"Its located in the center of surabaya city, place is very quiet, and staffs are very friendly, easy transportation, cheap and clean. Overall, its a nice place to stay for backpackers, the room is very small but its comfortable to stay. Internet connection is verry good. "

"Staying at Kanwa Residence is quite satisfactory. The room is clean and spacious. One thing I dislike was the reception counter always with cigarette smoke/ smells. A local advised me not to go out and walk nearby streets as it is not safe, especially during the night. I was staying in a room ground floor which Internet accessible is not strong. They may need to improve this as well. "
