Overall OK”

Not many family suite can be found among the hotel in Cameron but Hotel Pop Ash is one of the very few. It's located in a very strategic place, walking distance to the Brinchang Night Market. The receptionist is from KL not local and little knowledge of the Place of Interest in Cameron. Hopefully she will be more knowledgeable after a longer stay and able to recommend places for the tourist.

We were very happy to stay this hotel. Staff were friendly and nice people and our room was clean and tidy. We were a bit worried if it is too small for two of us since there was some reviews mentioned the room size. but it wasn't small and bed was comfy. Not really problem but light in washroom was off all the time so had to use flashlight on our phone when we use washroom. Also there was a lot of mosquitos in our room. ( a window in a washroom was opened and couldn't close it) Over all we enjoyed our stay there and I recommend this place :)

Near to night market in brinchang. Just by walking for 10 minutes. overall good stay.will booked again afterwards.

very clean,very friendly staff, beautiful modern concept, located at the main town of brinchang..sorry, even outside seem budget local hotel entrance in which we need to go upstair to see the lobby...overall very satisfied..

The room is a lil bit small but worth for what u pay for. The hotel has no elevator, so u might need extra stamina to climb those stairs if your room is at level 3.

Strategic location and nice room”

Located in the heart of Brinchang, it is very convinient to get foods, find souvenirs and walking distance to Brinchang pasar malam. Parking was rather limited especially during festive season and long public holidays. New hotel set-up & comfortable.

Space”

It was a good hotel. Price was reasonable for festive season. Cleanliness was not an issue for me. The location was good as there are many shops nearby. However, the space of the room is not satisfying. I literally had to climb up on the bed to move to another part of the room. Its narrow. I think their queen size room is much useful for single people due to the size of the room. Talking about parking :( Dont be shocked if cant find parking.

The hotel is on a great location at the heart of Cameron Highlands . Room is small & very dirty . Bathroom size is ok but dirty . Staff is friendly but need to act fast to guest request . Unlikely to recommend this hotel to friends unless they improve the cleanliness !

Great location, pasar malam & medan selera are just within walking distance. Very friendly staff too. A basic modern room enough for resting. May have to climb up steep stairs, 3 storeys high to get to rooms, not for elderly n those with babies. Also the room could use free coffee & tea bag, as kettle was provided.

good location and can reach with easy guidance. price looks like a bit high with the facilities given by the hotel.

Acceptable”

First room (family room with 2 queen beds) was awful, it has wall stain, unclean floor and 6 cockroaches. I request room change but it was undone in first 30 mins because hotel owner was not to be contactable by phone. Lucky the hotel staff was helping me to change to another same type room which in next hotel and my family finally has good rest. I will not recommend Hotel Pop Ash to my friend because it is awful compare to what i got in same hotel few years back.

Good location. All within walking distance. Quiet room and we enjoy our stay. Cooling. Too bad, no lift facilities here. It should b under graded. Should be at 2 stars.

I went during christmas holidays(bad idea as it was super packed).. managed to get a family room via agoda.. but room was above my expectation.. clean, just nice for 5 of us, helpful staff, fast check in, lots of restaurants around that i dont need to go anywhere further The parking was difficult though

worse budget hotel ever”

booked Pop Ash Hotel, but when check in they bring me to their another hotel(YTS Hotel).The room is so small,no window,no aircon,the bedsheet and towel is dirty,the towel even is brown in color!Never ever stay this hotel anymore.
