Favourite budget hotel”

This is my second stay at Double Stars. Love it for the budget price, cleanliness and location. This time we got a windowless room with fan, which can be pretty stuffy albeit the cool air in Cameron Highlands. Room is small, perhaps best suited for a single traveler rather than two, but it was comfortable nonetheless. Will come again soon.

Just OK...”

Last minutes book Apartment 3 bedrooms. Actually, always come to CH and stay at DB Star in standard/deluxe room only. This time bring along families (4 adults & 3 childrens). So far this apartment is OK. Clean. Provide Fridge, Stove, Rice Cooker and Kettle so you can cook. Also provide iron & sejadah. Heater function so well. Not like hotel rooms, apartment not provide towels. Television no signal at all. The children feel so boring. Only has 1 toilet and 1 shower room for entire apartment to be share. The shower room door broken. Can’t close properly. Takde lap kaki. No sign for kiblat then must use app. Cutleries also not provided, ask recep to borrow it unless bring your own. Breakfast nasi lemak. The sambal super duper spicy. For me, its fine if other family members not complain so badly at all. They all satisfied and comfortable staying at this property. Its worth for a last minute deals.

Super easy layover”

While most hotel in Brinchang suffers from parking for your vehicle, this hotel do not face the same problem. I've parked my vehicle in front of the hotel and it was safe. Check in was easy and fast. Plenty of restaurant to choose from for your dinner and it is just a walking distance. We do not expect a lavish local and western buffet spread for the complimentary breakfast for the price we paid. They serve a simple fried rice and bihun which is good enough already. Overall it was a nice experience and Thank you very much for enjoyable stay!!! ;-)

Good accommodation if a little secluded”

I can’t fault the staff or the actual hotel itself (apart from the dodgy wifi, I couldn’t get it in my room so I had to always go down to reception/sit in the stairwell) however, maybe because of the time of year, I didn’t really see any of the other guests unless I was at breakfast quite early which meant that as a solo traveller I didn’t meet many other people on my stay. For this reason I would recommend staying in the town where the bus drops you, Tanah Rata, rather than a Brinchang. If you aren’t a solo traveller though then Double Stars would be great!!

Comfort bathroom good breakfast and clean room ”

We have quite comfort room, big toilet and comfy breakfast with toast bread, nasi or keateow goreng, coffee or tea and cekodok for just RM88 hotel fee. Mybe because its not public n school holiday so the surrounding is at ease and quite. Near to 7eleven shop, old night market brinchang and Malay restaurant. Yet the check in process is long waiting with 2 customer ahead me in line for 30 or 40 min approximate time. Besides, during check out, one of the staff quarell with either customer or outsiders which makes me unhappy with the staff words. The discussion or quarrelling should be handle nicely in a closed room and not infront of the hotel and other customer.thats quite unconfortamble for me. Plus they have less parking space so it might be hectic during public or school holidays. But If u came during weekdays or weekend instead school or public holiday the environment and comfy might wow or warm u.

I cant ask for more. We paid for only RM131 for a night stay and that inclusive breakfast for two adults and 1 kid. Room (deluxe queen) - is not big. but just nice for 3 of us. Theres prayer mat for muslim and just nice space for you to perform your prayer and qiblat direction is also in the room. Thumbs up for this. Theres 1 queen bed, 1 bathroom, 1 tv, 1 fan and kettle. No need for aircond. Lift also available. Cleanliness of the room - just perfect. breakfast- please dont expect food like in 5 stars hotel. During our stay, we had mee goreng, porridge, bread toast,salads and muffin. For us, thats good enough. Location- for us, its a strategic location. we opt for this hotel because its near to morning market (previously night market also here) it took us about 5 minute (by car) to reach the new night market. Will definitely come here again.

Value for money ”

Although the furniture in room are old but what you get is what you paid for. Staff over the counter are friendly and willing to help most of the time during our stays. Overall, it's good enough and recommended for a short trip to Brinchang, Cameron Highlands.

Sorry i previously sent wrong review to your hotel. Stayed here 2 times. I enjoyed both of my stays here. When you checked in, you could see how much they cared for their guests. Even in the simplest details like music at the cafe. The breakfast was amazing even with only two choices (mee goreng and nasi lemak) but they tasted great. Five stars worth every penny spent

One of the hotel with valuable price that include breakfast. Hotel easier to find, good location near to food stall, mini market, petrol station only walking distance. surrounding area is not too packed since the "Pasar Malam" has move to a new location @Golden Hills, Cameron. Overall I am satisfied would probably coming back for my next stay. Thanks.

Nice , comfortable and clean hotel and room. Worth for the money we paid. We stayed in (room 109).lots of parking lots and safe area. Provide with free good breakfast(not much selection but its more than enough).The staff also very friendly and helpful. The hotel located in a strategic place and not a busy/noisy area..there is also food truck, many restaurants and souvenir shops in walking distance. We had a very good stayed in this hotel and sure will come back to this hotel.. Wont be regret at all.. they provide basic amenities with complimentary 2 bottle of mineral water each day we stayed. Suggestion to hotel : 1)please provide water dispenser so guest can refill water theirself. 2)You wont get hot water in shower or tap during peak hour (when everyone using water on same time)eg: breakfast/check out time.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Was surprised that booked rooms comes with simple buffet breakfast. The rooms were clean and spacious. Loving the space. Location is great as it’s just less than 5 minutes walk to nearby restaurants. Convenient store around the corner. Definitely this hotel is worth staying. Price is reasonable and location is great. 👍🏼

The place is strategic as it was at the heart of Brinchang. Lots of shop and restaurant nearby so easy to get food. I was requested for birthday suprise room decoration and the deco was awesome ! I really excited and very satisfied when i first step into the room. Thank you so much !

Great new hotel - had comfortable bed and included breakfast. It is also in a super location in walking distance to Brinchang town - also had 7-11 and restaurant options in the same complex.
