Best Hotel Value in Cebu”

I always stay at the Hotel Pier Cuatro whether for business or pleasure. The rooms are super clean and comfortable with free wi-fi in the rooms and elsewhere throughout the hotel with a strong wi-fi signal. The employees are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The free breakfast is delicious! Great location! The hotel's located near SM Mall, Philippines Immigration, Ayala Center, tourist attractions and the pier, etc. You cannot find a great hotel like Pier Cuatro at their low-rate anywhere else in Cebu.

Perfect for a quick night stay.”

Hotel Pier Cuatro was a perfect and affordable place to stay over the night in Cebu. As a couple, we first ordered the standard room, but it had only 2 single beds. The staff kindly found us a deluxe room with a double bed, and the upgrade fee was nominal. Easy access to public transportation to visit around Cebu. We had dinner delivered in, and the complimentary breakfast was very good. Highly recommended if you need to staff a night or two at reasonable prices.

New Hotel with Great Staff”

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Pier Cuatro, it is a new hotel with walking distance to the ferries to Bohol. They have a great buffet breakfast and the staff was great. The rooms are very basic, but they are clean and fine to stay in for a night or two. Cebu, is not my favorite of cities, but I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Pier Cuatro and would stay again.

best budget Hotel I ever stayed in philippines”

This Hotel is the best budget Hotel I have ever stayed in philippines ! Usually phil Hotels below Peso per night have one or more significant disadvantages. Therefore I was so positively surprised by the Hotel Pier Cuatro. The staff is more polite and helpfull like in many far more expensive hotels that i stayed. The rooms are clean and also the restaurant was better as what I would have expected for a budget place. I will definetly stay there again on my next cebu trip.

Hotel Pier Cuatro is a very affordable hotel and a very comfortable place with free buffet breakfast already... just located at Pier Cuatro and very near SM Mall, so convenient for those who will just be staying for a night on a stop over trip bound for other places like Bohol and Leyte. That is why we opted to stay there a day before we travel to Bohol. I also enjoyed the very strong access to their Free WIFI in which i never missed my Facebook and yahoo mail updates during my stay there. The food is so affordable also and they even serve budget meals good enough to satisfy their guests. We also enjoyed our dinner while listening to some music in their Mezzanine... I really felt secured during my stay there. Even just with that very short stay, I felt the very warm accommodation and very hospitable ways of their staff. In fact, we went back there to stay again for a night when we returned from Bohol, a day before we went home to Tacloban.

Affordable place for a city tour, near SM Cebu”

I like a few things about this hotel 1. staff - The staff is nice. Their service is quick and they are easy to talk to. 2. room - our room is pretty small but has enough space to move in. 3. location - its 1 jeep/multicab ride away from SM City Cebu. 4. food - food is decent for the breakfast buffet. 5. Security - There is a 24 hour security guard and you can ask him to hail a cab for you. If you get a cab through the guard you'll be sure you wont get cheated by the driver. ^_~ A few things I didnt like 1. area - the area outside the hotel was muddy since it would drizzle now and then. There are pits and holes, and the place is still under construction. 2. vagrants - there are lots of homeless kids lurking around and will follow you around asking for money or food. Once we took a multicab to the corner of pier cuatro and walked to the hotel. 3 kids showed up and just kept following us until we almost reached the hotel. When they saw the guard they just ran off.

Excellent hotel with excellent location located at the city center,extremely clean & comfortable . Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff , makes our trip more interesting with advices & tips about the city ,supermarket ,shops,restaurants bars are within walking distance. Good clean above average modern budget hotel ”

the pier cuatro hotel provides above average accommodation for a budget hotel and is good value for money. this is a relatively new property, so the structure and decor do not look so tired and worn as many hotels of this category in the philippines. although basic, the so-called "deluxe* rooms are clean and comfortable with all the essentials, including a slightly noisy air conditioner, television, rather inadequate cupboard, phone but no fridge. all the rooms have good wi fi internet reception. however if a window is important, you will have to choose a "superior" room at a little extra cost. the buffet breakfast was quite basic but adequate and though it was essentially a philippine menu one could cobble together a decent western breakfast with egg, bacon and toast available. the buffet food hygiene was also above average with the correct high temperatures maintained which was reassuring. the staff were pleasant and accommodating and the service was good. although the pier cuatro hotel was a couple of kilometers from sm mall, the biggest shopping centre in cebu, it was still too far to walk and there were no convenience stores or amenities near by. taxis or jeepneys are the only mode of transport to and from this hotel. however for ferry and airport convenience the pier cuatro hotel is well placed. overall i would recommend this hotel as an above average budget hotel in a good location for travelers who need to catch an early flight or ferry.

A place worth every penny”

The place is very cozy, very convenient as it is very near to Robinson's Galleria Mall and has a 7/11 shop just a walking distance from the hotel. The pier is also so near so getting to the pier is less hassle. Very good breakfast package, healthy and sumptuous at the same time. A very recommendable place for me to stay if you are in Cebu City. I'll be back very soon. :)

Perfect Location”

I've stayed at Hotel Pier Cuatro a number of times now. It is a perfect location for me due to its proximity to Pier Cuatro, where I take the ferry to Ormoc. The location makes it a lot more reasonable to stay as opposed to using taxis to get back & forth. The actual facility is very modern achitecturally, but they don't provide a huge number of luxuries due to the small amount of money collected for admission to the room. You have to stay here a few times to figure out all the quirks of the place so that you can customize it to your taste. Once you get comfortable with these nuances, everything will be honky-dory. The overarching thing to remember is their superior location and the low price as related to having the breakfast included makes this a fine choice for someone who wants convenience as their highest priority!

Good and convenient location”

I came from Bohol Island to stop by Cebu City and stated there just for one night to stop over before flying to Boracay Island. The hotel is located only about 1.5 km from Pier 1 and right next door to a brand-new shopping mall called Robinson Galleria. There is a supermarket inside and good to buy whatever you like. If you catch a taxi from the hotel to the major sightseeing points, it costs you only around 70 pesos. Good recommendation!

Excellent for the price”

I had a bad start to my trip to Cebu, arriving at the port and paying 450 peso for a 2 minute taxi trip to the hotel!! But this hotel took the edge of my bad mood. Everyone smiles, and is happy to help, and they help fast. Very little waiting. The food in the Cafe/Restaurant is great, and not too expensive. The only bad side that I found was the small cockroaches in the room. A pest control every so often would be useful. I would also prefer an electric kettle in the room, rather than calling room service for a thermos of hot water, and two cups, when I want a coffee in the room. The location, although in an industrial area, is OK for Ayala, at 100 pesos for a taxi, or SM City at 70 pesos for a taxi. Overall though, I booked for 2 nights and stayed 5 as it was comfortable enough for what I needed, until I could get a flight out of Cebu...

Great stay, nice staff”

The hotel is well located, just 20 minutes walking from pier 1 (main departures of ferries are located here) and city centre is not that far (10 minutes with taxi). The hotel is clean, the rooms are ok, with your own bathoom, hot water in the shower and a/c. The staff is nice and helpful. You can ask taxi if needed. There's wifi in common spaces and also in the room (but in the room it doesn't work very well). There's a great buffet for breakfast and you can also have lunch or dinner in the bar at the groundfloor. I would recommend this place to a friend for a short stay in Cebu City.

Exactly what I need in a hotel”

I travel to Cebu from the other islands by ferry. This hotel is a short walk from Pier 4 and the same distance from White Gold grocery and department store. Just a little further is SM mall. I did not mind the small rooms and the lack of soundproofing in the wall as the price was right, the room was clean, and the location is exactly what I need in a hotel. I will come again.
