Very Basic Hotel”
its a basic backpackers hotel, the rooms are not heated (it's cold at night at this altitude), and the bathroom consists of a very low pressure shower plus a cup and bucket to shower, and toilet. Its clean, but bring flip flops to shower as the floor is freezing. It's about a 2km walk to the bromo ticket office, which is misleading. On closer inspection there are two entries on Google maps for this hotel - it's not the one close to the base of the volcano! The staff were kind and helpful, but not very informed - they couldn't give clear directions from the hotel to the bromo ticket office, despite using Google maps or the local map. There were also no take-away maps to hand out. The food was also very basic, but we didn't expect much. Beware, you should arrange return transport from this hotel before arriving, since the public bus is not regular or reliable. We ended up (luckily) joining a minibus tour group since they had some empty spaces.

Need improvement”
I booked the hotel a month before arrival. As I traveled with a friend, I booked a twin bed room but when we got there, no twin bed available. The staff said the twin bed rooms has already booked by guests who came in person. It seemed to me they only knew there was a book by Agoda but they didn't seem to check the book in detail. The room is quite clean but not the bathroom. The heater got burned every time I turned it on. The breakfast was pretty simple but okay. The hotel is okay for an overnight without expecting much more than bed

Bad quality of facility with awful location”
The hotel is inconveniently far from the mt. bromo summit. If you intend to walk to Bromo instead of going by jeep, pick a place closer to the mountain. Also, there is just one restaurant in the surrounding area in Yoschi's hotel (bad and quite expensive one).The staff consisted of a couple of young boys who not only did not speak English almost at all, but also looked annoyed by our requests and even out presents. The wifi did not reach to our room and there was also no hot water. The bathrooms of neighboring rooms are connected so you could hear every word and sound from people staying next to you.

Dirty hotel with poor facilities, good view of the mountain. Clean air and cold temperature. Very hard to find good dining on sorrounding area. If you want to have proper dining, better to walk another 100 meter from hotels, there is another hotel that provide restaurant

Worst Hotel ever ”
Please do not stay here. It is by far the worst hotel I ever stayed in. Should be named as Hostel Sion View . The heater in the shower gives out intermittent hot water, there is no flush in the toilet, the 15 inch TV is not working, you just need a slight kick to break open the door , service is almost non existent, the place is filthy an rundown .

dont stay here. i will not stay here although if they give me the money. my wife and i have experiences of tour to many countries. this place is worst. first, the room is very small, smells bad, bed is sucks, pillow smells disgust so my wife wrapped it with her clothes and should sleep with many bugs altough i killed ten or more bugs before going to bed. second, toilet(never restroom) is so dirdty. we washed only our faces. and my wife used the toilet of yosh restraunt near there third, the staff are good, but only good children. they didnt know information of the region. when we arrived, the door of our room was broken so couldnt be locked. so we requested to move our room to the other but the child asked the manager via phone and they tried to fix the door. we should wait for two hours in front of the door. please dont stay here. if you dont have any reservation,
