Value for Money! Good location and very accessible! ”

Had a free weekend to spare from my business trip in EU and decided to spend it in Paris. Booked Hotel le Relais Saint Charles for 3 main reasons: (1) The price is really good (2) Walking distance to Eiffel Tower (3) Right beside Dupleix Train Station. On top of the abovementioned 3 reasons, was able to enjoy (4) early check-in for the room is ready earlier than the committed time, (5) the room is very clean and the bathroom is spacious, (6) the staffs are really nice. Would definitely book this hotel again! 😊👍🏻

Great location”

Hotel Le Relais Saint Charles was an extremely convenient yet affordable hotel to live in. A train station was just across the front door of the hotel. My family of 5 booked a total of 3 rooms during our stay and they were spacious enough to house our luggages. However, one down issue we faced was that 2 out of the 3 rooms did not have hot water for 2-3 nights (and it was winter). While we did ask for a change in room, we understand that they were at capacity and hence, could not provide us with a change. Apart from the above, the staff at the front desk are always friendly and do not hesitate to share their personal recommendations for food / places to visit! :)

Good Hotel but could be better!”

Hotel le Relais Sainte Charles is located ideally for traveller wanting to be near Eiffel and also to experience the Dupleix Weekend market on Sunday morning and weekday market on Wednesday. The location of the hotel is ideal manned with courteous service staff who were more then willing to help you with your trip itinerary. Room size was adequate for the price paid and they are kept cleaned daily. What would make it a notch better is an inclusion of a mini fridge which was lacking in the room.

Good Location with Good Hotel Staff”

We love the hotel location which sits right infront of the Duplex Metro Station. Suprisngly, it was a quiet area with no busy buzz and noise around the hotel vincity. The staff was friendly with daily greetings daily with a smile. Free WI FI is also a plus for a 3 stars hotel. Room size was generous. Lotsa interesting F&B outlets around the hotels including asian cusine. We will come back to this hotel again when we visit Paris. Keep it Up Hotel le Relais Saint Charles! 😄

Exceptional”

I totally recommend this property for its location. The hotel is located right in front of metro station and also close distance to Eiffel Tower. You can also find a lot of supermarkets and patisseries around the hotel. The room is clean, comfortable and i had a pleasant stay in Le Relais.

WONDERFUL STAY”

It was a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room were clean and spacious. I had a room with backyard view. It was nice to open the window. It is walking distance to Eiffel Tower. About 10 - 15 mins walk. Along the way there is a lot of food stall and restaurants. There is a weekly market on Wednesday. You can buy your souvenir here. It is quite cheap compare to other place. There is only one train no. 6 that passes by the train station named Dupleix in front of the hotel. Then you can connect to other train to other main attractions. Mainly train no. 1. The only thing of concern is the door of the shower which is of glass. When it opens it sometime hits the sink. I was concern that it might shatter. The TV have 1 or 2 channel in English and news channel. Very boring. But you are here in Paris.... don't stay in the hotel room and watch TV... :) Overall, with very friendly hotel staff, I am really happy staying here. Keep up the good work!

Affordable hotel close to Eiffel Tower”

This is a little hotel about 5 minutes walk to Eiffel Tower. Very easy to get around Paris as the Dupleix station (M6 line) right in front of the hotel. The hotel room is small but the bed very comfy. The hotel provide 1 bottle water as welcome drink but kettle is provided to make tea and coffee. Breakfast is really nice with lots of choices of food. And only €12 is really good value for money. Really revommended. Definitely will come back when visit Paris.

Strategic location, Spacious, Safe, Well Maintained”

Strategically located right at Line 6 Dupleix Station, surrounded by cafes, restaurants, shops, convenient stores around, Eiffel Tower is within walking distance too. There are rooms (level 4 above) facing Eiffel Tower too, if you are lucky to get one (not full view but at least the top of tower). Saw a morning flea market on Wednesday morning right at doorstep. Spacious room & clean bathroom. Safe & comfortable. I love the place so much that I extended 1 night, and the staff by the name of Samuel is kind enough to approve my request for the same room, saved my hassle to check out & check in another room. This is really a great 3-star hotel at affordable price.

Top Staff”

The staff were fantastic, very obliging and spoke English. The room was comfortable, however the water pressure was quite poor .. having long, thick hair I went to a hairdresser. The location was fantastic .... a walk to the Eiffel Tower. We found the Eiffel Tower side of Paris more friendly and hospitable to tourists than other areas. The metro was across the road, so we had great access to travel the city. Recommend!

Awesome!”

The room looks smaller compared to the picture but totally not a big deal. All the basic amenities are available, the room is clean & tidy. The staff is very friendly & helpful. Location is also a plus, take you around 10-15 minutes to walk to Eiffel Tower (very easy to route). If you are the walkie type, just go straight from the hotel in about 5-7 minutes, you can find more restaurant & coffee options. Also you can reach out to Dupleix metro station right in the opposite side, but it's temporarily closed during my stay due to the ongoing strike (maybe I'm not so lucky with the timing this time). I had a good time here, highly recommend this hotel!

Great hotel”

We booked a superior double room, it had plenty of space for our 2 large suitcases. The bed was comfortable. We had a forward facing room and had a view of the top of the Eiffel Tower. The front office staff were extremely helpful and professional. They always had a smile and were happy to answer any of our questions. The Metro is literally outside the hotel which was a massive bonus especially when coming back later in the evenings. Overall it was a great stay. One note for the hotel would be to ask the cleaners to replace the bathroom amenities, soap and gels when they empty in the room. This happened a 3 days with us where the cleaners did not restock, when you are paying for a room per night you should be given a restock when empty, this was the reason for 4 stars for facilities instead of 5.

Break away ”

Our experience, this is a little gem 💎 Location is fantastic for buses and metro, the communication was excellent before and during stay, we were made very welcome the bedroom we had a view of the top of the Eiffel Tower was INCREDIBLE and we did watch how the tower sparkles at night. The detail in the room was a surprise as to the thought that went into it, from tissues to toiletries, coffee and tea. LOVED the cups, that looked like plastic but were not. Bed was SO comfortable and smelt lovely and was clean. Big telly, air conditioning, blackout curtains, luggage rack. Very clean. We had breakfast and we did really enjoy the selection of meat, cheese, salmon, bread even to toast, cereals, fruit fresh and dried, boiled eggs and much more, AMAZING COFFEE MACHINE, very well laid out and their breakfast room is ideal in basement. Liked the decor and how relaxed it felt. The hotel has a lift, it’s very smart in hallways,, very close to cafe’s restaurants where we did eat at. THANK YOU

Clean rooms and convenient location”

We arrived in Paris by train (Paris Est) and were relieved to find that the hotel is just across the street from the Metro station. First thing they did was give us a city map and marked the spot where we were. We were early, so they just kept our bags and asked us to be back in an hour or so. It gave us enough time to have lunch nearby. The Eiffel Tower is about 15 minutes away by walk. There are a few restaurants, bars, and grocery shops within walking distance. There's a Subway across the road, and Mc Donalds a few blocks away (that's open till 1130pm at least for when everything else is closed). There's a bar next door which is open till late hours of the night. We didn't feel unsafe walking back at night, even at 1am after the Metros were shut for the day. Our room didn't face the main road so it was very quiet. We got the 1st floor room (there's an elevator) and the view was of other buildings and homes, but we were barely in our rooms so it wasn't an issue. The curtains kept the light away so we could sleep in late. The rooms are smaller than when we're used to in other cities, but by Paris standards it was good. We emptied our luggage into the wardrobe and kept the suitcase in so it didn't feel cluttered. The rooms were cleaned everyday. There's a water kettle with an assortment of teas and coffee which was very convenient. The bathroom has basic toiletries and a hair dryer, and was quite clean. The front desk is manned 24 hours, and the receptionists spoke good English and were able to help us with directions. Would surely recommend.

Great location, close to Eiffel Tower and Metro”

The location is perfect. Since my husband and I like to walk, we basically walk to almost all areas, except those that were far like Notre Dame. We walked to Eiffel tower which was close by and even Champs Elysees. Valerie from the hotel made sure we have everything we need and that’s another plus side of this hotel. We also had a view of a tip of Eiffel Tower from our window :) Overall would be happy to recommend this hotel to more people.

Great location to see iconic Eiffel Tower”

This is a small hotel that is new and clean. Location was a plus factor as it is a nice walk to Ecole Militaire towards the iconic Eiffel Tower. There are bars, restaurants and grocery marts round the corner. Dupleix Metro station connecting you to the rest of Paris is directly in front of the hotel. Front desk is fluent in English and are always able to point you to the right direction, recommend restaurants or call you a taxi if you ask. The young men at the front desk are very friendly too!

Modern hotel in good location”

Great location right next to Dupleix Metro Station. There are cafes, McDonald and a mini supermarket nearby. The room is clean and very modern. even the lift look really cool! WiFi is free and very fast, and the staffs are very helpful as well. Breakfast is not included , it's quite expensive. Water is not very drinkable even after boiling. Weird taste with plenty of tiny particles. Water filter will be helpful! Best to purchase still water, which is very expensive in Paris as well. Will be great if the hotel provides complementary still water daily like some hotels do in cities that do not have very clean drinking water.

What you see on line booking is what you definitely get , no misrepresentation Mr. Jordan a highly professional , helpful gentleman assisted us in our check in; and most we needed , even providing us a fork , with a nuisance bystander outside hassled and stalked us , he made sure we were safe goin` out sightseeing ; he given us good information to locate Taxis easy and quick The hotel is very tidy , clean and chique. The location is awesome to all types of cuisines , The best value for money : ) for location, eat out , walk to Eiffel will take 5 minutes on a very ease stride : )

Great Location, drectly opposite Metro Station”

We arrived at the hotel on a Wednesday afternoon and were initially to disappointed to see a temporary market right outside the hotel door and the presence of the Metro line running past the front of the hotel, however all signs of the market were cleared by evening (the market takes place on Wed & Sat) and the hotel rooms were extremely sound proof so we did not hear the trains at all during our stay. Partial view of the Eiffel tower from our 4th floor room. Location is slightly more local which we prefer. We ate at some excellent local cafes in the same street and managed with our limited French. There is a outstanding local pastry cafe almost directly opposite the Hotel for breakfast & lunch. Would definetely stay here again.

Great location and Nice Standard”

We have stayed in this hotel 4 nights and have nothing to complain about.The hotel is on excellent location. Metro station is on the front door of the hotel and just 15 mins walk from the Eiffel. The room is clean and tidy, and the decoration of the room is modern and stylish with comfort beds. The bathroom is spacious and clean. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. The price is good value for money in Paris.
