Staying here every time I'm in Paris”

I love the Bastille\St Paul area in the 4th and this hotel serves both. It's also right next to the Marais. It boarders and allows easy access to the 11th and 12th and walking distance from the Seine. It's seconds from the Bastille metro, which is a big station with direct lines to all the top sites, so staying here makes it really easy to get around. It's also right on top of the Bastille market on Sunday mornings. The bed is firm and very comfortable and the room is so CLEAN! The carpet and other facilities looked brand new and just renovated. I think because it was... That was the main downside, the ongoing renovations and new paint smell. The bathroom and shower are big, especially for European standards. Strong water pressure and hot showers. The best part was the street view of Rue St Antoine. I could complain about the lack of iron and hair conditioner but I got by without it. There's a tiny, drink-filled fridge (must pay)but no microwave. All in all, my stay was incredible.

Fantastic hotel in an awesome location!”

We checked in yesterday and are thrilled with the location of the hotel- literally a 3 minute walk from the metro which is great with all our luggage. The staff were polite and friendly, and the room is modern and clean. Finding a new and modern hotel room is rare in Paris! Shower good, bed very comfortable, area is fun and overall- a fantastic place to stay in Paris! Great value for money!

Location is v convenient and nearby to metro. The room is newly renovated, v clean and spacious. The area is nearby to many cafes and shopping, in Marais .

Amazing location, great interiors”

The room was perfect for what we were after, the pitstop for our Parisian adventures. The hotel was lovely, clean with trendy interiors. The rooms are a little small but it was all we needed! Would definitely stay again.

Value for Money”

It's a bit old and stuffy, and the elevator can only accommodate 1-2 people but overall, it's value for money! It's in a great location, near the Metro, and walking distance to shops by Le Marais.

the service was really bad and we had an emergency alarm early in the morning during our stay. the location was excellent though. The staff was not very friendly or accomodating. the rooms were very small

Best location”

The hotel is easy to find and located in a very convenient location. I initially stayed for three night and extended for another three and the ladies at the reception were very helpful. The staff speaks good English therefore I did not feel that there is a barrier in communication. I did not have breakfast at the hotel so I can say nothing about it. I've had a good stay at Hotel Bastille Speria.

Nice place, Nice hotel”

It's very close to Bastille station, nice to reach everywhere in Paris. Whenever I asked to front desk, they were very kind. The room was not so big but cozy. I'd like to visit again next time.

Good site for traveller”

The hotel is in a great area of Paris. Staff very helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. Very clean and adequate bathroom. Hotel just metres from main Metro Line 1. Close to many shops and other interesting Parisian features.

Lovely little hotel but with some quirks”

Loved the location of this hotel--walking distance to the Marais and just around the corner from the Metro. Many little restos and bars nearby too. Our only complaints would be the little stains in the beddings and the smell in the toilets even after flushing. You could also hear water from the other floors each time someone uses the shower. Front desk staff were incredibly helpful and cheerful!

The service was very bad”

The behaviour of the receptionist was very disappointed, the way of speaking was not friendly at all, and not polite. The room service automatically opened the door of the room just after 2 knocks. Especially, the local phone charge (from the fixed phone in the room) within Paris was taken by the hotel impressive expensive, like a thief, Hotel Bastille Speria charged me for 40 euros for few minutes call.

Will return again”

One of those places I wish to only tell friends and not anyone else so that the room prices wouldn't climb. Yet, it's too good to not share. Loved it for so many different reasons. Will definitely be back.

Location is great!”

This hotel is situated near the bastille metro and has many restaurants around it. The breakfast was disappointing as it is very simple. We stayed there for 5 nights and there was not a change in breakfast menu.

best place to stay and experience joie de vivre parisien”

location is tres magnifique diffrent kinds of shops, cafes, school, park and churches, which goes without saying that you'll find different kinds of interesting people here, the room itself exceeded my expectations, i just love the bathroom. the place was clean, cozy and i didn't want to leave the place.

no internet”

Paris is expensive and so is this hotel for what it gives. Smallish room and small double bed, low on plugs and no internet. The front desk could not or did not want to solve this problem. Good location and separate bathroom and toilet, but we have seen better places in Paris (and elsewhere).

Very good hotel”

For a short stay -sure. Location is great, and makes up for minor issues I have. Room and bath - just a touch small, but quite adequate. Staff quite helpful, and very near the subway.

good location and very nice breakfast, room is clean. The only pity thing is the heater in the room is not able to adjust, quite hot.
