Great staff”

Nice hotel in an ideal location. Rooms are small but sufficient. Perfect location to experience much of Paris by foot. We were there during the metro strike and were still able to walk to most major areas. In addition to the great location, central yet quiet, the staff was excellent. Not only did they offer good recommendations for restaurants and directions, they also were very friendly and made this feel like "home".

Wonderful location for a quiet city break”

The hotel is in a perfect spot if you want to escape the sound of traffic and other tourists! Our room was small but wonderfully clean, crisp cotton sheet and excellent use of the space there was with mirrors and little hiding places for shoes, coats etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would love to go back

Clean Comfortable and Convenient”

We stayed at the hotel for 2 days. We found the staff helfull and pleasant. The hotel is neat and clean and although the rooms are small it is similar to other hotels in Paris. The location is great and the I'lle St Louis is a beautiful and unique setting with ample reastuarants located on the "island". Walking distance from the the Notre Dame and other tourits sights and also close to public transport with the Notre Dame (Blue Line) and Pont Marie (Yellow Line) close by. Bus Trasport is also available on the i'lle.

Well positioned, clean cosy hotel”

had two nights here, it's on one of the small islands but great location as it's very quiet. Plenty of places to eat and drink close by. Room was snug (as advertised) but comfortable and functional. Felt nice and cozy and very clean. Staff helpful, bags were brought to room swiftly and no hanging around for a tip. Didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on food.

In a lovely old building on a beautiful old street right in the middle of Paris. Perfect. Very friendly staff, especially the breakfast lady!

Good Hotel in a great location”

The Hotel is beautiful and the place is gorgeous. Rooms are small, but we are in Paris. Only real criticism: The internet is damned slow.

Great location, when not on business ”

When I arrived I was shown "my" room, which was on the ground floor with a tiny window facing the inner court yard; an overall rather unwelcoming and very small space. After refusing to accept the room, and lengthy back and forth I was given another room on an upper floor. The next day, I learned that this room was still not in the category I had reserved (a double room) and I was yet again moved, finally to an okay room. It is rather common to offer single female travelers the worst horrible spaces; it is exhausting though to go through this exercise time and again.

We had a nice stay. Lovely quiet area. So close to Notre Dame and river, and interesting shops. A really nice village atmosphere.

This is such a beautiful hotel in a stunning part of Paris. I would love to keep it a secret but that would be unfair. Ile de Louis is a great place to stay. Lovely narrow streets full of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. A short walk across any of the bridges will take you to Notre Dame, The Latin Quarter and either Cite Metro station or Pont Marie. The hotel bedrooms are small - very small but they are decorated beautifully. The windows open out onto the Paris rooftops which is lovely if you choose to have breakfast delivered to your room. If, like us, you stay when there is a heatwave, there is air conditioning in the rooms too which was glorious after the blazing heat of the day. Breakfast is delicious. Served in the stone walled basement. Definitely worth paying for breakfast to get you set up for the day. This is such a beautiful old hotel. I will definitely be returning.

A warm welcome”

Greatest of locations in this quiet area. Coquette. Staff was very helpful, warm welcoming. Held our bags before check and after check out. Complimentary drink water. Beds are super comfortable. Memories of a great night's sleep.

Beautiful rooms, great location”

Stayed in a deluxe room with two huge windows overlooking the street. Compact but plenty of room and storage for a couple with quite a bit of luggage. Beautiful lobby and rooms, tastefully redecorated while maintaining historic charm.

June Vacation”

My wife, sister, elderly father and I stayed at the Hotel des Deux Iles while visiting Paris in June. This was our third time to Paris but our first time staying at this hotel. Quite honestly, staying here was one of the highlights of our time in Paris! The hotel is in a wonderful location (close to Norte Dame) with many unique shops and restaurants close by. It’s ambience, from the lobby to the room (and especially the breakfast room!!) is special. Those things by themselves would earn 5/5 stars from me, but….the staff! The staff went out of their way to be so nice and helpful. They answered every question we had and helped us navigate activities during our stay. My wife broke her foot before we left for our vacation so she was in a wheel chair during this trip. They made every effort to accommodate her and the unique needs that she had. They even negotiated the taxi cost with our taxi driver for our return to the train station (half the cost for a taxi to get to the hotel). I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. I hope to be in Paris again and if I do, I will definitely stay at Hotel des Deux Iles! One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had!!!!

Wonderful location”

Loved the location of this hotel but unfortunately we were in a room without windows which tarnished the experience a little. Otherwise a nice hotel!
