Location Location Location”

Notre Dame is down the street the other directions a few steps is the Pompidou Hotel De Ville the list goes on . Staff very friendly all speak English I highly recommend the Hotel saint Merry

Great location”

We did have to climb stairs to the 5th floor.... But the location was perfect - walking distance to many attractions, subway nearby for further travel, felt safe walking at night. Train station to CDG is about 5 minutes walk, subway about 2 minutes walk.

Character filled but fairly basic ”

Being an old presbytery, it's a great building with beautiful old furniture and lots of character, in a good central location at a reasonable price, but it is pretty basic, no lift which may be a challenge for some and it's pretty noisy in the evenings, especially on weekends. The facilities are basic but reception is open long hours and the men working there were very pleasant.

Good”

The men who were behind the desk were incredibly helpful. There is no lift since the hotel is very old. I was put in a room 3 flights up the narrow circular stairway. At 73, I could not manage my suitcase, so it was carried for me by the employee at the time. The room and the bathroom were clean. However, the phone did not work so I had to go down to the desk to communicate anything. The soap was in minute containers with another hotel's name on them. The shower was hand held but could not be placed in a position to use hand free. The first room I was assigned had purple wallpaper that was peeling off in several places. It appeared to be a room where extra furniture was stored. When I stated that I found it unacceptable, I was moved. There was a television that usually worked. I would not stay here again.

Quirky and Central ”

Very unique and yet so close to Notre Dam and Pompidou that sights are within easy walking distance. Otherwise Metro is only a short walk too. To have breakfast served in your room, at a time of your choosing, is a very nice touch. The Staff are courteous and helpful and there is someone there all hours of day or night should you have an issue (not that we did during our stay).

A hidden gem in the heart of Paris”

I don't want to say too much, as I love staying here. It has a lot of quirky charm with its gothic wood panelling, gargoyles and ecclesiastic feel. The rooms are comfortable and a good size for Paris, but be warned there is no lift, and there are a lot of stairs, so not good if you have a lot of luggage

+ good location + interesting rooms + helpful staff - breakfast was normally always served very late and sometimes incomplete - very few plug sockets in room - area nearby can be noisy

best location; unique hotel and good value”

stay was pleasant. the staff were really helpful. my husband was sick during the trip and they tried their best to assist to provide extra heater and blanket. they also gave us two bottles of champagne.

Bit of a sour and cold reception, with no help at all with our bags (a couple and a baby). Staff seemed to warm up after.

Enjoyable stay”

It's our 2nd visit to St Merry and it suits us. We like the old oak style. We had a standard room (No1) on the second floor with two windows looking down onto the adjacent square and cafes. A hum of conversation at night from below but no noisy behaviour. Breakfast can be delivered to your room, but we chose to go to L'Acanthe café just down the street (next door to the most amazing Patisserie). The premium rooms are the most interesting, but are on the fourth floor and a long haul up the spiral staircase (no lift).

原来预订没有问题发生时还觉得不错，这次发生不能正常入住也不提前通知，而且还找一个环境恶劣的酒店代替，真的太令人失望！

Hotel dobry, ale ma wady”

Hotel w idealnej lokalizacji, ciekawe przeżycie też jeśli chodzi o wystrój - trzeba być gotowym jednak na to, że nie są wygodne w używaniu. Jeśli chodzi o wady - właściwie brak internetu. W pokoju nie było go w ogóle, 6 dni zapewniano nas, że będzie naprawiony i nic się nie zmieniło. W recepcji teoretycznie był "najlepszy", ale rozłączał się co jakiś czas i strony ładowały się co najmniej 5 min. Dodatkowo w łazience nie dało się przełączyć wody z kranu do wanny na prysznic. Przy przełączaniu na słuchawkę prysznicową woda leciała również z kranu i w związku z tym w prysznicu był bardzo mały strumień i zimna woda. Poza tym wszystko było dobrze.
