Price: we could not believe what we saved by staying here. A well known chain hotel nearby charges twice what we paid at the Elizabeth and, having stayed there 3 months prior, we believe the Elizabeth to be the best value. The staff is outstanding! From greeting you every time when opening the doors for you to adding extra coffee in the room. Room features: very spacious room with additional furnishings, mini fridge for personal use, oversized bath, numerous bath amenities, full set of towels for 2, very comfortable king bed, A/C and heating system that is whisper quiet, large windows for plenty of daylight. The cleaning staff is very good at their job too. Everyone there is very pleasant and happy to serve you. They even clean and mop the brick driveway throughout the day! They will happily go to the street and hail a taxi for you or, if you prefer, they will call a private car to assist in your travels. The staff is outstanding! We used the restaurant only for the breakfast buffet which seemed acceptable to most, but I found few American dishes available on a daily basis though they did change some selections each day. I was accepting of this since they cater to many different cultures that travel to their city and it would be impossible to satisfy everyone every day. Also, it gave me the opportunity to try the local dishes. The bar has knowledgeable staff that know how to make drinks properly. The Hotel Elizabeth is also within a 2 block walking distance to the well known, super clean Ayala Mall. The mall is huge, with outdoor gardens and many restaurants to choose from. I personally give this place a 5 star rating for their overall cleanliness and willingness to make everyone happy. We liked it so much, that we cancelled another leg of our trip to go back to the Elizabeth to enjoy the last 4 days of our journey in a very relaxing environment. The Hotel Elizabeth is definitely the best we have found since our yearly visits to Cebu City started six years ago. The staff is outstanding as well as cleanliness of not only rooms, but the entire building. Room quality was beyond our expectations having a very large room and oversize bath facility. Water is HOT. Morning breakfast buffet selection was plentiful and had daily changes. An easy 2 block walk to Ayala mall for an endless selection of restaurants, retail stores and other facilities. We only had 4 days to enjoy it, but returned a week later to enjoy the last 6 days of our trip there. We have stayed at other high-end hotels in the area, but they don't match up to the Hotel Elizabeth's' overall quality. Stay there. You can't go wrong.

Great location and good value for money”

I traveled with my family including senior citizens and children. Stayed in hotel for our christmas vacation. We're from Bacolod City. Drove our car and the parking area at the basement was very safe. The rooms were clean, the food during breakfast are good, the staff are very friendly and accomodating, the location is very near ayala mall. Over all, despite the fact that we were stranded in Cebu because of typhoon seniang, we really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Elizabeth. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and if given the chance to come back to Cebu, I would prefer staying at the same hotel..

It's a good stay ”

I like this hotel first and foremost the accessibility to Ayala Mall where we get everything we need while in Cebu. You don't have to cross the busy street where a lot of jeepneys passing along Archbishop Reyes St. The hotel has very courteous, friendly and considerate staff especially during breakfast, that technically I have to pay half of the price for my 7 year old daughter who is a picky eater. I requested not to pay for her coz she just eat a couple of spoons. The rate of the room per night was reasonable. If ever I will be given chance I will still pick Hotel Elizabeth the place to stay while in Cebu.

We have stayed at the Hotel Elizabeth numerous times over the past few years. The rooms are clean, spacious and loaded with needed amenities. I feel this is one of the best managed hotels in the area. They are extremely courteous and helpful to everyone. Their security is top notch. The new Chef (as of 1/2017) was an excellent choice as the food is well prepared and the addition of an omelet station is a plus for a hotel of this quality. I was very surprised to find the employees remembered us when we returned 6 months later and then again a year after that. That alone tells me the employees not only enjoy working there but also enjoy getting to know the clientele. This is our fav "go to" hotel in Cebu City.

My New Favorite Hotel in Cebu”

I have recently and frequently stayed in Cebu over the past 5yrs. My stays were at other "higher rated" hotels. However, I have had bad experiences where I was not treated as "important". Rooms with blocked toilets, jackhammer noise next door, price rises for extensions, noisy or broken air-con and more recently put in a room where the restaurant kitchen exhaust sounded like a jet engine outside the window. I had had enough! I sought a new "best hotel" and the Elizabeth is it. Wonderful rooms (2x stays here), excellent staff, great food area. Just perfect. Small but personal. A 300M walk to Ayala Shops. My new favorite place to stay. Thank you to all the wonderful staff. See you again soon.

A very good overall experience”

We have just completed a 2 night stay at Hotel Elizabeth Cebu and found it extremely good. From the friendly, helpful staff who assisted with everything we asked, to the extremely tasty breakfast buffet, the overall experience was fantastic. The location is about 4 minutes walk from Ayala mall, which was a major factor in our booking. The wifi was quite good, never dropped out and provided a consistent connection with satisfactory download/upload speeds. We really enjoyed our stay and will return on our next holiday if we can book in at another great price.

He never fails to check on us and on our needs, morning, during breakfast and until before he retires for the day. He assures us of comfort, relaxing and satisfying experience during our entire stay. I have stayed in so many hotels they my life including the Hilton, Marriott, crown Plaza, Sheraton, etc. and I have to say that the Hotel Elizabeth has been my favorite when it comes to Customer service and Hospitality. As you check in the staff was so accommodating and pleasant. Originally, we were going to stay for 1 night but then we extended for another 2 nights. Ideal place for a family or group vacation when in Cebu”

We stayed in their Executive Suites. Everything you need is available in Hotel Elizabeth Cebu. Facilities would be perfect if the hotel has a pool and the toilets have bidets. I have already recommended this hotel to friends traveling to Cebu especially those planning to have a family vacation. At least 2 I know have already booked.

Home away from home. We stayed 5 nights at Hotel Elizabeth and we had a great time, we love our Executive Room with a king bed, 2 single bed and 2 bathrooms perfect for our family. They cleaned our room everyday and they are very prompt for every request Quite a walk to Ayala Center and there’s a nearby 7/11 . We would like to stay at Hotel Elizabeth again when we visit Cebu again in the future.

Staff very accomodating, friendly, courteous and helpful. Chef came out to dining area, checked the buffet spread,and entertained guests. Food was great, esp the humba and fried dangit. Staff went out of their busy schedule to surprise my neice with birthday greeting and cake. In the future, when in cebu, will definitely stay in hotel Elizabeth(even in absence of pool). Very impressed with everything. We were even greeted with cool cucumber drinks on check-in! thank you!

After staying at the worst hotel in Cebu the regency towers, I transferred to the hotel Elizabeth, awesome hotel, wonderful staff centrally located, wonderful breakfast , gym and generally not what you would expect. I suggest if you are in Cebu go directly to this hotel you will joy be disappointed

The Elizabeth Hotel in Cebu is the ultimate property for both business and leisure travellers as it caters to families, groups and singles, it is absolutely fabulous. Centrally located close to the major shopping area and close to Ayala Mall has to offer, it was an ideal base for our stay. It is lucky to have an amazing team of staff who want guests to feel welcome and enjoy their stay. We will be returning to this excellent hotel.

If you are looking for a hotel in Cebu that's truly value for money, Hotel Elizabeth is one. Old but clean hotel with free buffet breakfast. Location is accessible to shopping mall. What I also like about the hotel is there's a room with 3 beds, perfect for family or friends.

We left the other hotel because we're unhappy and it was the best decision we made when we transferred to Hotel Elizabeth. They made it up! The lady who checked us in on Dec 7 was to be commended. I was with my senior citizen parents and she made sure to make our room available asap allowing us to check-in before 11. Thanks so much! There are 4 of us and the room was super spacious with 2 toilets, bathtub and kitchenette. There is a king sized bed and they setup 2 additional single beds. Although the bed were a bit hard, we had a comfy sleep. Pillows were thick enough and bedsheets and blankets were of high thread count. We've also requested additional utensils and iron as we are attending a wedding and housekeeping was swift! The bell boys when we arrived and departed were all super helpful. They allowed me to extend check-out by the way until 6pm for only a reasonable Php 1k! Location is excellent as Ayala Center is just walking distance and so is Starbucks and all your other favorite shops. Buffer breakfast is just okay but with a price of Php 360, it's decent -- my fave was the tsokolate! Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Elizabeth! Worth your money! (Caveat: We had a 50% discounted price via Agoda)
