want to treat me lunch here. The food was very nice, there was so many option and I couldnt eat all. But its ok. Maybe next time. The only thing that not OK for me was: 96% guest recommend this hotel and gave good review, so eventhough the price maybe a bit high, but when my friend and I enter the Standard King Room we got, I was greeted with 2 cockroaches inside the toilet. I was about to enter the toilet, and suddenly it came out. We tried to kill them but only managed one, and another one ran away through the drain hole. The faucet for toilet was also loose so I need to detach it and use only pipe. When I plan to take bath, then I realized no towel inside the toilet, except face towel. I directly call receptionist and a staff came shortly after to send the towel. Thanks. Because I was a bit frustrated, so my friend and I decided to have in-room dinner. We call and made order to the restaurant, and luckily, the food was great. The oxtail soup was so delicious and the pizza also acceptable (for people like us who iare working in food industry). I had lunch session with my besties on the next day, and before we went back home, we dropped by at the toilet at restaurant level and the surau. We were greet with the cockroaches smell in the toilet. I think drain hole of the hotel got problem with the cockroaches. The surau is clean and spacious. Overall, i satisfied for some reason, but not fully satisfied for other reason. Hopefully the hotel can improve further on the pest control issue. Thank you.

The hotel is close to OUM Bangi and it saves time and cost to travel there. The room is ok. However, there are no shops around the hotel and so have to go to nearby places to get some food or stuff.
