The mattress, blanket, quilt are dirty. I have infected by fungus because of hygiene of the hotel. In addition, the toilet is very smelly and caused the room smelly all the time. Besides, the breakfast is below average, and less of variety.

A great place without many tourists”
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and in takengon, away from everything. I felt that the rooms were very clean, good room service, well meaning English speaking front lobby staff. It was a comfortable enough stay amid rugged surroundings. I think takengon is underrated. The lake is really beautiful even though the shore is littered with garbage. You don't need a guide to walk around and you'll feel as if you are the only one there. Just like at the hotel. More people should come.

Staff tried to enter my room as I slept”
I was ill and sleeping at 4 in the afternoon when I was awoken by a member of the staff using a key to try to open the door to my room. I had the latch on so he did not enter, but when I opened the door, he had no cleaning cart or obvious reason to be doing so. I was one of only a few people staying there, so it seemed that he would know the room was occupied. The front desk apologized but had no explanation for his actions. It may have been an honest mistake or something dishonest. I can't say. Either way, it was an unpleasant way to be awoken.

Comfortable Stay in Takengon”
My stay was very comfortable. I have 4 suggestions that would improve the hotel. 1. Room 107 & 108 have a window next to the parking lot. All night long the beeping from car alarms and people made it impossible to sleep well. Make a barrier or make sound-proof windows 2. Put toilet paper into the rooms for guests who do not want to use freezing cold water on their private parts. 3. Make hot water available. 2 of the days there was no hot water for showers. 4. Make the WIFI stronger and more reliable. When you have business travelers, we need to be able to upload documents and do work on wifi. On the POSITIVE side. I was very happy how comfortable the bed was, the food was good, the front desk staff was always very helpful and friendly. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

First, I would like to highlight that the hotel's location indicated on Agoda's map is inaccurate. The hotel is, in fact, located just along the main street and a couple of streets away from the indicated location. Other than that, the stay in Hotel Bayu Hill is generally comfortable and enjoyable. The room is big and clean. The bed is comfortable and clean as well. The bathroom, however, does not have a basin. The Hotel also has a gym on the second floor. The gym equipment is however, inadequate. In overall, a recommended stay in Hotel Bayu Hill.

Hotel yang lemas dengan bau asap rokok”
Bilik agak kecil serta tiada privacy sebab tetamu lain banyak bersidai di depan tingkap kami untuk berbual-bual serta menghisap rokok. Ini mengganggu kami ketika hendak berehat di dalam bilik. Nampak keseluruhan hotel, tetamu bebas merokok. Bagi yang tidak merokok memang ini cukup mengganggu ketenteraman untuk berehat. Bilik air tidak bersih serta berbau tidak menyenangkan. Tetapi yang baik di hotel ini ialah sarapan pagi ada banyak pilihan serta banyak. Sarapan cukup memuaskan.
