nice location..Ideally located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, is surrounded by eight of the city’s most popular shopping malls. Sitting in Kuala Lumpur's Golden Triangle (Bukit Bintang), it is a prime location for commercial and entertainment purposes. It is also just a stroll away from Times Square, Bintang Walk, Pavillion, Sungei Wang and Low Yat Plaza which is the largest IT mall in Malaysia. For those who fancy inexpensive and delicious local eateries, “Alor Hawker Street” is just opposite the property while the “Arab Square” is a short stroll away. Apart from featuring a fantastic location, Capitol Hotel also boast well appointed rooms that promises all basic in room facilities needed for a comfortable stay. All things considered, Capitol Hotel is excellently located, well appointed and reasonably priced.

Needless to repeat what has been said in previews reviews. I can only reconfirm them all. Kuala Lumpur has done miracles the last few years. Suddenly there are sidewalks and The Capitol is on walking distance of nearly everything. China Town, The Pavilion, Time Square, Petrona Towers and Kuala Lumpur Tower. Sentral within reach by monorail (station Bukit Bintang) restaurants and shopping malls all next to the Capitol. Great pool option at the Federal hotel next to Capitol. I would definitely go back en enjoy again a corner room with great Petrona Towers view.

Everything you have read in all reviews is true. Capitol is the right choice for exploring Kuala Lumpur. KL has undergone big changes over the last years. Suddenly there are side walks everywhere and Capitol is in the middle of everything. On walking distance of China Town, the Petronas, the Golden Triangle, KL tower, Pavilion, Time Square and restaurants. Bukit Bintang monorail stop is 5 minutes walk and takes you straight to Sentral. The deluxe Capitol has views more than 180° to the city and Petronas. This time the hotel could meet my preferences and indeed on the higher levels the views are spectacular. The Federal hotel is next to the Capitol and is perfect for sunbathing and a dip in the pool. A good 3 star hotel with no thrills but good value for money min. 50 words

Awesomely affordable in Bukit Bintang KL”

Hotel Capitol is a charming and affordable hotel in Bukit Bintang. It was our first time staying there, and we really didn't know what to expect. We had just came in from a long bus ride from Singapore, with an added 2-3 hours being stuck in a traffic jam. It was a humid day and our bodies had grown stiff to the long journey - all we wanted was to rest. It took us a while to figure out where the entrance to the main lobby is, even though we saw the facade while walking in the street. After a few turns, we realized it was actually much easier to get to the hotel than we thought. Entering the lobby, I was amazed at to see how modern and well-furnished it looked. Honestly, I wasn't trying to expect much as it is only a 3-star hotel. The check-in was very smooth and quick - only about 5-8 minutes. The staff was really friendly and efficient. As we entered our room, I saw that this hotel really keeps up to the guests' expectations to be what the website portrays. It felt grand and so very welcoming. I felt at home. Spotless bedsheets, clean bathroom & towels. The TV has a variety of channels to choose from - I even managed to catch my favorite American drama series there. The hotel even has a clean & green policy going on - guests can choose not to have their towels & bedsheets changed everyday to reduce the amount of water wasted on washing them. When we wanted to explore the area, we found that the hotel is strategically located within 5 mins of 3 malls - Plaza Low Yat, BB Plaza & Sungei Wang plaza. Pavilion and Berjaya Times Square were also within 8-10 mins walk. A variety of food were in abundance in the area, we were really spoilt for choice. Capitol may not be a 5-star hotel, but it sure deserves it, seeing that it is the most perfect hotel to stay in Bukit Bintang area.A 3-star hotel with the quality of a 5-star. I stayed for 2 nights and paid only SGD200. I would not recommend any other hotel in that area, nor would I even research for it.

I had a Deluxe room at the Capitol Hotel. The location is perfect in Bukit Bintang and close to my favourite for Australians, the Gloria Jeans coffee shop near the Bukit Bintang monorail station. The famous shopping malls are walking distance from the hotel and so are the KLCC and twin towers along the Bukit Bintang Walkway. The staff at the Capitol are helpful and the rooms are clean and everything works. I had a nice view of the Twin Towers from my window. This is one of the best located hotels that I have stayed at and will return gain next time in Kuala Lumpur.

the greatest thing about this hotel is its location, simply in the heart of kuala lumpur, bukit bintang area, right in front of the hotel is the entrance to bukit bintang plaza, 10 minutes away is pavilion shopping mall..you can simply find everything here, if you're looking for food, there are many stall in jalan alor who provides you with many varieties of food, if you're kind of people who enjoy the nightlife, changkat is only 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel, yet to mention berjaya times square, if you and your family want to enjoy the indoor theme park there, simply put, if all you're looking for is the location, this hotel is the best there is.. the room might not be too spacious, but it's comfortable enough, though i'd recommend you're taking the hotel at the higher floor because it kind be noisy at night with all the hectic life that's going around the area :) the facilities might not be what a 4 or 5 star hotel can give, but for the value and its location, i would love to recommend this hotel to you. one simple tip, do not ask the taxi driver in front of the hotel to take you anywhere, because they will simply charge you a ridiculous fare, there are many taxis on the main street just around the corner and always insist on using the meter fare.

A comfortable 3 Star Hotel in the shopping hub”

I picked this hotel as it is in the vicinity of Bukit Bintang, close to shopping centres such as Farenheit 88, Pavillion, Low Yat etc. It is surrounded by many food stalls from morning to night so I did not include breakfast in my stay. Except that now Bukit Bintang is going to have a new subway station so many pedestrian ways are diverted. There is 7-11 and also another 24h minimart convenient for us. Check-in was smooth within 10 minutes, hotel lifts have access card features to prevent outsiders from coming in. I believed we been given the deluxe room because it looked more spacious. The room was clean, LED TV with very basic channels, and clean toilet. Air conditioning can be adjusted, which is very comfortable. However there was not much toilet amenities and the toilet bowl was difficult to flush. The special design taps were also difficult to turn on and off. At night, I could see lights from a tall building LED seeping into my room but I was unable to shut my curtains totally. A bit distracting. Housekeeping was very thoughtful as I accidentally placed the privacy tab on my door for the entire day. They tried to call my room twice and in the end I found a note from them on the floor beneath the door. I contacted them and the housekeeping guys came immediately to clean up our room. Very good service. Overall a pleasant and safe stay in Capitol Hotel. I will definitely return in future.

I many times visit Kuala Lumpur and stay in the Capitol Hotel. The hotel location is very strategic which near to most of popular shopping and entertainment spots. It is also easy to find, since the hotel building is very tall. Once you arrive from the Monorail (Bukit Bintang), you may find the hotel easily. The hotel is great, compact, affordable, and simple. I would suggest this to those who want to travel to Kuala Lumpur.

I love Kuala Lumpur, always got a lot of hotel for tourist to choose. I recommend Hotel Capitol Kuala Lumpur because it's really convenient for those tourist like eat a local food and close to the shopping area. Also, the room and bath room very clean. Worth the price! Highly recommend for those people who like to find the clean, convenient and low price hotel.

Convenient location, clean and well maintained rooms”

Great place to stay with spacious clean room and walking distance to the Bukit Bintang MRT station, Plaza Low Yat and other Bukit Bintang shopping malls. Many convenience stores nearby. For my husband he did not like the bed because it is too soft and not stable (wobbly) for him. The bed is fine for me. We have always stayed in this hotel during our stay in Kuala Lumpur and the hotel overall is always clean and well maintained. The staff are also helpful. Bravo and keep up the good work! Recommended for those who prefer to stay in 3 star hotels as it is a value for money.

the hotel is easy to find, not far from bukit bintang monorail exit, i stay at capitol deluxe which is corner room, the view is good, got to see petronas twin tower n kl tower, the room is clean although it's not 100 percent clean but it's clean enough, full of amenities n facility (got free non alcohol mini bar, sodas n coldmineral water), stay with wife n 1 child, but only good 1 toothbrush n paste, 1 pair of slipper. got iron n ironing board which is useful to iron clothes from the bag, a hair dryer, a towel, a mat, small towel all it's very useful n enough. the breakfast is good to, from western chinesse an even a hindi food. the plaza just across (bukit bintang plaza, metrojaya plaza, sung wang plaza, low yat i.t plaza). surround by a food stall, local restaurant n cafe at your choice even a 24 hour mini market, walking distance (1-3 minute) to bukit bintang n alor food street. definitely a good choice of hotel, won't disappointed. two thumb ups.....

Wonderful central location with fantastic views ”

This is my 2nd stay at Hotel Capitol within about 7 months and I was fully satisfied with everything, as before. I took a deluxe room so as to secure an upper floor and the wonderful views of the city from my room. Previously I was on the 15th and this time the 12th. Both equally good. Clear views of KL telecom Tower and Petronas twin towers, all lit up at night. The location is ideal for shops, clubs, pubs, restaurants and anything you care to mention. They all surround the place! Take the monorail train from Sentral to Imbi or Bukit Bintang stations (4 or 5 stops with fabulous views of the city skyscrapers as it winds its way across town). 10 minute walk to hotel from either station. Save a fortune on taxis! The staff are both attentive and friendly. Being a gay man I was also assured of an understanding and tolerant attitude with many happy smiles and waves on entering or leaving the hotel no matter what time of the day or night! The Cafe Rasa on the ground floor serves reduced price draught beer with an 'all day' happy hour! There is also a good selection of fresh fruit drinks - deliciously refreshing. The menu includes a selection of local and Western meals. This is a very reasonably priced hotel considering its location, amenities and supportive staff. I would recommend it for anyone visiting KL. Enjoy!!

highly recommended!!!! if you are in a tight budget but doesnt want to sacrifice luxury and quality this is the hotel for you. we stayed at hotel capitol and so far it is one of the best hotel experience for me and my family. nice,clean , tidy ,comfortable and well presented room - we had an amazing view -the petronas tower! staffs were all nice from check in to check out. breakfast was average. near the bargains, mall , berjaya time square , starbucks just around the corner, shopping malls less than 100m! close to all transportation quite popular if you tell the taxi "drive me to hotel capitol in bukit bintang"they know exactly! staff were all helpful and we cannot thank them enough for helping us find my daughter's most precious teddy bear that we accidentally left in the taxi . imagine that! they helped us track the taxi- we found teddy!!!

Centrally located area , shopping spree ”

We have been staying at Capitol Hotel for a few times already. Every time we went to Kuala Lumpur we will stayed at Capitol Hotel to shop at Bukit Bintang. There are several reasons why we choose this hotel not other hotels at Bukit Bintang. The reasons are convenient place to shop around Bukit Bintang such as walking distant shopping at Sungai Wang, Metro Jaya, Times Square , Low Yatt , Pavilion and KLCC. Not forgetting several restaurants serving delicious varieties of foods. The hotel staffs are friendly, very helpful, and room is clean, free internet service.

hotel capitol is a great hotel”

we stayed there for two nights, we checked in at 2:00 am in the morning and the front desk reception is really kind. from the first time we enter the lobby we already felt it will be a great stay during our time in Kuala Lumpur. the place is really close to monorail and sungei wang shopping center (including low yat plaza, bb plaza, etc...) it is just one station away from berjaya times square and the new shopping mall pavillion. for those who likes chinese food could go to alor street where it is just a couple blocks away from the hotel. the whole area is full of chinese food and some thai food. for those who like american food, kfc, subway, bk, is nearby the hotel (inside the mall) we really enjoyed our stay in capitol hotel since it was our honeymoon. we definetly will choose this hotel again if we come back to kuala lumpur.

Small clean room with fantastic service.”

My wife and I arrived an hour early before the official check-in time of 2 pm, but reception didn't even blink an eye and gave us our room immediately with a smile. The room was a little small but was very clean and very well maintained, and the air-conditioning was great. Really couldn't ask for a better location for the hotel was it was encircled by food courts, restaurants, shopping malls and even the Bukit Bintang Monorail Rail Station was only a stone's throw away. Breakfast was great as practically all of the food were freshly cooked, unlike some hotels that like to use instant or frozen food. From housekeeping, security, reception to restaurant staff, all of them did a great job. Definitely one of the best run hotels in Kuala Lumpur.

Value for money and comfortable hotel”

My stay at Hotel Capitol Kuala Lumpur was very comfortable. The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is nice and well maintained. Unfortunately the 1st night we were disturbed by the next building ( Sungei Wang Shopping Centre) revocation sound. It started at 12am and ended at 4am.In Singapore where we stay, all renovation will be ceased by 5pm. If any contractor found voilating this timing, he will be fine. I realisd now in Malaysia they don't have such rule. The next day, we requested for a change of room and the hotel without hesitation did it. We were happy they did that for us. Over all, I will stay here the next time I vist Kuala Lumpur. The next I will request rooms facing the twin towers not Sungei Wang Shopping Centre.

this was the 8th stay at the capitol and we enjoyed it as much as the other 7 stays. what can i say about this hotel that i haven't said before. stay here if you want to be in the best location in kuala lumpur. shopping, entertainment, a warm welcome and a clean room is what we want and our stays at the capitol are always a highlight of our travels. views from the deluxe room we stayed included seeing the petronas towers and the kl tower lit up at night.

Had a great time Its very nelar to the commercial areas.where you can enjoy, relax and spend your good olidays. The food is great an you can find it eveywhere. Tranportation is ccessible also.
