Surabaya Center Stay”

Stay was only one night, but was the best hotel I have stayed in during any of my visits to Surabaya. Would recommend anybody to book this hotel when coming to Surabaya.

Cheap affordable”

Well maintained old hotel. Not so fancy. AC not so cool but okay. My pillow was too high, however my spouse were not. No shower cap and hair dryer ready in the bathroom. However, might be able by request. Only a pair of slippers too. This one also maybe available by request too. Woke up late so didn't catch up the breakfast. Strategic location in the center of the city. Housekeeper a bit noisy. When cleaning other and above rooms can possibly be more silent cos we checked in arround 2 or so.

Ok 3 Star hotel”

Surrounding area is a worry with a night arrival but perfectly ok when seen in daylight. It is not really a hotel catering to Westerners but specialises in Indonesian Conferences and Meetings. Breakfast is excellent, only if you like Indonesian Cuisine. Despite poor English understanding by most Face-to- Face staff, their friendliness and helpfulness was outstanding. A good sized Western style very comfortable double bed. Unfortunately, as with three other Agoda bookings on this trip, the room standard was NOT what was promised but was downgraded by hotel. We stopped complaining after the first disastrous hotel and decided to simply "put up with it for our sanity". You do get exactly what you pay for!!! Of my many Agoda bookings over the past 5 years, this trip has proved that you should never assume that "Agoda Insider Deals" and "Special Rates" will be provided by the actual hotel. "I not speak English" has been standard response.

the stay was okay. Staff was friendly, room quite spacy&clean although old interior and also close to Tunjungan plaza and/or city center.

- Price is reasonable - The hotel is old. - In the center of Surabaya - Breakfast is OK - Should be OK for your transit before continue to Malang or Bali

I found a centipede in the bathroom”

First when we checked in, the frond desk officer was really helpful and friendly. We got the room very fast. The room was quite spacious. Unfortunately, we found a centipede at the bath room, and it fright us out. But, the room servicer has removed it which is good. The wifi connection was really weak, it was likely because our room position was on the corner end. The morning breakfast was tasty. The hotel location was strategic. We found alot of restaurants or food depots around the hotel area. The pool was clean.

Its value for money, you got a bathtub, strong shower, but its an old hotel, little spooky 😅, and the bed must be replace, the cleanliness to be advance at the bottom and side of bedroom

Pleasant stay”

Good location and good staff. Hotel has many facilities such as gym and pool. Room was comfortable and all what one needs. Would choose this place next again.

Quite and refreshing”

It was well worth it for the price, when we checked in we were given welcoming drink while the receptionist organized the check-in particular. After checking in, The staff took our luggage to our room and showed us how to operate the equipment in the room. The rest of the activity, dining and breakfast served is great food and its a pleasant experience overall

Good for business, a place to sleep, use as base ”

I wanted a clean and modern place to stay after all the backpacking and my room was clean, spacious, modern and I slept very well. The hotel would be good for stopovers, short stays or business. Nothing extraordinary but it offered good service and standard for the price.

My stay for 4 nights holidays with my three older sons. The hotel is just quiet okay with affodable prize. Not to big but easy acces to the city. It is near to plaza tunjangan, the biggest shopping mall. The staff was very great friendly.on the last day, our request to get the local cake was succesfully. Tq mr cheaf. I may suggest to my friend and hope to came again in future.

Could have been better”

The most friendly person in the hotel is the chef who showed up in the morning of 16/6. The rest of the staff seem kind of aloof and cold. Good spread of breakfast and food was always hot and changed daily. Ran out of toilet roll but was not replenished when asked for it and when the room was made, the staff apparently did not notice it had run out of supply. Was supplied after repeated request was made. Booked this hotel as I wanted to use its treadmill but sadly it was out of order. Fitness centre was locked up, you need to make a trip down to the front desk for them to send someone to open the door although it could be accessed by the room card.
