Great and comfortable!”
The staff were friendly and informative. The check out time is 12 pm which is favourable for me since hotel usually have early checkout time at 11 am. We have more time to manage the kids and getting ready for other trips. The facilities are clean and have great views. The morning buffet have quite the choices even if it's not much, but you will still have options on what to eat. It's delicious as well. You can easily park since it has its own parking area and it's not far from the lift lobby, that will ease those who have more things to carry. The location of the hotel is strategic and surrounded by restaurant, convenient shops etc.. It's near mall as well so you won't have to go far. The view of the room is superb if you choose the ocean view, but the city view is not losing as well. The toilet and shower is not spacious but if you choose more pricey room it has bathtub outside of the bathroom as well. Quite dangerous if you have little one running around the room. But that is preventable provided enough surveillance from the parents The room is complete with mini fridge, safety deposit box, robes,slippers and iron as well. Overall it's really nice to stay here and I already decided to come again here soon.

Horizon Hotel, Kota Kinabalu (KK) is a 4 stars hotel located right at the center of KK city. Booked for twin deluxe room (sea view), superb in quality! The room is well cleaned & tidy, full amenities that you could expect from 4 stars service hotel such soap, shampoo & conditioner, rain shower (hot & cold), comb, toothbrush, sewing kit, iron w/board, bathrobe, 40inch flat screen tv, mini bar and even safe box. The room also smell fresh & good soundproofing! Free breakfast available at Deco & Grill Cafe at the lobby, the breakfast buffet is okay & can be improved. The overall service is great & friendly hotel hostess. The hotel's location is also great! Located just right few steps away from the infamous Gaya Sunday Market (Sunday Only). Just 2 blocks away from the hotel is infamous Bak Kut Teh restaurant, Suria Mall, Upperstar Bar, 20mins walk to Jesselton Jetty or Filipino Market. There is also 24hours shop available steps away from the hotel. Recommended hotel! Value for money!

Breakfast - mcm Palace Hotel, Holiday Inn Express. Sedap., byk pilihan, yg paling best hotel ni ada mesin coffee mcm Holiday Inn express 5. Good location, clean and hotel with nice view”
Everything was near perfect, great location just a walking distance to philippine market, gaya street etc. room was big and comfortable,breakfast good, great shower room with japanese style bathtub (round wooden) and everything I need is included in the room - iron, refrigerator. Only to complain about room 1221 the airconditioner seems a bit hot even on night. dont feel the coolness.

None of my friends have stayed here before so did not expect much from this hotel. But man this was so much better than I expected! The room itself was spacious with designs to have more rooms to keep things. Great city view facing gaya street from our 11th floor room. The other side faces the sea which can be seen from hotel's higher levels. Best part is just walk out to go to restaurants/eateries/stalls. Location of this hotel in the middle of the city makes everything accessible, esp malls like wisma merdeka & suria sabah.

GREAT LOCATION!”
We stayed here before MCO was enforced. anadd the location is superb. you literally can walk to restaurants, convenient store just in front of the hotel and there's night market located just nearby. the swimming pool view is also great since there's infinity effect. however food is not that good. not many variety and not presentable! it looks like those food came out from one of the streets restaurant. but aside from that, it was one great stay with Horizon.

*Azlan was very very helpful during check in process, I guess he's the doorbell but did not make me wait in the line to check in. During my check out, again he's the one who checking me out! Very helpful staff ☺️ *The room I got is quite big and on top of that, it's on the 12th floor! Great city view. *The room service is perfect! *Although the hand bidet water pressure is low, it was a bit difficult for us 😅 but that's fine I guess.

Stayed here few times and enjoyed my stay each time. Spacious room and clean. Staffs are friendly. If you are lucky to get room facing the sea view, you’ll get to see beautiful sunset!Conveniently located near Gaya Street, Night Market and Suria Mall. Definitely recommended!

Book 2 superior room for my 2 night stay. The room is spacious & clean. Staff are friendly & they are kind enough to let us slightly late check out. Central location & very convenient as the gaya street is just opposite the hotel with walking distance.

Perfect Hotel to stay in KK”
We arrived hotel at 12pm and requested for luggage storage as it haven't reach check-in time. To our surprise, the staff provided us the immediate check-in and whats even better, they upgraded our room! What a courtesy and made our day for the trip. The room is facing the seaview and having a nice bath tub. The spa service also come with a reasonable price :)

Close to everywhere”
Pros: Love their gym. Breakfast spread was decent. Close to everywhere! There’s night market on Friday and sat and Sunday early AM market which is located right across the road. Cons: Got to collect receipt from hotel recep to exchange for Carpark coupon at the Carpark itself. Pool is a tad small. Not meant for not so close friends as the toilet is pretty much opaque at the sides.

Exceptional”
When I first checked in, I was given an upgraded room, from superior king to deluxe king. This is a pleasant surprise. However, the main switchboard of the room kept tripping, cutting the electricity supply. So I requested to change room and I was given another room with no extra charge. What's more, with a bathtub! Thanks to the manager who kindly acceded to my request 😊

My 2nd time staying here”
This is our second time staying at this hotel. I wrongly booked superior double room and requested to change to any available room with queen/king bed. Surprisingly the staff even upgraded our room to deluxe king room with no additional charges. Will come back again next time. Convenient to go to Gaya Street Sunday Market as well.

Great location of hotel in the heart of KK town.Very helpful staff.Stay for one night in Superior King Room was amazing.Nice hotel with complete facility..Need add more Chanel for TV..Not much variety on breakfast as we need to choose in time while check in due to PKPP otherwise was fantastic stay

Friendly, helpful and supportive staff”
We request to print swab test result at lobby counter. Staff help us to print. Our initial room have faucet pipe issue. We called help desk and after maintenance PIC troubleshooting, we have transferred to new room. Thank you very much for fast action.
