The location is very good. We can see the panorama of mount bromo and mount batok from the hotel. This hotel also located very near to bromo volcano. It only takes 15 minutes by jeep and 45 minutes on foot. The room has tv, hot water kettle, bathroom with hot water. However the room is very standard , the cleanness should be improved and hospitality of the staff should be improved.

Location is a great advantage, Clearly can see Mount Bromo from Lobby. Food choices are limited in the hotel, the choice you give in restaurant are always not available. But overall good hotel to stay for 2 nights.

The place is very close to the volcano and hiking, but the rooms were basic and not clean enough. Breakfast : We asked the staff if the items were meat free and they said yes, turned out they all had meat.

Location is nice but room size was small and poorly-lit room at night, shower room is also small. At this price (about 40US$/night) better facilities are expected. And dust of volcanic sand covered everything outside of the room including deck chairs and tables.

The best hotel in Bromo”
Hotel Bromo Permai is far the best hotel in Bromo. We had a comfortable bungalow with good bed and hot water in the shower. The staff were so kind as to provide hot water for cafe/tea in a flask for our early morning climb.

I think it’s the best location in Bromo . Just walk out from the hotel and we can see the beautiful Bromo . U Don’t miss the sunset view when u stay there . It is perfect view . Don’t worry about the entrance fee since we also need to pay for the morning tour . Breakfast is just normal . Negative: There was no hot water and we couldn’t take shower . The room is too small . Don’t expect any facilities from this hotel . Anyway , I recommend others to stay there for the perfect Bromo Sunset. View .

The nearest place to Mount Bromo, but make sure your pick up is early to catch up the sunrise view otherwise it will be very crowded. Wifi is okay, breakfast is okay. But quite a walk to a good nearest place to eat. Recommended for those seeking the view of Mt Bromo literally in front of the hotel.

pros: great views, location and nice breakfast cons: rooms outdated and tatty, no coffee facilities left in room This is a great place to stay for your trip to Mount Bromo. we used an organised trip service that picked us up from airport and arranged the next morning trip to Bromo. we arranged the hotel ourselves through Agoda. our first impressions of hotel was very positive it looked updated and was in a great location. but when we walked in the standard room it was a little deflating, it was just little things they could sought out but made it looked univiting :( there was tea cups and water, but no kettle or sachets to make any drinks. but when we woke and left the room at 3am for out trip we saw a flask of hot water sat on the table outside but nobody had mentioned about it on arrival or when leaving it, it was to late to drink anyway even if we had any tea bags or coffee :( so when we came back we told housekeeping we had no facilities in room but we still only got an appearing jug last outside nothing else :/ we got told that 2 nights might be to long a stay. but we spent the afternoon after our trip in the hotel restaurant watching the mount Bromo and how it changes through the day, we had diner the chicken and beef steak diners where very nice and the staff in there were very helpful. the breakfast was also very welcome rice, noodles, toast, egg, fruit. and the added bonus was we watched the amazing sunset from the hotel restaurant and the view point across the road and found this better than the sunrise we had paid to see (but we know it's all down to conditions of the weather) so we were lucky. but think this place is one of the best to stop at..... but please update the rooms
