Hostels in Chiang Rai

"If you're having doubts about this place, easily cast them aside. The "poshtel" basically runs like a hotel (without the price tag) vs. a hostel.The facilities are spotless, and the common area is a nice spot to get some work done especially with their fancy coffee/espresso machine. The 8 bed dorms are almost really 4 bed dorms as there are only 4 beds in 2 separate rooms. I liked this spot so much I ended up booking a single room for an extra three days. The MVP of this spot is Bich, the general manager. He goes above and beyond to help you with whatever your wishes and desires are. His genuine kindness, wealth of knowledge, and flawless English made my stay phenomenal. Even after I checked out of the hostel he was on the phone with a bus driver to help me arrange the transportation of my bag last minute. The list of things I managed to do in Chiang Rai would have been significantly shortened were it not for his help. You're awesome and thanks for everything you do!! "

"We arrived here in the afternoon after go around Chiang Rai, and the staff welcome us very friendly. The receptionist are very good in making conversation and make us forget about the tiredness. We rent 3 bed in dormitory room. The bed are very comfort and clean. Each person get a towel and mineral water. Overall is good, but the wall isnt soundproof, so we hear a very noise voice from the guest next door. Bathroom and toilet is very clean. And as a guest, we get many compliment as discount 30% for beverage in its cafe, also free detergent and softener for the laundry. I will stay there again if I back to Chiang Rai. But maybe not in dormitory room :)"

"I was really suprised at how clean and organised the hostel is. By the way, it doesn't really have hostel vibes, more like a hotel. Pros: Nice room, clean, comfortable bed, mirror Very clean bathroom, even though it was shared, best shower in SE Asia! Kind and helpful staff Amazing buffet style breakfast (very few options though - bread, veggies, eggs, bananas, but very sufficient) Free drinking water, tea, coffee through out the day Location good, walking distance to night market, bus station Cons: The fan was a bit noisy but nothing we couldn't deal with. "

"Fantastic family owned boutique style hotel. Location is great, owners and staff are very friendly people. Rooms and pool area are great, breakfast is fresh made and tastes good. You get free water, tea, coffee, bananas and cookies during the whole day and evening. Even laundry is free! Overall fantastic value for money, well recommended hotel in Chiang Rai."

"Perfect choice for backpackers to traveling in Chiang Rai. You can stay here for whenever, how long as you want. Room and each toilet/bathroom(separated) are spacious, well maintained. There are lockers and Public bathrooms you can use too. Also has washing machines for 20B, there is some places that could dry clothes in the sunshine. If you need any help or want to book a tour or transportaion service, staffs helping you very well. Common area is cozy and convenient. All the room types are breakfast included, it's quite simple but they provide fruits and boiled eggs so I liked it very much. "

"Some issue with the checkin which took extra long time without explanation. I was in the dormitory at it was very loud at nite due to nearby bars area. In the end it was ok for a quick night stay."

"The staffs were very nice. There were insects hovering in the washroom but the staffs came to my room even though it was late at night. They have sent us to the airport even thought it was in the morning as well. I just hope that the washroom was a little more big. "

"Great beds, privacy, WiFi , everyone is on their phone so hard to connect with other people, free good fresh coffee from local beans( not instant) amazing front desk staff especially the a.m. young women! Nearby cool cafe and restaurant! Best value for hostel in Chiang Rai! No party hostel!"

"This is a shop lot and make to guest house. Super homey. Clean and convenience. Comfort bed.Room with bathroom attached is few, so, if you want room with bathroom attached, please book it fast.Near to night bazaar and 7 eleven.Surrounded with restaurants.Recommend to budget traveller."
