Amazing view, big room, good location, bed wasn't ideal”

Nice big room. The panoramic ocean view room was amazing for the price, during winter time, it's almost 5x that in the summer. Good location, walkable to Old Nice where there are lots of shops. We got breakfast in our room on one of the mornings and the person bringing it in ran in dropped it off on the bed and ran back out very quickly. Saw this same person again the next day, seem like she doesn't walk, only run. The "king" bed was just two double beds pushed together, not great for couples. We ended up just using one side of the bed. Great room for photos. Overall good experience.

Fabulous”

Our first trip to Nice and the surrounding area. Hotel has breathtaking views. We were in a privilege room on the 5th floor and the view of the bay is breathtaking. Hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we will be back!!!

Everything about his hotel spells ‘winner’ and I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Beautiful view from every room; varied and complete buffet breakfast; staff goes out of their way to be helpful; location at the foot of Old Nice can’t be beat.

Hos hotel has the best location in Nice and a breathtaking view! Friendly staff go out of their way to make your stay perfect. Do spend the extras for a room with a balcony - it is SO worth it!

Room with a view!!”

We stayed in room 22 and I’m glad I spent a little extra on it. The view is spectacular. There is a balcony and you can surely enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine!!! The rooms are spacious. The bathroom clean. The staff are very courteous. We arrived early however the very sweet lady at the reception let is check in early! The breakfast was good. The lady and the young man(sorry didnt get their names) were very kind and helpful!!! Just to be aware of a fact that the lift is too small may be just about fits two people, but that wasnt a huge issue. It is close to all the sights including the viewing point, the flower market, old town etc. Overall a 4 star hotel!!! If only there were a pool!!!!!

Amazing views”

Most rooms have balconies, some much bigger than others at lower level but view may be restricted by trees and street noice can be an issue however when balcony doors closed the buzz of city life disappears. Comfortable well maintained rooms and very helpful staff. Minimal food service amounts to continental breakfast at 18 euro per person. Cannot comment as not prepared to pay this with so many other options available close by. The stand out reason for booking here is the view of the bay. Recommended if you enjoy watching the sun set with a cold drink in your own private space. Hotel located right next door to the free lift that takes you to even more spectacular views of the city and port. Our tip would be lift up, meander down the winding paths. Enjoy!

AWESOME VIEW”

you won’t regret booking this hotel, I booked for a sea view room. They give me sea view with balcony exactly like the picture from catalog. The view just like movie scene. SO PERFECT. And we ask for breakfast delivery to our room, had it on the bed just becoz we so in love with the view and balcony. And also we got 1 bottle of welcome champagne and snacks. So good. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT FOR US. Room number 37. Love it.

Great location, great view”

Didn't like that upon entering hotel no one to welcome as you walk in and approximately 10 steps to climb to reach check in that no one helps out with luggage and then you had to bring in and out your own luggage to the room, that should be a standard common courtesy in my opinion

Good location and nice view”

The location and view of this hotel is quite nice and even within 15 minutes by walk, which you could arrive the heart of the commercial centra of Nice. Very convenient for the tourists.

Amazing View”

Could not beat the view from the balcony. Got the room at a great price and staff was very friendly. Easy walk into the town center to eat and the beach.

Easy base for a wander around the area”

We stayed here for a long weekend in the summer. The hotel itself is well positioned up the minor incline, with higher rooms afforded a great view down the boardwalk. We were welcomed into the room with a lovely half bottle of champagne and some nibbles - I am not sure if this was because I mentioned it was my partner's birthday or if this is standard treatment, but it was nevertheless much appreciated. (The only downside to this was that the empty bottle was never cleared during our three day stay!) The rooms are quite compact but each with their own small balconies, which are perfect for enjoying the night air. The bathrooms are equally small but clean. The staff were courteous and made the effort to follow up when our taxi did not turn up on time for departure. We had a decent stay and would be happy to stay here again if we were to revisit.

Excellent”

Good location! The hotel is just under the Parc de la Colline du Château and it is convenient for us the to enjoy the sun rise and sunset of Angel Bay.

Paying for scenery ”

Nice was wonderful. And the hotel has such a lovable rooms. But very small my 28inch bag could not open easily (i have to leave my bag in front of the door where i could open my big luggage. ). Last day i was leaving for London so they booked taxi for me. I told them i have no enough cash so making sure to call the cap that i can pay with my credit card. But they called the one would pay only in cash. I had to come back to suisse and i told them what happened but they were buy and ignored what happened. I just called uber to get the airport. I was kinda regret to stay there.

Exceptionell view”

We were here in December,it was wonderful. Alessandro the receptionist gave us an upgrade to the 7th floor. I think the view is also from lower floors very good. We heard no noise from the street,when windows closed. The room was small,but sufficient. If you have a lot of things it could be difficult to store them. Breakfast is good,also with sea view. Distance to beach and old town is very short

1: the sea view is very beautiful. 2: good location, and easy to find it. next to food street. 3: the lift is tinny like typical France lift in hotel. Only for 2 persons 4: The glass wall in show room is un-fixed. It is dangerous!

Great location, arrogant staffing”

Nice hotel! Fantastic location! Overlooking the coastline. Rooms are small & cramped but adequate. Although the amenities are nonexistent and the elevator is only big enough for one person and one bag (I'm not exaggerating). Please take this into consideration if you have any luggage bigger than a backpack and are on any floor higher the ground floor. Elevator size not mentioned anywhere on their website or literature. But I wouldn't brag about it either if it was smaller than a shoebox. Staffing attitude towards our arrival/questions/directions by one particular male staff member with arrogance and a "I'm going to give you short answers & I'm irritated by your presence" attitude. The female staffing in this hotel is extremely pleasant and very nice. In fact, the female mgmt staff member from an India graciously changed/upgraded our room to the only suite in the hotel after there was a "sewer leak" in our room. Additionally, she volunteered to carry our bags to the new room.
